The bedside piece that sells in twos

A brass nightstand lifts a bedroom — and margins up because it reads as premium.

The nightstand is the most-touched piece in any bedroom: a surface for a lamp and a glass of water, a drawer for the things you reach for in the dark. Brass gives that small, high-visibility piece the one thing a laminate box never will — real warmth, a glow that catches lamplight, and pulls and legs that feel solid in the hand. It is what a designer specifies to finish a bed wall, what a hotel buys by the hundred for guest rooms, and what a retailer margins up because the metal signals quality the moment the carton is opened. We build it honestly: brass does the visible metalwork, a solid-wood carcass carries the drawers and the load, and the whole thing is graded to ship as a matched pair. Choose a ready design from our catalogue or hand us your own.

How a brass nightstand is built

Brass on the outside, solid wood doing the work.

Brass appears on a nightstand in several ways — and each changes the price, the weight and the look. Because a bedside table is opened and closed thousands of times and carries a lamp's weight on top, we match the construction to how you sell and ship it, and to the wear a guest room or a retail life demands.

Cast & tubular brass frames

Sand-cast or spun tubular legs and a brass gallery carry the visible metal, with a sheesham or mango carcass and drawer boxes inside taking the load — the heaviest, most luxe build, ideal as a statement bedside piece.

Brass pulls, trim & caps on wood

Polished brass drawer pulls, edge trim, inlay and corner caps lift a carved solid-wood nightstand — lighter to ship, lower material cost, and an easy upsell across a bedroom range.

Sheet-clad & mixed metal

Brass sheet wrapped over a wood-cored body, or brass paired with powder-coated wrought iron legs, for a contemporary look that can ship knock-down to raise container density.

Whatever the build, every nightstand carries at least one solid-wood component, so the drawers run true and the top survives daily use and ocean freight alike. Read how the metal itself behaves — composition, finishes and care — on our brass material guide, or see the full range of bedside tables on the nightstands hub.

Finishes & pairings

One metal, many looks — matched to your sample before we cut a container.

Polished, brushed or antique

A mirror polish for a bright, luxe bedside; a brushed satin that hides fingerprints on pulls and tops; or a chemically aged antique tone that reads consistent across a matched pair from day one.

Lacquered & plated

Clear lacquer seals the brass against tarnish and skin oils from nightly handling, while nickel, chrome, black or gunmetal plating and powder-coat extend the palette for contract and hotel orders.

Wood & surface pairings

Pair brass with sheesham, mango, acacia or reclaimed wood carcasses, or set a marble or stone top over the drawers for a stain-resistant, upscale bedside surface.

Where it sells & how it lasts

Built for the bedroom, documented for the port.

Made for hospitality & retail

Brass is hard-wearing, corrosion-resistant and repairable, which makes a brass nightstand well suited to hotel guest rooms and suites, boutique resorts, serviced apartments and bedroom retail. Because a nightstand is opened nightly and wiped down by housekeeping, we build the drawers to run true, QC each lot for a consistent matched look, and finish the metal for the wear your setting demands. See the full range we make for hotels, restaurants and resorts.

Import-ready & easy to care for

Lacquered brass needs only a dry or barely-damp soft cloth — no abrasives or acidic cleaners that strip the seal; a living finish simply deepens, and can be polished bright and re-lacquered. On the paperwork side, the wood carcass and the container clear with FSC, Vriksh, EUDR-ready and CARB/TSCA documentation. See every certification we hold.

Questions buyers ask

Brass nightstands — wholesale & export FAQ

What is a brass nightstand made of?

Our brass nightstands pair a brass metalwork element — cast or tubular legs, a sheet-clad body, or polished pulls, trim and corner caps — with a solid-wood carcass and drawer boxes, usually in sheesham or mango. Every nightstand carries at least one solid-wood component, so the top takes a lamp, a book and a water glass night after night and survives ocean freight; we do not supply plywood-only or panel bedside tables. The brass is worked in the Moradabad metal cluster and assembled with our Jodhpur solid-wood lines.

Does the brass on a nightstand tarnish?

Bare brass develops a warm patina as copper in the alloy reacts with air and skin oils from handling pulls, and many buyers choose that living finish on purpose. Where a bright, stable look is required we apply a clear lacquer that seals the surface so it will not tarnish in normal bedroom use, while antique and brushed finishes are aged deliberately so a matched pair reads consistent from day one. For hotel housekeeping we can also plate or powder-coat the metal.

Can you supply brass nightstands as matched pairs?

Yes — bedside tables almost always sell and ship in twos, so we grade wood tone, drawer action and metal finish across a pair, and we batch left/right or mirrored builds where a design calls for it. Hospitality and private-label orders are run as consistent lots so every guest room or every carton off the shelf looks identical.

What is the minimum order for wholesale brass nightstands?

A trial or sample order can ship LCL (part-container) so you can approve the metal tone, finish, wood and drawer action before committing. For best wholesale pricing thereafter, one 20ft full container load (FCL) is our standard minimum, and we consolidate brass nightstands with beds, dressers, other furniture, décor and metalware into a single mixed container.

Can you make brass nightstands to our own design or private label?

Yes. We work as both ODM (our catalogue designs) and OEM — manufacturing to your drawings, dimensions, drawer configuration, metal finish and wood, with custom CNC carving, your branding and retail-ready, Amazon-FBA-ready or gift packaging. Send a reference image or a spec and we prototype to it before any production run.

Are your brass nightstands compliant for US and EU import?

Yes. Brass itself is a metal, but the solid-wood carcass and the wider consolidated container still have to clear — so we document FSC chain-of-custody, Vriksh timber-legality and CITES-compliant sheesham handling, with ISO, SGS and SEDEX/SMETA audits, EN 10204 MTC-style material traceability, EUDR-ready due diligence, US Lacey Act support, UK Timber Regulation, CARB/TSCA finishes and ISPM-15 export packing.
