Why long-term-care buyers source here

Furniture specified for frail residents, constant cleaning and years of service.

Nursing homes and long-term-care operators buy on durability, resident safety and the ability to reorder the same piece years later — not on a single showroom photo. We pair genuine Jodhpur solid-wood construction with contract-grade joinery, stable wide-based seating, rounded edges and sealed, wipe-clean finishes, then back it with the compliance paperwork your facilities, procurement and infection-control teams expect. A dayroom or resident wing specified today can be reordered identically for the next floor or the next home in the group.

Specified for long-term care

Contract-grade build and documented compliance, built in from the first sample.

Occupied resident rooms call for finishes that keep formaldehyde emissions low and tolerate daily disinfecting, plus paperwork that clears both import and facility review. We build around that from the start — CARB and TSCA Title VI-compliant finishes, FSC chain-of-custody timber, Vriksh-verified legality and ISPM-15 export packing — so your container clears customs and your furniture passes procurement and infection-control review. Solid wood also lets a worn arm or scratched top be sanded and refinished in place rather than scrapped, extending service life across the home.

Built for the realities of a care home

Why operators specify solid wood over disposable domestic lines.

Cleaning without damage

Sealed, low-sheen finishes shrug off routine disinfecting and spills, so housekeeping can wipe down every surface daily without the swelling, peeling or clouding that defeats veneered domestic furniture.

Stability for frail residents

Wide-based chairs, arm-assisted dining seating and well-balanced casegoods give residents something solid to push up from, while rounded corners reduce injury risk in tight, busy rooms.

Reorder the exact piece

Because we manufacture to your spec and keep the drawings, you can furnish a new wing or a second home years later with pieces that match — one compliant source, one consistent look across the group.

Nursing home furniture — common questions

What makes furniture suitable for a nursing home?

Nursing homes need pieces that survive daily use by frail residents, constant wipe-down cleaning and relocation between rooms. We build in solid sheesham, mango, acacia and teak with contract-grade mortise-and-tenon joinery, rounded corners, stable wide-based seating and sealed, wipe-clean finishes — specified for long-term-care service rather than for a single season of domestic use.

Can your finishes handle frequent disinfecting in a care setting?

Yes. We apply sealed, low-sheen finishes that wipe down and tolerate routine disinfecting, and we can produce furniture with CARB and TSCA Title VI formaldehyde-compliant finishes so pieces meet low-emission norms for enclosed, occupied resident rooms. Finish and cleaning specifications are documented per order and shared with your facilities team.

Can you manufacture nursing home furniture to our project specification?

Yes — we work OEM to your drawings, dimensions, finishes and branding, with custom CNC machining for resident wardrobes, bedside cabinets, dining chairs, high-back lounge seating frames and reception counters. We also supply our own ODM ranges when you want ready-proven long-term-care designs faster.

What is the minimum order for a nursing home fit-out?

A trial or sample order can ship LCL so your clinical and procurement teams approve build, stability and finish first. For best wholesale pricing thereafter, one 20ft full container load is our standard minimum, and we consolidate mixed categories — resident-room casegoods, dining, lounge seating and décor — into a single compliant container.

How long does a nursing home furniture order take to produce?

Typical lead time is 30 to 45 days from approved sample, with QC on every piece and full compliance documentation per shipment. Phased, ward-by-ward delivery and urgent timelines can be accommodated at a premium.

Which markets do you supply nursing home furniture to?

We are export-only and ship worldwide, with current buyers across the USA, Australia and the Netherlands and active expansion across the US, UK, EU, Australia and the Gulf. Furniture is quoted FOB or CIF from Mundra or Nhava Sheva and packed to ISPM-15 for export.
