FSC certified furniture, with chain-of-custody you can put on paper.
Responsibly sourced solid wood is only half the story — the half buyers can verify is the documentation. We hold FSC chain-of-custody and record it per shipment, so your container carries a credible sustainability claim into the US, UK and EU.
Responsibly managed forests, tracked all the way to your container.
The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) sets the world's most recognised standard for responsible forestry. For a furniture exporter, the part that matters is chain-of-custody: certified timber must be kept separate and accounted for at every stage — from the forest, through sawing and manufacturing, to the finished piece and the shipping documents. An FSC claim on your order is a documented, auditable statement that the wood came from responsibly managed forests and controlled sources. It is a sustainability credential a buyer can stand behind, not a marketing adjective.
From the forest
Certified and controlled sources are the starting point — responsibly managed forests, not wood of unknown origin.
Through our factory
Chain-of-custody keeps certified material tracked and segregated through our own factory and vetted network, so the claim stays intact.
Onto your paperwork
The FSC claim is recorded on your shipment documentation, giving you a verifiable sustainability statement for your market.
FSC is the credential that keeps containers moving.
Retailers, hospitality groups and online marketplaces increasingly demand a credible, named sustainability claim before they place wood furniture on their shelves or sites — and FSC is the one almost everyone recognises. Beyond the sales story, FSC documentation strengthens the legal file your customs broker relies on: it supports your EU Deforestation Regulation due-diligence record, and reinforces US Lacey Act and UK Timber Regulation declarations. The practical payoff is simple — fewer questions at port, less risk of a held or rejected container, and a product you can legitimately market as responsibly sourced.
A claim your customers trust
FSC is the most widely understood forestry mark in retail and contract procurement. It turns "responsibly sourced" from a promise into a documented claim — the difference between winning a listing and losing it.
A file your broker can clear
Pair FSC chain-of-custody with Vriksh legality and EUDR-ready geolocation and your shipment arrives with its sustainability, legality and market-compliance evidence aligned — so clearance is a formality.
FSC on paper, backed by the rest of the file.
FSC never travels alone on our shipments. Where you need an FSC claim, we schedule certified and controlled-source material against your order and keep the chain-of-custody record clean from purchase to container. Alongside it we document timber legality through Vriksh, handle sheesham (Dalbergia sissoo) in line with CITES, and build the geolocation and deforestation-free due diligence the EU Deforestation Regulation expects. Certificate names and numbers go directly to confirmed buyers per shipment — we never publish numbers, to protect them from misuse.
| Requirement | Our standard |

Order it, claim it, clear it.
An FSC claim is scheduled, not assumed — so the single most important step is telling us at the quote stage. From there the path is deliberate.
Flag it at RFQ
Tell us you need an FSC claim. We confirm which species and ranges can be supplied certified for your order.
We schedule certified wood
Certified and controlled-source material is reserved against your order and kept segregated through production.
Chain-of-custody recorded
The claim is tracked through our factory and network, with QC on every piece over a 30–45 day lead time.
Documented on dispatch
Your shipment leaves Mundra / Nhava Sheva with the FSC claim recorded and certificate details shared directly with you.
FSC, legality and reclaimed wood — how they fit together.
FSC vs. legality
FSC proves responsible sourcing; Vriksh proves legal harvest and trade. We carry both so a buyer never has to choose between sustainability and legality evidence.
The species question
We work in sheesham, mango, acacia, teak, rubberwood, pine and reclaimed wood. FSC-claimed supply is confirmed per species at quote — sheesham additionally gets CITES-compliant handling.
The reclaimed option
Where certified stock of a species isn't scheduled, our reclaimed and old-wood lines give you a genuinely deforestation-free story that resonates with sustainability-led retail.
FSC certified furniture — your questions
What does FSC certified furniture actually mean?
FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certification confirms that the wood in a product is sourced from responsibly managed forests and controlled sources, and that it has been tracked at every stage from forest to finished piece. For furniture, the key is chain-of-custody: a documented, auditable record that the certified timber was kept separate and accounted for through sawing, manufacturing and shipping. We hold FSC chain-of-custody and document it per shipment for serious buyers.
Is FSC the same as being legal timber or EUDR compliant?
No — they are related but distinct. FSC is a voluntary sustainability and chain-of-custody standard. Legality is proven separately through Vriksh (India's EPCH timber legality verification) and CITES-compliant handling of sheesham (Dalbergia sissoo). The EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) is a market-entry rule requiring geolocation and deforestation-free due diligence. We carry all three layers — FSC, Vriksh and EUDR-readiness — so your shipment satisfies sustainability, legality and market-compliance at once.
Can you supply FSC chain-of-custody documentation for my order?
Yes. We provide the relevant certificate names and numbers directly to confirmed buyers on a shipment basis — never published publicly, to prevent misuse. For an FSC claim on your invoice and packing documents, confirm the requirement at the quote stage so we schedule certified material and keep the chain-of-custody record clean from order to container.
Do all your products come FSC certified by default?
FSC-claimed material is scheduled against the order rather than assumed on every line, because certified stock and the claim type depend on the species and range. Tell us at RFQ that you need an FSC claim and we build the order around certified and controlled sources, with the paperwork to match. Our reclaimed and old-wood lines also support a strong deforestation-free and sustainability story.
Why does FSC certified furniture matter for US and EU importers?
Retail buyers, hospitality groups and online marketplaces increasingly require a credible sustainability claim, and FSC is the most widely recognised. For the EU, FSC supports your EUDR due-diligence file; for the US and UK it strengthens Lacey Act and UK Timber Regulation declarations. In short, FSC documentation reduces the risk of a container being queried, held or rejected at port, and lets you market the product as responsibly sourced.
Which woods can you offer with FSC certification?
We work in solid sheesham (Indian rosewood), mango, acacia, teak, rubberwood, pine and reclaimed/old wood. FSC-claimed supply is confirmed per species and range at the quote stage. Where FSC-certified stock of a given species is not scheduled, we can still support legality through Vriksh verification and offer reclaimed-wood options for a deforestation-free alternative.
