Working with a custom furniture manufacturer — the export process, start to container.
Ordering bespoke furniture from India should not feel like a leap of faith. This is exactly how a sample becomes an approved product, and an approved product becomes a compliant, well-packed container at your port — with MOQ, Incoterms, lead times and packaging spelled out before you commit.
Your design, our factory network, one accountable export partner.
We manufacture to specification — your drawings, finishes, dimensions and brand — across solid-wood furniture, wood-and-iron pieces, marble and stone, and handcrafted décor. Behind the quote sits our own factory plus a vetted Jodhpur, Moradabad, Saharanpur and Jaipur manufacturing network, which means a single trial order and a repeat container programme are handled by the same QC-governed process. Whether you need an ODM piece lightly adapted or a ground-up OEM product, the steps below are the same.
From enquiry to delivered container in seven steps.
Brief & feasibility
Send a drawing, photo, sketch or physical reference with your target market, quantity and timeline. We confirm what is buildable, recommend wood and construction, and flag anything that affects cost, strength or compliance before you spend a rupee.
Quote on FOB / CIF
You receive a priced quote against your chosen Incoterms, with MOQ, lead time and packing options stated. Pricing is RFQ-based and cost-advantaged — quoted in USD, EUR or GBP as you prefer — never a published list.
Sampling & prototyping
We produce a paid sample or CNC prototype so you approve wood, finish, joinery and dimensions on a real piece. Samples can ship LCL. Nothing goes to bulk until the sample is signed off.
Order confirmation
On approval and deposit, we lock the specification sheet, finishes and tolerances, book your production slot and target a container sailing. Private-label artwork and packaging are finalised here.
Production & QC
Your order is built across the network over a typical 30–45 day lead time, with in-line and pre-shipment quality checks on every piece. Third-party inspection (SGS-style) can be arranged on request.
Export packing
Pieces are packed assembled or flat-pack, ISPM-15 heat-treated, corner-protected and palletised. Retail-ready, FBA-ready or branded packaging is applied for sellers shipping straight to shelf.
Documentation & sailing
We load and ship from Mundra or Nhava Sheva with full export and timber-legality documentation — so your container clears customs cleanly while others wait at the port.
A physical sample is the fastest way to turn a drawing into a confident order.

ODM, OEM and CNC — how far your customisation can go.
Adapt our designs (ODM)
Start from a proven catalogue piece and change size, wood, finish, hardware or detailing. The fastest, lowest-risk route to a saleable custom range, because the engineering is already solved.
Build to your drawings (OEM)
Send CAD, technical drawings or a sample and we manufacture to your exact dimensions, tolerances and finishes — then pack it under your brand. True private-label production for retailers and OEM brands.
Custom CNC & craft
CNC carving and machining for repeatable precision, combined with genuine Jodhpur hand-craft — in solid wood with metal, marble, leather, cane, bone inlay or brass. Any material with a solid-wood heart.
Custom does not mean cutting corners on paperwork.
Every custom order is documented for legal, deforestation-free import. We carry FSC chain-of-custody and Vriksh timber-legality, handle Dalbergia sissoo (sheesham) in a CITES-compliant way, and are EUDR-ready with geolocation and due diligence. For your market we support US Lacey Act declarations, the UK Timber Regulation, and CARB / TSCA formaldehyde-compliant finishes, with SEDEX / SMETA social audit and ISO and SGS quality behind it. Certificate numbers are shared directly with serious buyers — never published, to prevent misuse.

Custom furniture export — frequently asked questions.
How do I start a custom furniture order as an importer?
Send your drawing, photo, sketch or a reference piece, plus your target market and quantity. We confirm feasibility, quote FOB or CIF, and recommend wood, finish and construction. You approve a paid sample before any bulk production begins — so you buy against a physical piece, never a promise.
What is the minimum order quantity for custom furniture?
A sample or trial order can ship LCL (part-container) so you can test the market first. For best wholesale pricing thereafter, one 20ft full container load (FCL) is our standard minimum. You can mix categories — furniture, metalware and décor — inside a single container to reach that volume.
What are the lead times for a custom furniture export order?
Typical production is 30 to 45 days after sample approval and deposit, before packing and sailing. Sampling adds roughly one to three weeks up front depending on carving and finish complexity. Urgent orders can be expedited at a premium; we confirm firm dates against your container booking.
Which Incoterms and ports do you ship on?
We quote FOB or CIF, loading from Mundra or Nhava Sheva in India. We have no overseas warehouse, so goods ship direct from the factory network to your port. Flat-pack and knockdown construction maximise container density and cut your landed cost per unit.
How is custom furniture packed for export?
Export packing is ISPM-15 heat-treated for timber-legal entry, with corner protection, moisture control and palletising as needed. We offer assembled or knockdown/flat-pack, plus custom, retail-ready, Amazon-FBA-ready and branded or gift packaging for sellers who ship straight to the shelf or customer.
Can you make furniture to my own drawings and brand it?
Yes. We are an OEM and private-label manufacturer as well as an ODM house. We build to your drawings, finishes, dimensions and tolerances using custom CNC carving and machining, and we pack it under your label — so the finished range reads as yours, not ours.
