Brass bar stools, handcrafted in India — wholesale for importers, retailers and hospitality.
Warm brass legs, footrests and accents on a solid-wood seat structure, in counter and bar heights. Manufacturer-direct, compliance-documented and container-ready — from a trial order up.
A brass bar stool is the piece a buyer sees first at the counter.
Nothing signals a considered bar or kitchen island like a row of matching stools catching the light. Brass gives that stool the one thing tubular-steel import seating never quite manages — real warmth, a tone that flatters stone and timber tops, and a surface that can be mirror-bright or softly antique. It is what a designer specifies to lift a hotel bar or a boutique café, and what a retailer margins up because the metal reads premium the moment the carton opens. We build it honestly: brass does the visible metalwork and the footrest ring, a solid-wood frame carries the sitter's weight, and the seat is shaped wood, upholstered, leathered or hand-caned. Choose a ready design from our catalogue or hand us your own.
Brass on the outside, solid wood doing the work.
Brass appears on a bar stool in several ways — and each changes the price, the weight and the look. Because a stool sits higher than a chair, takes the full load through narrow legs and a footrest that gets kicked all day, we match the construction to your setting and to how you ship it.
Cast & tubular brass frames
Sand-cast or spun tubular legs and a brazed ring footrest carry the visible brass, with a sheesham, mango or acacia seat taking the load — the heaviest, most luxe build, ideal as a statement counter stool.
Brass accents on a wood stool
Polished brass feet, sabots, kickplates and a capped footrest lift a turned or carved solid-wood stool — lighter to ship, lower material cost, and an easy upsell across a seating range.
Sheet-clad & mixed metal
Brass sheet wrapped over a wood-cored base, or brass paired with powder-coated wrought iron, for an industrial look that ships knock-down to raise container density.
Whatever the build, every stool carries at least one solid-wood component, so it survives daily perching and ocean freight alike. Read how the metal itself behaves — composition, finishes and care — on our brass material guide, or see the full range on the bar stools hub.
Counter or bar height — specified to your surface, not a guess.
Counter & bar heights
Counter stools at roughly 61–66 cm for a 90–95 cm island, bar stools at roughly 71–76 cm for a 105–115 cm bar top, plus extra-tall builds to order. The footrest is set so a seated adult rests comfortably at your surface.
Backless, low-back or full-back
Backless stools tuck fully under a counter and fill a container efficiently; low-back and full-back versions add support for lingering hospitality settings. Swivel and fixed seats both available.
Seat & wood pairings
Pair brass with full-grain or buffalo leather, your own upholstery fabric, hand-woven cane and rattan, or a shaped solid-wood seat in sheesham, mango or acacia.
One metal, many looks — matched to your sample before we cut a container.
Polished, brushed or antique
A mirror polish for a bright, luxe stool; a brushed satin that hides fingerprints on legs and footrest; or a chemically aged antique tone for a consistent vintage look from day one across a whole row of stools.
Lacquered, plated & reinforced
Clear lacquer seals the brass against tarnish, while nickel, chrome, black or gunmetal plating and powder-coat extend the palette for high-traffic contract floors. On bar-height stools we reinforce the footrest — the first part to show wear.
Indicative specs — every height, metal finish and seat is made to your order.
Figures below are typical ranges for reference. We manufacture to your exact drawings and market requirements, so seat height, footrest position, frame build, brass finish and upholstery are all specified at the quote stage. Material and lot traceability is documented where applicable.

Made for hospitality & retail
Brass is hard-wearing, corrosion-resistant and repairable, which makes a brass stool well suited to hotel bars, restaurant counters, cocktail lounges, cafés and boutique retail — as well as the home kitchen-island range. Because a stool takes the full load through narrow legs and a hard-used footrest, we build to commercial-use expectations, QC each lot, and finish the metal for the wear your setting demands. See the full range we make for hotels, restaurants and bars.
Import-ready & easy to care for
Lacquered brass needs only a dry or barely-damp soft cloth — no abrasives or acidic cleaners that strip the seal; a living finish simply deepens, and can be polished bright and re-lacquered. On the paperwork side, the wood component and the container clear with FSC, Vriksh, EUDR-ready and CARB/TSCA documentation. See every certification we hold.
Brass bar stools — wholesale & export FAQ
What is a brass bar stool made of?
Our brass bar stools pair a brass metalwork element — cast or tubular legs, a ring footrest, a sheet-clad base or polished accents — with a solid-wood structure and a wood, upholstered, leather or woven-cane seat. Every stool carries at least one solid-wood component, usually a sheesham, mango or acacia seat and a wood-cored frame, so it holds a seated adult and survives daily commercial use; we do not supply plywood-only or panel seating. The brass is worked in the Moradabad metal cluster and assembled with our Jodhpur solid-wood lines.
What height are your brass bar stools — counter or bar?
We make both. Counter-height stools sit at roughly 61–66 cm seat height for a standard 90–95 cm kitchen island or counter, and bar-height stools at roughly 71–76 cm for a 105–115 cm bar top. We also build spa or extra-tall heights to order. Tell us the surface height and we match the seat, footrest position and overall dimensions to it before any production run.
Does the brass on a bar stool tarnish?
Bare brass develops a warm patina as copper in the alloy reacts with air, and many buyers choose that living finish on purpose. Where a bright, stable look is required we apply a clear lacquer that seals the surface so it will not tarnish in normal indoor use, while antique and brushed finishes are aged deliberately so they read consistent from day one. For high-traffic cocktail bars and restaurant counters we also plate or powder-coat the metal and reinforce the footrest, the part that takes the most wear.
What is the minimum order for wholesale brass bar stools?
A trial or sample order can ship LCL (part-container) so you can approve the metal tone, finish, seat height and comfort before committing. For best wholesale pricing thereafter, one 20ft full container load (FCL) is our standard minimum, and we consolidate brass bar stools with other seating, bar furniture, décor and metalware into a single mixed container. Flat-pack construction raises the stool count per container.
Can you make brass bar stools to our own design or private label?
Yes. We work as both ODM (our catalogue designs) and OEM — manufacturing to your drawings, seat height, metal finish and upholstery, with custom CNC carving, your branding and retail-ready, Amazon-FBA-ready or gift packaging. Send a reference image or a spec and we prototype to it before any production run.
Are your brass bar stools compliant for US and EU import?
Yes. Brass itself is a metal, but the solid-wood component and the wider consolidated container still have to clear — so we document FSC chain-of-custody, Vriksh timber-legality and CITES-compliant sheesham handling, with ISO, SGS and SEDEX/SMETA audits, EN 10204 MTC-style material traceability, EUDR-ready due diligence, US Lacey Act support, UK Timber Regulation, CARB/TSCA finishes and ISPM-15 export packing.
Send a reference or your catalogue — we'll quote, sample and ship.
Tell us the style, seat height, metal finish, quantity and market. We confirm the brass build, wood, upholstery, MOQ and a FOB/CIF price, produce a sample for approval, then manufacture and pack to your standard on a 30–45 day lead time.
