Hand-carved wooden furniture, made in India for the world's finest rooms.
Carved cabinets, beds, sideboards, screens and temple pieces — the Saharanpur carving tradition in solid sheesham, mango and teak. CNC-accurate where it should be, hand-finished where it matters, and documented for import so it clears customs alongside the rest of your container.
Carving is the detail buyers pay a premium for — and copy machines cannot.
A plain cabinet competes on price; a hand-carved one competes on craft. Relief panels, jali screens and pierced galleries give a retailer or designer a story to merchandise and a margin to defend. We treat carved furniture as a discipline, not a surcharge: solid-wood construction underneath, genuine hand detail on top, and the same QC and compliance paperwork that lets it land in the US or EU without a pause at the port.

India's finest furniture carving comes from Saharanpur, where carvers have worked grape-vine, floral and geometric motifs for generations. We bring that craft onto the honest solid-wood construction that Jodhpur is known for — and govern the whole process with the QC and documentation a serious importer needs.
Generational hand skill
Relief, undercut, pierced jali and lattice work carved by hand — the depth, flow and crispness that define authentic carved furniture and that machine-only goods flatten out.
CNC accuracy where it counts
Custom CNC roughs out repeatable panels, joinery and matched sets for dimensional consistency and speed; carvers then finish the detail by hand. You get volume without losing the craft.
Solid wood, not veneer
Carving is cut into real sheesham, mango, teak or reclaimed wood — never pressed or applied onto panel. The piece is structural all the way through, finished with CARB / TSCA-compliant lacquers.
Your motif or ours
Order our catalogue carving (ODM) or send a reference, drawing or heritage pattern and we reproduce it (OEM) — scaled, repeated and finished to your spec with bespoke design support.
Carved pieces, consolidated with your furniture, cleared for your market.
Carved furniture is heavy on detail, not always on volume — which makes it ideal to blend into a mixed load. Because we source carved pieces, plain solid-wood furniture, metalware and décor in-house and across a vetted cluster network, we build one container: carved cabinets and headboards alongside dining tables, consoles and accessories, packed to maximise density. Larger items ship flat-pack or knockdown to free up the cube, and the whole load is inspected to one standard and documented once.

Carved furniture is solid wood — so the paperwork travels with it.
Every carved piece carries the full timber regime. We document FSC chain-of-custody and Vriksh timber-legality, handle Dalbergia sissoo (sheesham) to CITES, and are EUDR-ready with geolocation and deforestation-free due diligence. US Lacey Act declarations, UK Timber Regulation, CARB / TSCA finishes and SEDEX / SMETA social audit are covered, with ISO and SGS inspection on the line — so your container clears while others' sit at the port.

Sourcing hand-carved wooden furniture from India.
What is carved wooden furniture and where is it made in India?
Carved wooden furniture is solid-wood furniture decorated with hand relief, lattice (jali) and pierced carving rather than plain or machined faces. Ours draws on the Saharanpur carving tradition — generations of carvers working grape-vine, floral and geometric motifs — executed in sheesham (Indian rosewood), mango and teak. We make carved cabinets, almirahs, beds and headboards, sideboards, consoles, room dividers, trunks, tables, temple pieces and mirror frames as ODM catalogue ranges or OEM to your own drawings.
Is the carving done by hand or by machine?
Both, by design. We rough out repeatable panels and joinery with custom CNC for speed and dimensional consistency, then our carvers finish the detail, undercuts and texture by hand so each piece keeps the depth that machine-only goods cannot replicate. For bespoke orders we can work fully by hand to a reference or drawing.
Can carved furniture ship in the same container as plain furniture and décor?
Yes. Because we source carved pieces, plain solid-wood furniture, metalware and décor across our own factory and a vetted cluster network, we build a single mixed-category container — documented once, inspected to one standard and packed to maximise density. A trial or sample order can ship LCL; thereafter one 20ft full container load is our standard minimum for best pricing.
Is hand-carved wooden furniture compliant for import into the US and EU?
Yes. Carved furniture is solid wood, so it carries the full timber paperwork — FSC chain-of-custody, Vriksh timber-legality and CITES-compliant handling of Dalbergia sissoo (sheesham). We are EUDR-ready with geolocation and deforestation-free due diligence, and support US Lacey Act declarations, UK Timber Regulation, CARB / TSCA finishes and ISPM-15 heat-treated export packing. Certificate numbers are shared directly with serious buyers.
What woods and finishes are used for carved pieces?
Sheesham (Indian rosewood) takes the finest, crispest detail and is our default for intricate work; mango carries bolder relief at a competitive cost; teak and reclaimed wood suit heavier architectural pieces. Finishes run from natural oil and wax through distressed, antique and whitewash to CARB / TSCA-compliant lacquers, with carved detail picked out or left to the grain as you prefer.
What is the minimum order and lead time for carved furniture?
A trial or sample order can ship LCL so you approve the wood, carving depth and finish before committing. Thereafter one 20ft FCL is our standard minimum for competitive pricing, with mixed categories freely combined. Typical lead time is 30–45 days; carving-heavy and urgent orders can be scheduled at a premium.
Send us your motif or ours — we'll quote, carve and sample it.
Share a reference, a catalogue or a drawing. We'll come back with FOB / CIF pricing, MOQs and lead times, and produce a sample so you approve the wood, the carving depth and the finish before you commit a container.
