The piece that sells a drinks corner

A brass bar cabinet is the one in the catalogue buyers photograph first.

Brass gives a bar cabinet a warmth and a glint that painted panel furniture never reaches — it catches low lounge light, it reads as expensive, and it turns a storage box into a focal piece for a home bar, a lounge, a hotel suite or a restaurant back-bar. We build it honestly: brass does the visible work on the fronts and the hardware, a solid-wood carcass carries the weight, holds the hinges and houses the bottles, stemware and glassware. Choose a ready design from our catalogue or hand us your own drawing and brand.

How brass is worked into a bar cabinet

Brass on the surface, solid wood doing the structure.

Brass reaches a cabinet in several distinct ways — and each changes the price, the weight and the look. We match the construction to how you sell and ship it.

Full brass-clad fronts

Hand-beaten or embossed brass sheet wrapped over solid-wood doors and panels — the richest, most luxe build, favoured for statement cabinets and boutique hotel bars.

Inlay, fluting & mesh grilles

Geometric or floral brass inlay set into sheesham, slim brass fluting across the doors, or an airy brass-mesh grille front — lighter to ship and an easy step-up across a cabinet range.

Brass hardware & detailing

Polished handles, gallery rails, hinges, cane-caps and tapered feet that lift a carved or clean-lined wood cabinet — lowest material cost and the simplest line to volume-produce.

Whatever the build, the carcass, shelves and dovetailed drawers are solid wood so the cabinet survives a working bar. Read how the metal itself behaves — composition, finishes and care — on our brass material guide, or see every wood and build on the bar cabinets hub.

Finishes & interior fit-out

One metal, many looks — matched to your sample before we cut a container.

Polished, brushed or antique

A mirror polish for a bright, luxe front; a brushed satin that hides fingerprints on daily-use doors; or a chemically aged antique tone for a consistent vintage look from day one.

Lacquered & plated

Clear lacquer seals the brass against tarnish, while nickel, chrome, black or gunmetal plating and powder-coat extend the palette for high-traffic restaurant and bar floors.

Working bar interior

Dovetailed drawers, adjustable shelves, bottle dividers, stemware rails, a pull-out serving surface and an optional mirrored or marble-topped back — specified to your service.

Where it sells & how it lasts

Built for the floor, documented for the port.

Made for hospitality & retail

Brass is hard-wearing, corrosion-resistant and repairable, which makes a brass bar cabinet well suited to hotel suites, lounges, restaurants and boutique retail. We build the carcass to commercial-use expectations, QC each lot, and finish the metal for the wear your setting demands. See the full range we make for hotels, restaurants and bars.

Import-ready & easy to care for

Lacquered brass needs only a dry or barely-damp soft cloth — no abrasives or acidic cleaners that strip the seal; a living finish simply deepens and can be polished bright and re-lacquered. On the paperwork side, the wood carcass and the container clear with FSC, Vriksh, EUDR-ready and CARB/TSCA documentation. See every certification we hold.

Questions buyers ask

Brass bar cabinets — wholesale & export FAQ

What is a brass bar cabinet made of?

A brass bar cabinet is a solid-wood cabinet dressed in brass — the metal appears as full sheet cladding on doors and panels, as geometric or floral inlay, as a fluted or mesh grille front, or as hardware: handles, gallery rails, hinges and feet. The carcass, shelves and dovetailed drawers are built in solid sheesham, mango, acacia or reclaimed wood, because brass sheet alone cannot carry weight or hold a hinge. Every cabinet has at least one solid-wood component; we do not supply plywood-only or panel units. The brass is worked in the Moradabad metal cluster and married to our Jodhpur solid-wood lines.

Does the brass on a bar cabinet tarnish?

Bare brass develops a warm patina over time as copper in the alloy reacts with air, and many buyers choose that living finish deliberately for a collected, antique look. Where a bright, stable surface is wanted we apply a clear lacquer that seals the brass so it will not tarnish in normal indoor use, and antique or brushed finishes are aged on purpose so they read consistent from day one. For high-traffic bars we can also plate or powder-coat the metal.

What is the minimum order for wholesale brass bar cabinets?

A trial or sample order can ship LCL (part-container) so you can approve the brass tone, inlay pattern, wood and build first. For best wholesale pricing thereafter, one 20ft full container load is our standard minimum, and we consolidate brass bar cabinets with sideboards, console tables, décor and metalware into a single mixed container.

Can you make brass bar cabinets to our own design or private label?

Yes. We work as both ODM (our catalogue designs) and OEM — manufacturing to your drawings, dimensions, brass finish, inlay pattern and interior fit-out, with custom CNC carving, your branding and retail-ready or Amazon-FBA packaging. Send a reference image or spec and we prototype to it before any production run.

Are your brass bar cabinets compliant for US and EU import?

Yes. Brass itself is a metal, but the solid-wood carcass and the wider consolidated container still have to clear — so we document FSC chain-of-custody, Vriksh timber-legality and CITES-compliant sheesham handling, with ISO, SGS and SEDEX/SMETA audits, EN 10204 MTC-style material traceability, EUDR-ready due diligence, US Lacey Act support, UK Timber Regulation, CARB/TSCA finishes and ISPM-15 export packing.

What is the lead time for a brass bar cabinet order?

Typical production is 30–45 days after sample approval, depending on quantity, the amount of brass work and the interior fit-out. Urgent orders can be accommodated at a premium. We ship FOB or CIF from Mundra or Nhava Sheva.
