Reclaimed wood trunks with a history buyers can see.
Storage trunks built from salvaged old timber — weathered grain, iron strapping and a genuine patina that no stain can copy. Manufactured for importers, retailers and hospitality buyers who want the vintage, deforestation-free hero of the trunk category from one compliant, container-ready source.
Old timber, rebuilt into a box that looks collected, not manufactured.
A reclaimed trunk is built from solid wood that has already lived a life — salvaged from dismantled buildings, old doors, boat timber and retired furniture, most often weathered sheesham, teak and mango. We de-nail and sort the planks, kiln-dry them to export moisture levels, and rebuild them into a sturdy trunk carcass that keeps every mark of its past: silvered and honey-toned grain, old saw cuts, filled nail holes and a depth of patina that factory finishing simply cannot fake. That authenticity is the whole point — it is why a reclaimed trunk reads as travelled and genuine on a retail floor or in a hotel room, and why it carries a higher margin than a plain new-wood box.
The case for reclaimed, in three lines.
A look that can't be copied
Each plank carries its own weathering, so every trunk is one of a kind. Buyers get the authentic vintage character that drives sell-through — not a printed grain or a uniform stain pretending to be age.
Deforestation-free by nature
The timber is salvaged, not freshly felled, so there is no new logging footprint. For buyers answering sustainability questions from their own customers, it is the easiest story in the catalogue to stand behind.
Solid and hard-wearing
Reclaimed hardwood has already seasoned for decades, so it is dense, stable and built to take daily handling — ideal for a piece people sit on, stack and open every day.

Varied by design, controlled by process.
Reclaimed wood is naturally inconsistent, and that variation is exactly what buyers pay for. We keep it sellable by grading planks before build, locking a tone and distress level against an approved sample, and QC-checking every unit so the whole shipment reads as one cohesive collection rather than a random assortment. You get authentic character within a band your photography and shelves can present as a single range.
Built to arrive, and to last.
Reclaimed trunks are kiln-dried to export moisture levels and finished to resist everyday handling. Advise your customers to keep trunks out of direct heat and damp, wipe with a dry or lightly oiled cloth, and refresh wax or natural-oil finishes occasionally. Iron and brass fittings need only a dry wipe. For shipment, every trunk is ISPM-15 heat-treated-packed and corner-protected, and flat-pack options cut breakage further.
The easiest timber-legal story you can tell.
Salvaged wood carries no new logging footprint, which makes reclaimed trunks our most straightforward line for the deforestation-free declarations EU and US rules now demand. Where recovered sheesham is in the mix, we add CITES-compliant handling. We document the chain before you ask, so your container moves while others wait at the port.

What buyers ask before they order.
What is a reclaimed wood trunk made from?
It is a storage trunk built from old, salvaged solid wood — typically weathered sheesham, teak, mango and old building timber recovered from dismantled structures, doors and beams. The planks are de-nailed, kiln-dried to export moisture levels and rebuilt into the trunk carcass, so each piece keeps its naturally aged grain, patina and occasional nail marks rather than a printed or stained imitation.
Are reclaimed wood trunks sustainable and deforestation-free?
Yes. Because the timber is salvaged rather than freshly felled, reclaimed trunks carry no new logging footprint, which makes them our most straightforward line for deforestation-free sourcing. We document FSC chain-of-custody and EUDR-ready due diligence, and where recovered sheesham is used we apply CITES-compliant handling.
Can you match a consistent look across a large reclaimed trunk order?
Reclaimed wood is naturally varied, so no two trunks are identical — that is the look buyers want. We control the range by grading planks, agreeing a tone and distress level from an approved sample, and QC-checking every unit so the variation stays within a band your shelves and photography can present as one cohesive collection.
What sizes and styles of reclaimed trunk do you export?
Common export styles are flat-lid coffee-table trunks, end-of-bed blanket boxes, steamer and campaign trunks, hall trunks and graduated nesting sets of two or three. Typical sizes run from about 60 cm hall trunks up to 120 cm coffee trunks, and every dimension, lining and fitting is made to order.
What is the minimum order and lead time for reclaimed trunks?
A trial or sample order can ship LCL so you approve the wood and finish first. For best wholesale pricing thereafter, one 20ft full container load is our standard minimum, and reclaimed trunks consolidate well with other furniture and décor in a mixed container. Typical lead time is 30–45 days from sample approval.
Can reclaimed trunks be supplied flat-pack and private-labelled?
Yes. We supply assembled or knockdown / flat-pack trunks to cut freight and breakage, and we build to your drawings as OEM — custom sizes, linings, hinges, iron or brass hardware, branded fittings and retail-ready or Amazon-FBA packaging.
Send your sizes and styles — we'll quote the container.
Tell us the finishes, hardware and quantities you need, or share a reference piece. We'll sample it in salvaged wood, cost it FOB or CIF, and ship it timber-legal and ISPM-15 packed.
