Mango wood trunks, built from a solid hardwood that photographs and sells.
Coffee-table trunks, blanket boxes, steamer trunks and nesting sets in solid mango — a dense, sustainably sourced hardwood with a lustrous, richly varied grain. Assembled or flat-pack, container-ready, and documented timber-legal before you ask.
A genuine hardwood box — solid wood right through, not veneered particleboard.
A trunk earns its place by doing two jobs at once: closed storage and a surface to sit on or set things down. Mango makes that box honest. It is a real tropical hardwood — dense enough to survive lid-slams, stacking and years of handling — yet comes from orchard trees felled at the end of their fruiting life, so your range is solid wood and deforestation-free. The interlocked grain, with its golden, pink and darker streaks, is exactly the "collected and travelled" cue that sells trunks on a retail floor, in a hotel room or in an online listing.
Hard enough for daily use
A Janka hardness near 1,070 lbf puts mango alongside walnut and most oak — it resists dents and the knocks a storage piece takes.
Grain that merchandises
No two boards match, so every trunk looks one-of-a-kind. Natural oil and matt finishes let that character carry the shelf.
A sustainability story buyers trust
Harvested as an orchard by-product on a replant cycle — documented with FSC chain-of-custody and Vriksh timber-legality.
One wood, the full trunk range.

Your trunk, your brand, your packaging.
We build from our own catalogue (ODM) and to your drawings (OEM) — custom sizes, linings, hinges, locks and branded hardware, finished with retail-ready, Amazon-FBA-ready or gift packaging. Custom CNC and hand-carving let us match a reference piece or develop a signature mango-trunk line for your range. Mango routs and carves cleanly, so moulded lids and detailing come out crisp.
Built to arrive, and to last indoors.
Mango trunks are kiln-dried to export moisture levels and finished to resist everyday handling. Keep them indoors, out of direct heat and damp; wipe with a dry or lightly oiled cloth and refresh oiled surfaces occasionally, while iron and brass fittings need only a dry wipe. Mango is durable indoors but not naturally rot-resistant, so for a trunk that lives on a covered porch or in high humidity we would steer you to sheesham, acacia or teak instead. Every trunk is ISPM-15 heat-treated-packed and corner-protected; flat-pack cuts breakage further.
Mango trunks that clear customs cleanly.
Because mango comes from managed orchards rather than forest, it is a natural fit for today's import rules — and we document the chain before you ask, so your container moves while others wait at the port. Certificate details are shared directly with serious buyers on request, never published.

What buyers ask before they order.
Is mango wood good for a storage trunk?
Yes. Mango (Mangifera indica) is a dense tropical hardwood — around 1,070 lbf on the Janka scale, close to black walnut — so it takes the knocks, lid-slams and stacking a trunk lives through. Its interlocked, lustrous grain gives every trunk a one-of-a-kind look that merchandises well on a shelf or in a product photo, and it carves and routs cleanly for moulded lids and detailing. For indoor living, bedroom and entryway storage it is an excellent, cost-advantaged solid wood.
What sizes and styles of mango wood trunk do you make?
We build coffee-table trunks with a flat lid (roughly 90–120 cm long), end-of-bed blanket boxes, steamer and campaign trunks, compact hall trunks, and graduated nesting sets of two or three. Finishes run from natural oil and matt lacquer to distressed, antique, whitewash and hand-painted, with plain, sealed or fabric-lined interiors and hinged or removable lids. Every size, lining and fitting is made to order.
What is the minimum order and lead time for mango wood trunks?
A trial or sample order can ship LCL (part container) so you can approve the build first. For best wholesale pricing thereafter, one 20ft full container load is our standard minimum, and trunks consolidate well with other furniture and décor into a mixed container. Typical lead time is 30–45 days from sample approval, with urgent orders at a premium.
Can you make mango wood trunks as flat-pack or with our branding?
Yes. We supply assembled or knockdown / flat-pack trunks to cut freight and breakage, and we manufacture to your drawings as OEM — custom dimensions, linings, hinges, locks, leather or iron handles, private-label branding and retail-ready or Amazon-FBA packaging.
Are your mango wood trunks compliant for import into the US and EU?
Yes. Mango comes from managed fruit orchards rather than felled forest, which suits today's import rules. We document FSC chain-of-custody and Vriksh timber-legality, are EUDR-ready with geolocated deforestation-free due diligence, and support US Lacey Act declarations, UK Timber Regulation, CARB / TSCA Title VI finishes and ISPM-15 heat-treated export packing.
How should customers care for a mango wood trunk?
Keep the trunk indoors, out of direct heat and damp. Wipe with a soft, barely damp cloth and dry at once; avoid soaking and harsh chemicals. Feed oiled or waxed surfaces with wood wax a few times a year, while lacquered finishes need only dusting. Iron and brass fittings need a dry wipe. Full care guidance ships with every order.
