The aged look buyers keep reordering

A vintage bar cart has to look old honestly — and ours is built to.

Vintage is the single most searched style in the bar-cart category, and the hardest to fake. A stain alone reads flat; a real aged cart needs old wood with its own history, metal that has been worked and antiqued, and a patina rubbed back by hand rather than sprayed on. Jodhpur is built for exactly this — our workshops have aged solid wood and wrought iron for generations, so we distress, lime, blacken and antique to a brief and hit the same tone across a full container run. The result is a trolley that photographs as a collected, decades-old find, ships compactly, and earns a prime spot in a catalogue shoot, a styled drinks corner or a hotel lounge.

What goes into the look

Old wood, worked metal, and a patina built by hand.

A vintage cart is a conversation between three elements. We match each to how you sell and ship it, and we can lead with the wood, the iron or the brass depending on the silhouette.

Reclaimed & distressed wood

Old wood and reclaimed sheesham carry genuine nail holes, saw marks and colour variation — an authentically aged top no new timber can imitate. New sheesham, mango and acacia can also be distressed, limed or rubbed back to a weathered tone.

Blackened iron & aged brass

Wrought-iron frames in a hand-forged, blackened or rust-rubbed finish for an industrial-vintage cage, or chemically antiqued brass for an Art-Deco glow — the metalwork that dates the piece without a single new-looking edge.

Tiers, rails & castors

Two or three service tiers in weathered wood, tempered glass or Rajasthan marble, with bottle rails, stemware holders and period-style spoked or lockable castors that complete the retro silhouette.

Because every cart carries a solid-wood or iron component, it ships inside a documented timber container rather than as a panel product. Read how the signature material behaves — grain, movement and care — on our reclaimed wood guide and our wrought-iron guide, or see every material and style on the bar carts hub.

Styles & finishes

One brief, many eras — matched to your sample before we cut a container.

Art-Deco & mid-century

Curved brass cages, tapered legs and warm lacquered tiers for a 1930s-to-1960s cocktail look — the dressy end of vintage that anchors a boutique-hotel drinks corner.

Industrial & rustic farmhouse

Pipe-and-caster frames, blackened iron and chunky reclaimed planks for a workshop-era cart, or a softer limewashed farmhouse version for warmer, country-styled interiors.

Distress level, to order

From a gentle hand-rubbed age to a heavily weathered, well-travelled finish — we set the patina, the sheen and the edge-wear on a physical sample so the whole run matches.

All wood finishes are CARB/TSCA-compliant, available in natural, stained, limed, distressed or matt-to-satin lacquer. For a glossier, metal-forward sibling to this range, see our brass bar carts; for a fixed storage piece, the bar cabinets category runs the same vintage treatments.

Specifications & sizing

Indicative specs — every dimension, wood, metal and patina is made to your order.

The figures opposite are typical ranges for reference. We manufacture to your exact drawings and market requirements, so cart size, wood species, frame metal, tier material, distress level and castor type are all specified at the quote stage. Material and lot traceability is documented where applicable.

Made for hospitality & retail

A vintage cart suits speakeasy bars, boutique hotels, lounges and independent retail — wheeled tableside for service or parked as a styled drinks display. We build the joinery and braze the metal for genuine commercial use, fit lockable castors, and seal the finish so the aged look survives daily handling rather than wearing through. See the full range we make for hotels, restaurants and bars.

Import-ready & easy to care for

Distressed wood needs only a dry or barely-damp soft cloth and an occasional wax or oil; the patina is meant to deepen, so minor marks read as character, not damage. On the paperwork side, the solid wood and the container clear with FSC, Vriksh, EUDR-ready and CARB/TSCA documentation. See every certification we hold.

Questions buyers ask

Vintage bar carts — wholesale & export FAQ

What makes a bar cart vintage?

A vintage bar cart earns its look from the materials and the finish, not from age. We build the frame in aged brass, blackened wrought iron or hand-distressed solid wood, then work a patina into it — chemically antiqued metal, a weathered limewash or a rubbed-back stain on reclaimed sheesham, mango or old wood — so the trolley reads as a collected, decades-old piece straight off the container. Silhouettes draw on Art-Deco cages, mid-century tapered legs and industrial pipe-and-caster forms. We are a solid-wood and metal manufacturer, so every vintage cart carries a genuine wood or wrought-iron component; we do not supply plywood or panel trolleys.

What materials are vintage bar carts made from?

Most of our vintage carts are built around solid reclaimed or old wood, sheesham, mango or acacia shelves paired with a wrought-iron or aged-brass frame, with tiers in weathered wood, tempered glass, or Rajasthan marble and stone. Reclaimed wood is the signature choice — its old nail holes, saw marks and colour variation give an authentically aged top that cannot be faked with stain alone. Read how the timber behaves on our reclaimed wood guide, and see metal options on the wrought-iron and brass material pages.

What is the minimum order for wholesale vintage bar carts?

A trial or sample order can ship LCL (part-container) so you can approve the wood, the frame, the distress level and the patina before you commit. For best wholesale pricing thereafter, one 20ft full container load is our standard minimum, and we consolidate vintage bar carts with bar cabinets, console tables, trunks, décor and metalware into a single mixed container.

Can you make vintage bar carts to our own design or private label?

Yes. We work as both ODM, using our own catalogue designs, and OEM, manufacturing to your drawings, dimensions, wood species, metal finish, distress level and castor type, with your branding and retail-ready or Amazon-FBA-ready cartons. Send a reference image or a spec sheet and we prototype to it before any production run, so the aged look is signed off on a physical sample first.

Are your vintage bar carts compliant for US and EU import?

Yes. Because every vintage cart carries solid wood, the timber and the container have to clear customs, so we document FSC chain-of-custody, Vriksh timber-legality and CITES-compliant sheesham handling, with ISO, SGS and SEDEX/SMETA audits, EUDR-ready due diligence, US Lacey Act support, UK Timber Regulation, CARB/TSCA-compliant wood finishes and ISPM-15 heat-treated export packing. Certificate numbers are shared directly with serious buyers rather than published.

What are typical vintage bar cart dimensions and lead time?

Most two- and three-tier vintage carts fall around 70–90 cm wide, 40–50 cm deep and 75–90 cm tall, on lockable castors or a fixed base; every size is made to your spec. Typical lead time is 30–45 days after sample approval, with urgent orders accommodated at a premium. We ship FOB or CIF from Mundra or Nhava Sheva.
