Certified furniture exporter in India — compliance your customs broker will thank you for.
Most Jodhpur workshops sell on craft and relationships alone. We pair genuine handcraft with documented, verifiable, buyer-ready certification — so your container clears customs while others sit at the port.
A certificate is not a logo — it is a guarantee your shipment moves.
For an importer, a wholesaler or a retail brand, compliance is not a nicety. It is the difference between a container that clears on arrival and one that is detained, fined or re-exported. We treat every standard below as a working document that travels with your goods, not a badge on a wall.
Every standard a solid-wood importer is asked about — covered.
We group our certifications into four layers: the right to export, the legality and sustainability of the timber, independent proof of quality and ethics, and readiness for each destination market's own rules. Here is what each layer is, why buyers care, and the standard we hold.
| Requirement | Our standard |
|---|---|
| Right to export (trade bodies) | EPCH member · RCMC (Registration-Cum-Membership Certificate) · FIEO registered |
| Timber legality | Vriksh verified (EPCH Indian Timber Legality Assessment & Verification) · CITES-compliant sheesham (Dalbergia sissoo) handling |
| Sustainability / chain-of-custody | FSC chain-of-custody · reclaimed and old-wood lines |
| Quality management | ISO quality management · SGS third-party inspection |
| Ethical / social audit | SEDEX / SMETA audited supply chain |
| EU market readiness | EUDR due-diligence & geolocation ready · UK Timber Regulation (UKTR) |
| US market readiness | Lacey Act declaration support · CARB / TSCA Title VI formaldehyde-compliant finishes |
| Export packaging | ISPM-15 heat-treated / fumigated wood packaging |
| Traceability | Lot / heat traceability & EN 10204 MTC-style documentation where applicable |
Certificate numbers are real, current and verifiable — shared directly with qualified buyers on request, never published, to prevent misuse.
What each certification actually does for your order.
Your right to export — EPCH, RCMC & FIEO
We are a member of the Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH) and export under a valid RCMC and FIEO registration. For you this means a recognised, audited exporter on the other side of the invoice — not an unregistered middleman — and clean trade documentation that your bank and freight forwarder accept without friction.
Legal, sustainable timber — FSC, Vriksh & CITES
Our wood carries FSC chain-of-custody and Vriksh timber-legality verification, and we handle sheesham (Dalbergia sissoo) in line with CITES requirements. This is the paperwork that proves your furniture is not linked to illegal logging — the single most common reason timber shipments are held.
Independent quality & ethics — ISO, SGS, SEDEX/SMETA
ISO quality management governs how we build; SGS third-party inspection lets you verify a lot before it ships; and a SEDEX/SMETA social audit documents fair, safe working conditions. Together they answer the compliance questionnaire your retail or hospitality procurement team will send.
Finish & packaging — CARB/TSCA & ISPM-15
Where composite components apply, we use CARB / TSCA Title VI formaldehyde-compliant finishes; solid-wood construction is our default. All wooden export packaging is ISPM-15 heat-treated or fumigated and marked — so pallets and crates are never the thing that stops your container.
EUDR, Lacey & UKTR — handled before you ask.
Since the EU Deforestation Regulation reshaped how timber furniture enters Europe, a missing due-diligence statement can strand a container. We build our file around the destination: geolocated, deforestation-free, Vriksh-verified sheesham and FSC chain-of-custody for the EU and UK; Lacey Act species and harvest data for the United States; CARB / TSCA finishes and ISPM-15 packing on top.
The result is simple. When your container lands, the documents your broker needs are already in the file — so clearance is a formality, not a hold, a fine or a re-export.
| Your market | What travels with the goods |
|---|---|
| European Union | EUDR due-diligence data · geolocation · FSC CoC · Vriksh |
| United Kingdom | UKTR legality evidence · FSC chain-of-custody |
| United States | Lacey Act declaration data · CARB / TSCA finishes |
| Australia & Gulf | Legality & sustainability references · ISPM-15 packing |
| All markets | SGS inspection option · lot / heat traceability |
Documented, verifiable, buyer-ready.
Share your market
Tell us where the container lands. We map the exact certifications and declarations that destination requires onto your order.
Verify before you ship
We share certificate copies one-to-one, and you can commission SGS or your own third-party inspection on the finished lot.
Clear on arrival
Compliance paperwork and ISPM-15 marks ship with the goods, so customs clearance is routine at your port.

Certification FAQs
What makes you a certified furniture exporter in India?
We export under an EPCH membership with a valid RCMC (Registration-Cum-Membership Certificate) and FIEO registration, and we hold FSC chain-of-custody and Vriksh timber-legality verification. Quality and ethics are backed by ISO quality management, SGS third-party inspection and SEDEX/SMETA social audit. Certificate numbers are shared directly with serious buyers on request.
Which certifications and compliance regimes do you cover for furniture?
Trade and export: EPCH, RCMC and FIEO. Timber legality and sustainability: FSC chain-of-custody, Vriksh and CITES-compliant handling of sheesham (Dalbergia sissoo). Quality and social: ISO, SGS and SEDEX/SMETA. Market readiness: EUDR due-diligence, US Lacey Act support, UK Timber Regulation (UKTR), CARB / TSCA Title VI finishes and ISPM-15 export packaging.
Are you ready for the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR)?
Yes. We maintain geolocation data for timber sourcing and deforestation-free, Vriksh-verified due diligence on sheesham, aligned to FSC chain-of-custody, so your EU importer can file its due-diligence statement with the documents already in hand.
Can you support US Lacey Act and CARB compliance?
Yes. We provide the declaration data US importers need under the Lacey Act — species, genus and country of harvest — and we use CARB / TSCA Title VI formaldehyde-compliant finishes on products where composite components apply, with solid-wood construction as our default.
Do you publish your certificate numbers?
No. Certificates are real, current and verifiable, but numbers are never published on the website to prevent misuse. We share them directly, one-to-one, with qualified buyers during the quotation or sampling stage, along with scanned copies on letterhead.
How is compliance documented per shipment?
Each shipment carries the paperwork its destination market requires — chain-of-custody and legality references, Lacey or EUDR due-diligence data, ISPM-15 heat-treatment marks on packaging, and lot or heat traceability where applicable, so clearance at your port is a formality rather than a hold.
Put our paperwork to work on your next container.
Send your requirement and destination market. We will quote FOB or CIF from Mundra / Nhava Sheva and attach the exact compliance file your import needs — FSC, Vriksh, EUDR, Lacey and more.
