What makes it reclaimed

Real salvaged timber — not new wood dressed up to look old.

Our reclaimed wall shelves start as genuine old timber rescued from decommissioned buildings, old doors and windows, railway sleepers and farm structures across North India. Each board is cleaned, de-nailed, kiln-dried to kill insects and stabilise moisture, then re-milled to a usable shelf while its weathered face, nail holes, saw marks and grain are deliberately preserved. The result is a one-of-a-kind shelf with decades of natural patina and the density of old-growth wood — a texture no freshly cut board or printed laminate can fake. Every shelf keeps at least one solid reclaimed-wood component; we never substitute plywood or particle board.

Authentic character

Weathered surfaces, tonal variation and honest marks of age — each shelf is unique, which is exactly what rustic, farmhouse, industrial and wabi-sabi ranges are built to sell.

Old-growth stability

Much of our reclaimed stock is seasoned teak and sheesham that has already moved and settled over decades, so kiln-dried and re-milled it is dense, hard-wearing and resistant to further warping.

A genuine green story

Reusing existing timber means no new tree is felled for the shelf — an inherently deforestation-free line you can market honestly, backed by documented chain-of-custody.

Formats & use cases

One sustainable material, every placement.

Floating & bracketed

Concealed-bracket floating boards for a clean modern wall, or thick reclaimed planks on hand-forged wrought-iron brackets for an industrial look — the two bestsellers of the range.

Multi-tier & pipe

Two- and three-tier reclaimed shelving and wood-and-iron pipe units for kitchens, bars and back-walls, where storage and display both matter.

Where they sell

Living rooms, kitchens and entryways at retail, plus hospitality and contract fit-outs — café and bar back-walls, hotel rooms, boutique display fixtures and reception spaces.

Deforestation-free — and provable at the border.

Reclaimed wood is the easiest timber story to defend under today's import rules, and we document it properly. Every shipment carries FSC chain-of-custody and Vriksh timber-legality records, with CITES-compliant handling where salvaged sheesham is used. We are EUDR-ready with geolocation and deforestation-free due diligence, and we support US Lacey Act declarations, UK Timber Regulation, CARB / TSCA formaldehyde norms and ISPM-15 heat-treated packing — all backed by ISO, SGS and SEDEX / SMETA audits.

Certificate numbers are shared directly with serious buyers on request. See how we handle the newest EU rules on our EUDR readiness page.

Care & handling

Built to last on the wall.

Mount reclaimed-wood shelves into studs or with wall-appropriate anchors rated for the load, keep them out of direct sun and away from heat sources to limit movement, and clean with a dry or lightly damp cloth — never soaked. A seasonal wipe of furniture oil or wax keeps oiled and waxed finishes rich, while the weathered surface is meant to show honest wear over time. We supply fixing hardware, mounting guidance and care cards with each piece, and can co-brand them for your retail channel.

Reclaimed wood wall shelves — buyer FAQs

What importers ask before ordering.

What is a reclaimed wood wall shelf made from?

It is made from genuine old timber salvaged from decommissioned buildings, doors, railway sleepers and farm structures — not new-cut wood stained to look old. We clean, de-nail, kiln-dry and re-mill each board, so you keep the authentic patina, saw marks and grain while getting a stable, insect-free shelf. Every shelf has at least one solid reclaimed-wood component; we never use plywood or particle board.

Is reclaimed wood a sustainable, deforestation-free choice?

Yes. Reclaimed wood reuses timber that already exists, so no new tree is felled for the shelf — it is inherently deforestation-free and a strong fit for sustainable retail ranges. We document chain-of-custody and are EUDR-ready, and because much reclaimed stock is old teak and sheesham, you also get dense, well-seasoned old-growth timber that new plantations rarely match.

What sizes and finishes are available for reclaimed wood wall shelves?

Floating boards typically run 400–1200 mm wide with 150–250 mm depth; bracketed and multi-tier units scale larger. Finishes range from raw-sealed and natural oil to whitewashed, weathered-grey and dark-wax tones, all using low-formaldehyde CARB / TSCA Title VI-compliant coatings. Because colour and grain vary naturally between boards, each shelf is one of a kind, and custom sizes are standard for OEM orders.

Can you supply reclaimed wood shelves flat-pack and to our own brand?

Yes. Most reclaimed-wood shelves ship knockdown / flat-pack (RTA) to cut freight and breakage and maximise container density, with assembled versions on request. We work as ODM (our catalogue designs) and OEM (your drawings, sizes, finishes and private label), including custom CNC detailing and retail-ready or Amazon-FBA-ready packaging.

What is the minimum order and lead time for reclaimed wood wall shelves?

A trial or sample order can ship LCL (part-container). For best wholesale pricing, one 20ft full container load is our standard minimum thereafter, and compact shelves consolidate easily with larger furniture and décor in one mixed container. Typical lead time is 30–45 days, with urgent orders available at a premium.

How should reclaimed wood wall shelves be installed and cared for?

Mount into studs or with wall-appropriate anchors rated for the load, keep shelves out of direct sun and away from heat sources to limit movement, and clean with a dry or lightly damp cloth — never soaked. A seasonal wipe of furniture oil or wax keeps oiled and waxed finishes rich. We supply fixing hardware, mounting guidance and care cards, and can co-brand them for your channel.
