Vintage wall shelves, handcrafted in Jodhpur — wholesale for importers, retailers and hospitality.
Reclaimed and solid-wood boards, hand-forged iron brackets, aged brass and distressed antique finishes — patina that looks earned, not printed. One of the most-searched shelf styles in the US and EU, built manufacturer-direct, compliance-documented and container-ready from a trial order up.
Vintage is patina, not pastiche — a shelf that carries a story on the wall.
The vintage wall shelf sells because it looks like it has lived somewhere: weathered timber, a hand-rubbed stain, worn edges and the quiet weight of hand-forged iron. It dresses a living-room wall, a boutique floor, a café counter or a hotel reading corner, and it photographs with character for catalogue and marketplace listings. We build it as a real solid-wood product — often from genuine reclaimed timber — so the age is authentic and the board can be sanded and refinished rather than discarded. That mix of aged wood and honest metalware is exactly what our Jodhpur solid-wood-and-iron workshops do best, and it is why a vintage shelf holds up to retail and commercial use instead of tiring within a season.
What goes into a shelf that ages well instead of wearing out.

Reclaimed & weathered boards
Old-wood planks with genuine patina, saw marks and colour variation — the most authentic vintage look and the deforestation-free story your buyers want to tell.
Reclaimed wood for vintage shelves
Solid sheesham, mango & acacia
Dense, close-grained hardwoods distressed and antique-stained by hand — kiln-dried and built to carry real weight, with grain that deepens as the finish ages.
Sheesham wood for vintage furniture
Hand-forged iron & aged brass
Weathered wrought-iron L-brackets, old-pipe supports and scrolled corbels with antiqued-brass rails — forged in our own metal cluster and finished to match the board.
Wrought iron for vintage bracketsEvery shelf carries at least one solid-wood component — we do not position as a plywood or particle-board supplier. More decorative vintage pieces can add bone or mother-of-pearl inlay and carved detailing; industrial-vintage variants lean on exposed pipe and black iron. One compliant craft story, several silhouettes.
One style, every wall-shelf format you stock.
Bracketed shelves
The vintage signature — a distressed solid-wood plank on exposed black iron or old-pipe brackets, built for display weight on living, kitchen and retail walls.
Corbel & carved shelves
Scrolled-iron or turned-wood corbels and hand-carved brackets under the board for a traditional, antique-furniture look with decorative support.
Leaning ladder units
Weathered ladder racks with tiered boards and zero fixings — a strong small-space and e-commerce SKU in the same aged-finish family.
Corner & tiered sets
Space-saving corner shelves and tiered sets of three that ship as one high-perceived-value SKU for retail and marketplace channels.
Every format is offered on any of our vintage woods and finishes, assembled or knock-down / flat-pack (RTA) to maximise container density. Browse the full wall-shelf range to build a coordinated program across styles.

One aged board, every channel that asks for character.
Retail, online & private label
Patinated wood and weathered iron photograph with character for marketplace and catalogue listings and read as premium on a showroom floor. We produce your range under your brand with retail-ready or Amazon-FBA-ready boxes built to survive parcel transit, hardware and instructions included, and consolidate vintage shelves with décor and other wall shelves into one container. Private-label manufacturing keeps the look yours.
Hospitality, café & contract
Vintage shelving reads as warm and established in boutique hotels, bars, cafés, reception walls and reading lounges — and because the board is genuine solid or reclaimed wood with QC on every piece, it holds up to commercial use. Built to spec and finished for the wear a floor demands, not just a shelf.
Solid wood that keeps selling after it leaves the shelf.
Because vintage shelves are solid-timber boards rather than veneered panel, they wear gracefully and can be refinished rather than replaced. We seal and finish for the destination climate and supply care guidance your customer can follow.
- Dust with a dry or barely-damp cloth; wipe spills promptly and avoid soaking the surface.
- Keep clear of direct heat and prolonged direct sun to limit movement in natural timber.
- Feed waxed and oiled finishes with occasional wood wax to deepen the patina; sealed boards need only light cleaning.
- Mount into studs or use the supplied anchors and respect the stated load on each bracket.
Genuine craft, with the paperwork importers need.
Import-ready compliance
FSC chain-of-custody, Vriksh timber-legality and CITES-compliant sheesham handling, documented per shipment, with US Lacey Act, UK Timber Regulation, CARB / TSCA finishes and ISPM-15 packing covered and ISO, SGS and SEDEX/SMETA audits behind it. Certificate numbers go to serious buyers on request. See every certification we hold.
Wood and iron, one source
Our own factory and vetted Jodhpur network run the solid-wood workshops and the metal cluster together, so the board and its brackets or corbels are made, distressed, finished and QC'd as one piece — not sourced apart and mismatched.
Trial to container scale
Fulfil from a first LCL sample to large repeat FCL volumes on a 30–45 day lead, as ODM (our catalogue) or OEM (your drawings, finish and private label) with custom CNC detailing and branded packaging.
Vintage wall shelves — wholesale & export FAQ.
What makes a wall shelf vintage style?
A vintage wall shelf earns the look through aged materials and honest wear, not a single shape. Ours pair reclaimed or solid-wood boards with hand-distressed, antique and weathered finishes, and often add hand-forged wrought-iron brackets, aged-brass rails or old pipe supports. The signatures buyers recognise are visible patina, worn edges, hand-rubbed stains, exposed metalware and an unmistakably lived-in, hand-crafted feel — the opposite of a printed-look flat-pack board.
What woods and materials do you use for vintage wall shelves?
Boards are genuine reclaimed/old wood for authentic grain and patina, or solid sheesham, mango and acacia distressed by hand — never plywood or particle board. Metalware is hand-forged wrought iron (L-brackets, pipe and scrolled corbels) and aged brass, and detailing can include bone or mother-of-pearl inlay on more decorative pieces. Every shelf carries at least one solid-wood component, which is why it survives commercial use rather than a single photoshoot.
What is the minimum order for wholesale vintage wall shelves?
A trial or sample order can ship LCL (part-container) so you can approve the wood, finish and brackets first. For best wholesale pricing thereafter, one 20ft full container load (FCL) is our standard minimum. Because these shelves are compact and flat-pack well, we consolidate them with other wall shelves, furniture, metalware and décor into one mixed container from a single compliant source.
How is the vintage, distressed look achieved?
It is built by hand, not printed. Reclaimed timber brings its own age; on new solid wood our craftsmen distress, wire-brush, hand-rub and layer stains and waxes to create depth, worn edges and patina, finished with CARB / TSCA Title VI compliant low-formaldehyde lacquers chosen for wear. Iron brackets are given a raw-black or weathered patina and brass is antiqued, so the metal reads as aged as the board.
Can you make vintage wall shelves to our own design or private label?
Yes. We work as both ODM (our catalogue designs) and OEM — manufacturing to your drawings, dimensions, finish and bracket type, with custom CNC detailing, your branding and retail-ready or Amazon-FBA-ready packaging including the hardware kit, wall plugs and fitting instructions. Send a reference image or spec and we prototype to it before you commit to a run.
Are your vintage wall shelves compliant for US and EU import?
Yes. We document FSC chain-of-custody, Vriksh timber-legality and CITES-compliant handling of sheesham, backed by ISO, SGS and SEDEX/SMETA audits. We are EUDR-ready with geolocation and deforestation-free due diligence, and we support US Lacey Act declarations, UK Timber Regulation, CARB / TSCA finishes and ISPM-15 heat-treated export packing — so your shelves clear the port instead of sitting in it.
