Brass headboards, handcrafted in India — wholesale for importers, retailers and hospitality.
Warm brass posts, spindles and accents married to a solid-wood frame, built to any bed standard and finished to your spec. Manufacturer-direct, compliance-documented and consolidated into one container with the rest of your bedroom range.
Brass gives a headboard the warmth and heft a buyer can see from across the showroom.
A headboard carries the style of an entire bedroom range, and brass is the metal designers and bedroom brands reach for when they want it to read premium — soft gold tone, real weight and a surface that can be mirror-bright or gently antique. We build it honestly: brass does the visible metalwork, a solid-wood frame carries the load and the fixings, and the finish is matched to your sample before we cut a container. Choose a ready design from our catalogue or hand us your own drawing.
Brass on show, solid wood doing the work.
Brass appears on a headboard in several ways — and each changes the price, the weight and how it ships. We match the construction to how you sell it and how you want to fill your container.
Cast & tubular brass frames
Sand-cast finials and spun tubular posts and spindles form a classic metal-bed headboard, braced to a sheesham or mango rail — the heaviest, most luxe build and a natural hotel or statement piece.
Brass accents on a wood panel
Polished brass caps, strapping, studs and inlay lift a carved or plain solid-wood panel — lighter to ship, lower material cost, and an easy upsell across a bedroom range.
Sheet-clad & mixed metal
Brass sheet wrapped over a wood-cored panel, or brass paired with powder-coated wrought iron, for a contemporary look that ships knock-down to raise container density.
Whatever the build, every headboard carries at least one solid-wood component, so it holds its fixings and survives commercial use. Read how the metal itself behaves — composition, finishes and care — on our brass material guide, or see every type we make on the headboards hub.
One metal, many looks — matched to your sample before production.
Polished, brushed or antique
A mirror polish for a bright, luxe headboard; a brushed satin that hides fingerprints in a guest room; or a chemically aged antique tone for a consistent vintage look from day one.
Lacquered & plated
Clear lacquer seals the brass against tarnish, while nickel, chrome, black and gunmetal plating and powder-coat extend the palette for high-traffic hospitality floors.
Wood & panel pairings
Pair brass with solid sheesham, mango or acacia, hand-carved Saharanpur-style panels, woven cane, or reclaimed wood and wrought iron for farmhouse and industrial ranges.

Made for hospitality & retail
Brass is hard-wearing, corrosion-resistant and repairable, which makes a brass headboard well suited to hotel guest rooms, boutique bedrooms and bedroom brands that photograph their range. We build to commercial-use expectations, QC each lot, and finish the metal for the wear your setting demands. See the full range we make for hotels, restaurants and resorts.
Import-ready & easy to care for
Lacquered brass needs only a dry or barely-damp soft cloth — no abrasives or acidic cleaners that strip the seal; a living finish simply deepens and can be polished bright and re-lacquered. On the paperwork side, the wood component and the container clear with FSC, Vriksh, EUDR-ready and CARB/TSCA documentation. See every certification we hold.
Brass headboards — wholesale & export FAQ
What is a brass headboard made of?
Our brass headboards pair worked brass — cast or tubular posts and spindles, a sheet-clad panel, or polished brass accents, caps and inlay — with a solid-wood frame. Every headboard carries at least one solid-wood component (a sheesham or mango rail, a carved panel or a wood-cored structure); we do not supply plywood-only or panel headboards. The brass is formed in the Moradabad metal cluster and assembled with our Jodhpur solid-wood lines.
What bed sizes do you make brass headboards for?
We build to any market's bed standard. For US buyers that means Twin, Full/Double, Queen, King and California King; we also produce UK and European sizes and fully custom widths and heights to your drawing. Freestanding, wall-mounted and bed-frame-integrated fixings are all available.
Does the brass on a headboard tarnish?
Bare brass develops a warm patina over time as it reacts with air, and many buyers choose that living finish on purpose. Where a bright, stable look is required we apply a clear lacquer that seals the surface so it will not tarnish in normal indoor use, while antique and brushed finishes are aged deliberately so they read consistent from day one. We also plate or powder-coat brass for high-traffic hotel settings.
What is the minimum order for wholesale brass headboards?
A trial or sample order can ship LCL (part-container) so you can approve the metal tone, finish and wood first. For best wholesale pricing thereafter, one 20ft full container load is our standard minimum, and we consolidate brass headboards with beds, nightstands and other bedroom pieces into one mixed container.
Can you make brass headboards to our own design or private label?
Yes. We work as both ODM (our catalogue designs) and OEM — manufacturing to your drawings, sizes, metal finish and wood, with custom CNC carving, your branding and retail-ready or Amazon-FBA packaging. Send a reference image or spec and we prototype to it before any production run.
Are your brass headboards compliant for US and EU import?
Yes. Brass itself is a metal, but the solid-wood component and the wider consolidated container still have to clear — so we document FSC chain-of-custody, Vriksh timber-legality and CITES-compliant sheesham handling, with ISO, SGS and SEDEX/SMETA audits, EN 10204 MTC-style material traceability, EUDR-ready due diligence, US Lacey Act support, UK Timber Regulation, CARB/TSCA finishes and ISPM-15 export packing.
Send your sizes, metal finish and target market — we'll quote, sample and ship.
Tell us the style, brass finish, wood, quantity and market. We confirm the build, MOQ and a FOB/CIF price, produce a sample for approval, then manufacture and pack to your standard on a 30–45 day lead time, with QC on every piece and a factory visit on prior intimation.
