Resin dressers — cast epoxy and solid wood, built as a bedroom statement piece.
A resin dresser is the piece a buyer photographs for the catalogue cover: a glassy, sealed river of clear or tinted epoxy flowing through real wood, framed by solid-wood drawer boxes that take years of daily use. We manufacture resin-and-wood dressers in Jodhpur — the timber legally sourced, FSC and EUDR-ready, the resin and finish built to your spec, shipped from a single trial order up to repeat container volumes.
A sealed, waterproof front that doubles as the room's artwork.
A dresser is the one bedroom surface that holds perfume, lotions, jewellery and the occasional glass of water — and it is handled every single day. Resin answers both demands at once. Cured furniture-grade epoxy sets into a hard, non-porous, glass-smooth surface that is fully waterproof, wipes clean and shrugs off the rings, spills and cosmetics that mark bare wood; the solid-wood carcass and drawer boxes behind it carry the structure and take years of opening and closing. The second reason buyers specify it is pure shelf appeal. Resin casts crystal-clear to reveal the grain beneath, or in smoked, oceanic blue, black, emerald, amber and metallic tints, so a river poured through a live-edge front, or a bold inlaid panel against a contrasting wood carcass, turns a storage piece into a statement your retail, e-commerce and hospitality customers will pay a premium for. Because every piece is built on a genuine solid-wood core, a resin dresser sits squarely inside what we make — we do not sell resin-only pieces or filled-panel substitutes.
What a resin-and-wood dresser gives your range.
| Attribute | Resin dresser characteristic |
|---|---|
| Construction | Solid-wood carcass and drawer boxes with cast epoxy on the fronts or top — never resin alone |
| Surface | Hard, non-porous, glass-smooth cured epoxy; wipes clean and resists rings, cosmetics and stains |
| Water resistance | Fully waterproof once cured — forgiving of the lotions, perfume and spills a dresser top sees |
| Clarity & colour | Casts clear to show the grain, or smoked, oceanic blue, black, emerald, amber, metallic and custom tints |
| Resin forms | River through the fronts, void-fill on a live-edge front, or an inlaid panel framed by solid wood |
| Durability | Wood carcass takes daily opening; cured resin resists scuffs and buffs out with a fine polish |
| UV behaviour | Can amber over years in strong direct sun; UV-stabilised systems specified for bright rooms |
| Weight | Heavier than plain wood where resin is poured — factored into base engineering and container loading |
| Sustainability | FSC chain-of-custody and Vriksh on the wood; reclaimed-wood fronts available; EUDR-ready |
Resin colour, clarity and pour thickness vary with every piece, which is why we recommend approving a physical resin-and-wood sample before production. Request a resin dresser sample and we will send colour, grain and finish references for your range. Double dressers, tallboys and narrow chests — resin on the fronts you want to show.
A double dresser top around 32–36 in (81–91 cm) works as a dressing surface and takes a mirror, while a tallboy stacks storage into a narrow footprint for compact rooms and hotels. Resin can run across every drawer front, highlight only the top drawer or the top surface, or fill the voids of a single live-edge front — you decide how much of the piece carries the effect. Every dimension below is a standard starting point; we build to your exact drawer count, width, depth and resin layout for contract and private-label programmes.
| Type | Drawers | Typical size (W × H × D) | Typical use |
|---|---|---|---|
| Double / horizontal dresser | 6–9 | 54–66 × 32–36 × 18 in · 137–168 × 81–91 × 46 cm | Main bedroom storage, mirror pairing, resin river across the fronts |
| Standard dresser | 5–6 | 42–54 × 32–40 × 18 in · 107–137 × 81–102 × 46 cm | Bedrooms, dressing rooms |
| Tallboy / chest of drawers | 4–7 | 30–38 × 44–54 × 18 in · 76–97 × 112–137 × 46 cm | Compact rooms, hotels, folded storage |
| Narrow chest | 3–5 | 24–30 × 30–44 × 16 in · 61–76 × 76–112 × 41 cm | Entryways, small bedrooms, apartments |
| Dresser with resin-topped surface | 6–9 + mirror option | To spec | Dressing sets, boutique hotel rooms, waterproof top |
Build options
Solid sheesham, acacia, mango or reclaimed wood carcass with a resin river through the fronts, a void-filled live-edge front, a resin-poured top, or an inlaid resin panel against a contrasting wood body. Pair with a powder-coated wrought-iron base and metal or brass pulls, add a matching mirror, and run drawers on ball-bearing, soft-close or timber runners.
Resin & finishes
Clear, smoked, oceanic blue, black, emerald, amber, metallic, pearlescent or custom-matched tints, with UV-stabilised systems for bright rooms. The wood is finished in natural oiled, waxed, sealed matt or satin lacquer, stained, limed or two-tone — all in CARB / TSCA Title VI formaldehyde-compliant formulations.
