Resin wall shelf with a solid wood plank and a translucent blue epoxy band mounted on concealed brackets

What it is

A hardwood shelf with a poured epoxy accent

A resin wall shelf is a wall-mounted floating shelf that combines two materials: a plank of solid hardwood and a band of cured epoxy resin. We select timber with character — a live edge, a natural void, or a knotted figure — then pour pigmented epoxy into or alongside it. Once the resin cures, the shelf is sanded perfectly flat, levelled and finished, so the wood grain and the translucent resin sit in one continuous surface.

The result is a shelf that works as a display ledge and as a design feature. Light passes through tinted resin and catches the grain beside it, giving each piece the "river" look of our larger resin tables in a compact, wall-friendly format. Because the resin is poured per order, no two pieces are identical — a genuine handcrafted quality that mass-moulded shelves cannot copy.

Materials & benefits

Wood that lasts, resin that defines

Every resin wall shelf carries at least one solid-wood component — we do not supply plywood or panel shelving. The timber does the structural work; the resin does the styling.

Solid hardwood base

Sheesham (Indian rosewood), mango, acacia or reclaimed wood — dense, stable and strong enough to carry books, plants and décor without sag. Reclaimed timber adds history and a deforestation-free story.

Tinted epoxy resin

Pigmented to your reference — clear, smoke, ocean blue, emerald, amber or opaque custom shades. The cured resin is hard, non-porous and easy to wipe, polished to a clear, glass-like sheen.

Concealed mounting

A hidden steel rod or blind-bracket system lets the shelf float cleanly off the wall. Wall cleats or an exposed wrought-iron bracket are available where a visible fixing suits the look.

Use cases

Where resin wall shelves sell and specify

Retail & online resale

A high-margin, photograph-well hero product for independent stores, chains and online sellers on Wayfair, Amazon and Etsy — supplied flat-pack with FBA-ready packaging for repeat container runs.

Interior design & architecture

A statement ledge for feature walls, entryways and bars. Resin tints let designers coordinate shelves with a scheme, and OEM lets a studio commission an exclusive run.

Hospitality & contract

Reception displays, hotel-room ledges, café and bar back-walls — made in matching batches with QC-governed consistency across a property or roll-out.

Private-label brands

We manufacture "the look" under your label — your resin palette, your dimensions, your packaging and branding — from a single compliant source in Jodhpur.

Care

Looking after a resin wall shelf

Care is minimal. Dust with a soft, dry or barely-damp cloth and wipe any spills promptly — the cured resin is non-porous and the wood is sealed, so liquids do not penetrate. Avoid abrasive pads and solvent cleaners, which can scratch or cloud the epoxy, and keep the shelf out of prolonged direct sunlight, which over years can dull any resin. Mount into studs or with suitable wall anchors rated for the load. No oiling, waxing or routine maintenance is required.

Why source from us

Audited quality & ethics

ISO quality management, SGS third-party inspection and SEDEX / SMETA ethical audits back every order, with CARB / TSCA Title VI-compliant finishes and ISPM-15 heat-treated export packaging.

Trial to container scale

Start with a sample, scale to repeat 20ft containers across a vetted multi-cluster network, all under managed QC. Factory visit available on prior intimation.

Pair resin wall shelves with other categories in one compliant, container-dense shipment — single-source consolidation keeps freight and admin low.

FAQs

Resin wall shelf questions, answered

What is a resin wall shelf made of?

A resin wall shelf pairs a solid hardwood plank — sheesham, mango, acacia or reclaimed wood — with a cured epoxy resin element. The resin is poured into natural edges, voids or a central channel to form a translucent, glass-like band, then the whole shelf is sanded flat and finished. The timber gives strength and grain; the resin adds a tinted, light-catching accent.

Can you tint the resin to match our brand or collection?

Yes. Epoxy can be pigmented to almost any colour — clear, smoke, ocean blue, emerald, amber or opaque custom shades — and we match to a swatch or reference you supply. We colour the resin per order, so a collection can run in several coordinated tints without changing the wood.

What sizes do resin floating shelves come in, and are the brackets hidden?

Lengths typically run from roughly 45 cm up to 120 cm, with depth and thickness made to your spec. Standard mounting is a concealed steel rod or blind-bracket system so the shelf appears to float; a wall cleat or exposed wrought-iron bracket is available on request. All sizes and the mount type are confirmed on your drawing before production.

Are resin wall shelves suitable for resale on Amazon or Wayfair?

Yes. We supply them flat-pack where the design allows and offer retail-ready, branded, Amazon-FBA-ready and gift packaging, with QC-governed consistency across repeat container orders. Private-label and OEM runs let you sell them under your own brand.

What finishes and care does a resin wall shelf need?

The wood is sealed with CARB / TSCA Title VI-compliant low-VOC finishes in matte, satin or natural-oil sheens; the resin is polished clear. Care is simple — dust with a soft cloth, wipe spills promptly, avoid abrasive cleaners and prolonged direct sun, which can dull any epoxy over years. No routine maintenance is required.

What are the order terms for resin wall shelves?

A trial or sample order can ship LCL; thereafter a single 20ft FCL minimum earns the most competitive pricing, and mixed-category containers are supported. Typical lead time is 30–45 days, shipping FOB or CIF from Mundra or Nhava Sheva, with urgent orders available at a premium.
