Solid wood bookshelves, built to fill your containers and hold your weight.
Open shelving, ladder bookcases, bookcases with doors and wood & iron library units — made in solid sheesham, mango, acacia and reclaimed wood, flat-pack or assembled, with the compliance paperwork your buyers now demand.
A bookshelf range that fills the shelf, the container and the compliance file.
A bookshelf is one of the highest-turning solid-wood categories a buyer can stock — it sells into living rooms, home offices, hotel lobbies, cafés, schools and libraries alike. We build the full span: tall and low open bookcases, ladder and leaning shelves, cube and modular storage, bookcases with drawers or doors, and heavy wood-and-iron library units. Every piece carries a genuine solid-wood frame, so it holds real book weight and survives years of commercial use — not a veneered panel pretending to.

FSC, EUDR & Lacey — documented before your container loads.
Solid-wood bookshelves carry real timber volume, which puts them squarely under the EU Deforestation Regulation, the US Lacey Act and the UK Timber Regulation. We build every order's paperwork to match — geolocated, deforestation-free, Vriksh-verified sheesham and FSC chain-of-custody — so your bookshelves clear customs while uncertified stock waits at the port.
| Requirement | Our standard |
|---|---|
| Timber legality | Vriksh verified · CITES-compliant sheesham |
| Sustainability | FSC chain-of-custody · reclaimed lines |
| EU market | EUDR-ready · geolocation · UKTR |
| US market | Lacey Act support · CARB / TSCA finishes |
| Social audit | SEDEX / SMETA · ISO · SGS inspection |
| Export packing | ISPM-15 heat-treated · flat-pack options |
Shelves that survive the shelf life.
Kiln-dried & stable
Timber is kiln-dried to export moisture levels before build, so shelves resist warping and splitting across humid and dry climates alike.
Load-rated construction
Solid-wood frames, proper joinery and, where specified, iron bracing let shelves hold full book loads in homes and heavy-use libraries.
Simple to maintain
Dust with a soft dry cloth and wax or oil periodically; keep out of direct heat. Care guidance ships with every order for your end customers.
Bookshelf sourcing, answered.
What woods and materials do your bookshelves come in?
We build bookshelves in solid sheesham (Indian rosewood), mango, acacia, teak, reclaimed/old wood, rosewood, rubberwood and pine. Beyond solid wood we combine the timber with wrought iron, marble or stone tops, cane or rattan panels and brass detailing — any piece with a solid-wood heart. We do not position as a plywood or panel supplier.
What is your minimum order for bookshelves?
A trial or sample order can ship LCL (part-container). For best wholesale pricing thereafter, one 20ft full container load (FCL) is our standard minimum. We also consolidate bookshelves with other furniture, metalware and décor into a single mixed container.
Do you ship bookshelves flat-pack or assembled?
Both. We offer knockdown / flat-pack / RTA bookshelves that lower freight cost and breakage and maximise container density — ideal for large importers and online sellers — as well as fully assembled units. Packaging can be custom, retail-ready, Amazon-FBA-ready or branded.
Are your bookshelves compliant for import into the US and EU?
Yes. We document FSC chain-of-custody, Vriksh timber-legality and CITES-compliant handling of sheesham, with ISO, SGS and SEDEX/SMETA audits. We are EUDR-ready with geolocation and deforestation-free due diligence, and support US Lacey Act declarations, UK Timber Regulation, CARB/TSCA finishes and ISPM-15 export packing.
Can you make bookshelves to our own design or private label?
Yes — we are both ODM (our own catalogue designs) and OEM (we manufacture to your drawings, sizes, finishes and private-label brand), including custom CNC carving, bespoke configurations and branded or retail-ready packaging.
What is the typical lead time for a bookshelf order?
Typical lead time is 30–45 days from approved sample, with urgent orders accepted at a premium. Every piece is QC-checked, and a factory visit can be arranged on prior intimation.
Send a reference, get a quote, approve a sample.
Share your target sizes, woods, finishes and volumes — we quote FOB or CIF from Mundra / Nhava Sheva with MOQs and lead times, then produce a sample so you approve the real thing before a container is built.