Packing & shipping
Knockdown (flat-pack / RTA) carcasses to cut freight and breakage, with resin fronts and tops crated for safe transit; carton, retail-ready, Amazon-FBA-ready or branded packaging. ISPM-15 heat-treated export packing, shipped FOB or CIF from Mundra / Nhava Sheva.
The resin is modern. The wood is fully documented.
A resin dresser is only as import-ready as the timber inside it. The solid wood in every piece carries FSC chain-of-custody on request and Vriksh timber-legality verification, with CITES-compliant handling of sheesham. We are EUDR-ready — geolocated and deforestation-free — and we provide US Lacey Act declaration support, UK Timber Regulation coverage and CARB / TSCA Title VI formaldehyde-compliant finishes, with social and quality assurance under SEDEX / SMETA, ISO and SGS inspection, and ISPM-15 heat-treated export packing. Certificate references go directly to serious buyers — never published.

Low-maintenance by design, built for years of bedroom service.
The solid-wood carcass, drawer boxes and fronts are kiln-dried to stable moisture before joinery, with mortise-and-tenon, dowelled and dovetailed joints that stay tight under daily use, and runners rated for repeated cycling so drawers glide true for years. The resin does the rest of the work on the surface. A cured epoxy front or top is non-porous and waterproof, so it needs only a wipe with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap — never abrasive pads or harsh solvents — and the sealed surface never needs re-oiling. Light scuffs buff out with a fine polish rather than a refinish. Because epoxy can amber over many years in strong, direct sunlight, keep the dresser out of prolonged sun and heat, and specify a UV-stabilised resin system for bright rooms; the solid-wood areas are protected by their lacquer or oil finish in the usual way. Resin is heavier than the wood it replaces, so our bases and carcasses are engineered for the added load, and the weight is factored into container planning. Full care and finish guidance ships with every order so your buyers give consistent advice.
Resin dresser sourcing, answered.
What is a resin dresser?
A resin dresser is a solid-wood dresser where cured casting resin — most often a furniture-grade epoxy — is combined with real wood on the fronts or top. The resin may be poured as a clear or tinted "river" through a live-edge drawer front, cast to fill the natural voids and cracks of a wood slab, or set as a pigmented or metallic panel framed by solid-wood drawer boxes. The carcass and drawers are always genuine solid wood (sheesham, acacia, mango or reclaimed wood); the resin sets into a hard, non-porous, sealed surface. We build resin dressers as wood-and-resin pieces, never as resin alone.
Is resin durable enough for a dresser that is used every day?
Yes. A fully cured epoxy surface is hard, non-porous, waterproof and resistant to the cosmetics, lotions, perfume and occasional spills a dresser top sees, which makes it well suited to bedrooms, dressing rooms and hotel rooms. The solid-wood carcass and drawer boxes carry the structural load, so the dresser takes years of daily opening. Durability depends on resin quality, correct pour thickness, full cure and a protective topcoat — all of which we control and QC on every piece before it ships.
What resin colours and effects can you make on a dresser?
Clear "water" rivers that show the wood grain beneath, plus smoked, oceanic blue, black, emerald, amber and metallic or pearlescent tints, and custom colours matched to your palette. The resin can run as a river through each drawer front, fill the live-edge voids of a single-slab front, or sit as a bold inlaid panel against a contrasting solid-wood carcass. Because resin colour, wood species and layout are all specified to your drawing, it is one of the easiest materials to build a distinctive private-label dresser range around.
Which wood do you pair with the resin, and is it import-compliant?
You choose the species — sheesham (Indian rosewood), acacia, mango or reclaimed/old wood — each giving a different grain and edge against the resin. The solid wood carries FSC chain-of-custody and Vriksh timber-legality documentation, with CITES-compliant handling of sheesham. We are EUDR-ready with geolocation and deforestation-free due diligence, and we support US Lacey Act declarations, UK Timber Regulation, and CARB / TSCA Title VI formaldehyde-compliant finishes, with ISPM-15 heat-treated export packing.
How do you care for a resin dresser top?
A cured resin top is low-maintenance by design. Wipe it with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, avoid abrasive pads and harsh solvents, and buff light scuffs with a fine polish — the sealed surface never needs re-oiling. Keep the dresser out of prolonged direct sunlight, because epoxy can amber over years in strong UV; for bright rooms we specify UV-stabilised resin systems. Full care guidance ships with every order so your buyers give consistent advice.
Can resin dressers be shipped flat-pack to lower freight?
Yes. The solid-wood carcass can be built knockdown / flat-pack / RTA to cut freight cost and transit breakage and maximise container density, while resin fronts and tops are crated and ISPM-15 packed for safe long-haul transit. Fully assembled construction is also available, and we consolidate resin dressers with nightstands, chests, mirrors and other categories into a single mixed, compliant container.
Sample the resin and grain, then ship from one container up.
Approve the resin colour, wood grain, drawer build and hardware on a physical sample, then scale from a trial order to repeat container volumes on a 30–45 day lead time — QC-governed and documented for your market. Read the full material profile on the resin furniture material guide, or compare drawer counts, woods and finishes on the solid wood dressers hub.
