Brass TV units — solid-wood media consoles with handcrafted brass.
Brass-clad fronts, hand-cut brass inlay, fluted brass legs and jewel-bright hardware on a genuine sheesham, mango or reclaimed-wood carcass — the premium media console look, manufactured in Jodhpur, documented for import, and shipped from a single trial order up to repeat container volumes.
Solid wood at the core, brass where it shows.
A brass TV unit is a solid-wood media console dressed in real metal — not a hollow brass box. We build the carcass, drawers and top in kiln-dried hardwood, then marry in the brass as cladding, inlay, fluting, strapping, feet or hardware. It is the meeting point of two Indian crafts: Jodhpur's solid-wood joinery and the Moradabad metalware tradition. The result reads as high-end media furniture on a retail floor, in a boutique-hotel install or on a Wayfair listing — with the weight, grain and longevity that only genuine timber gives.
The detail that lifts a console into a premium price band.
Visible luxury
Brass catches light the way wood and iron cannot. A brass-clad front or a run of fluted brass legs turns a standard low-line into a statement piece — the kind of SKU that photographs well and commands a higher shelf price.
It ages, it doesn't wear out
Brass is dense and corrosion-resistant. Left raw it develops a living patina buyers pay a premium for; lacquered, it holds a bright finish for years. Either way it outlasts plated or painted trims that chip in transit and use.
Design flexibility
Brass pairs with almost anything — dark sheesham, pale mango, reclaimed character wood, bone or mother-of-pearl inlay, matte-black iron. One brass motif lets you build a coordinated living-room range from a single container.
Specify the brass exactly as your range needs it.
Brass is applied to the wood console in several ways, in a range of finishes and sheens. Mix them on one piece or keep it to a single accent — every combination below is made-to-spec under OEM.
| Brass application | Where it sits | Typical look |
|---|---|---|
| Sheet cladding | Drawer fronts, door panels, full facade | Bold, reflective, high-impact statement piece |
| Hand-cut inlay | Set into the wood top or front | Fine geometric or floral linework, jewel-like |
| Fluting & strapping | Legs, corner posts, edge banding | Mid-century and Art-Deco accenting |
| Legs & base frame | Supporting the wood case | Slim brass or brass-on-iron console stance |
| Caps, pulls & hardware | Feet, knobs, handles, keyholes | Subtle finishing jewellery on a wood body |
| Finish | Character |
|---|---|
| Antique / aged | Warm, darkened patina — rustic, heritage and transitional ranges |
| Polished / mirror | Bright reflective shine — glamour and Deco-inspired pieces |
| Brushed / satin | Soft directional sheen — contemporary, restrained looks |
| Hammered / distressed | Textured artisanal surface — handcrafted character |
| Lacquered vs raw | Lacquer slows tarnish; raw brass develops a natural living patina |
Standard configurations — all built to your drawing.
Indicative dimensions suit common screen sizes; because we manufacture, every width, height, drawer and shelf count, cable routing, wood, brass pattern and finish is built to spec. Treat this as a starting point, not a fixed catalogue.

Brass furniture explained
Sheesham, the core wood
Dense Indian rosewood with rich grain — the classic carcass behind brass-clad consoles.

Bone inlay furnitureBrass on the surface, timber legality underneath.
Because a brass TV unit is still a solid-wood product, it falls under the same timber scrutiny EU and US customs now apply. We build the paperwork in: Vriksh-verified, CITES-compliant sheesham and FSC chain-of-custody, EUDR-ready geolocation and deforestation-free due diligence, with Lacey Act and UK Timber Regulation support and CARB / TSCA finishes — so the metalwork is the only thing buyers have to admire, not the customs file.
| Requirement | Our standard |

| Timber legality | Vriksh verified · CITES-compliant sheesham |
| Sustainability | FSC chain-of-custody · reclaimed lines |
| EU market | EUDR-ready · geolocation · UKTR |
| US market | Lacey Act support · CARB / TSCA finishes |

Looking after wood and brass together.
Brass upkeep
Dust with a soft dry cloth. Lacquered brass needs no polishing; raw brass can be left to patina or brought back to shine with a mild brass cleaner. We advise end-buyers in the care guidance you can print on your packaging.
Solid-wood movement
Kiln-dried timber and seasoned joinery keep brass-clad drawers running true across climates. Wipe the wood clean with a barely-damp cloth and avoid standing water at the brass-to-wood joints.
Shipped to arrive intact
Brass detailing is corner-protected and, on flat-pack builds, pre-fitted before ISPM-15 export packing — cutting transit damage and claims while loading more units per 20ft container.
Brass TV units — buyer FAQs.
Are your brass TV units solid wood or solid brass?
They are solid-wood media consoles finished with handcrafted brass — not hollow brass cabinets. The carcass, drawers and top are built in solid sheesham, mango, acacia or reclaimed wood, and the brass is applied as sheet cladding, hand-cut inlay, fluting, strapping, legs, caps or hardware. This gives you the warmth and durability of real timber with the jewel-like brass detail buyers associate with premium media furniture.
What brass finishes can you supply on a TV unit?
We supply antique (aged patina), polished mirror-bright, brushed/satin, hammered and distressed brass, with optional lacquer to slow tarnish or a raw living finish that ages naturally. Brass is combined with wood tones, bone or mother-of-pearl inlay and matte-black iron for contrast. Because we manufacture, finish, sheen and tone are matched to your drawing or physical reference.
What is the minimum order for brass TV units?
A trial or sample order can ship LCL (part-container). For best wholesale pricing thereafter, one 20ft full container load (FCL) is our standard minimum. Brass TV units consolidate well with brass-detailed sideboards, coffee tables, mirrors and décor into one mixed-category container.
Are brass TV units available flat-pack for shipping?
Yes. Many designs ship knockdown / flat-pack (RTA) with the brass detailing pre-fitted and protected, which lowers freight cost and transit damage and raises container density. Fully assembled builds are available where you prefer them, packed ISPM-15 for export.
Do your brass TV units meet US and EU import rules?
Yes. The solid-wood component carries FSC chain-of-custody, Vriksh timber-legality and CITES-compliant sheesham handling, and is EUDR-ready with geolocation and deforestation-free due diligence. We support US Lacey Act declarations and UK Timber Regulation, use CARB / TSCA Title VI formaldehyde-compliant finishes, and pack ISPM-15 heat-treated.
Can you make brass TV units to our own design and brand?
Yes. Under OEM we build to your drawings, brass pattern, finish, dimensions and hardware, with private-label and retail-ready, branded or Amazon-FBA-ready packaging. Our ODM catalogue designs are also available if you want a ready range to adapt.
Request a quote, or sample a brass console before you commit.
Send your drawings, catalogue or a reference image. We quote FOB/CIF from Mundra / Nhava Sheva with MOQs and a 30–45 day lead time, produce a sample for approval, then build and ship — assembled or flat-pack, fully documented.
