Teak sideboards, handcrafted in India — wholesale for importers, retailers and hospitality.
Solid teak buffets, credenzas and media consoles that hold their shape through humidity and heavy use — the one sideboard that performs in a dining room, a conservatory and a covered terrace alike. Manufacturer-direct, compliance-documented and container-ready, from a trial order up.
Teak turns a buffet into a piece you can place anywhere.
Most sideboards are built for a dry, climate-controlled dining room. A teak sideboard isn't bound by that. Teak (Tectona grandis) carries its own weather protection in the grain — natural oils and silica that repel water, resist rot and deter insects — so the same cabinet suits a dining buffet, a living-room credenza, a low media console, a conservatory, a covered patio or a hotel reception. It reads as premium on sight, with a warm golden-brown grain that commands a shelf and project premium, and it lasts the way buyers expect teak to last. Choose a ready design from our catalogue or hand us your own drawing and brand.
A long cabinet full of moving parts is exactly where teak earns its premium.
A sideboard is one of the hardest-working pieces in a home or a venue — doors swung daily, drawers loaded with linen and tableware, a top that collects spills, serving dishes and the occasional water ring. Teak answers all of it, which is why it is the wood designers specify when a buffet has to survive years of service, not just look good for a season.
Moisture & spill resistant
Teak's natural oils shrug off the condensation, ring-marks and splashes a serving surface collects, where a thirstier hardwood would stain, swell or lift its finish. Ideal for dining rooms, wet-area credenzas and humid climates.
Dimensionally stable
Low movement and minimal warping mean long doors stay square and wide drawers keep running true through seasonal humidity swings — critical on a cabinet that can be a metre and a half of continuous frontage.
Indoor or outdoor ready
The same construction serves a dining room, a conservatory or a covered terrace. Left natural, outdoor teak silvers to a soft grey patina; kept lightly oiled, it holds its golden tone — one build, many settings.
Teak also takes crisp carving and CNC detail without chipping, so fluted doors, latticed panels and statement fronts hold fine work. Read how the wood itself behaves — grain, durability, finishes and care — on our teak material guide, or compare every wood and style on the sideboards hub.
One wood, many builds — matched to your sample before we cut a container.
Buffet, credenza or media console
A full-depth dining buffet, a low living-room credenza, or a long, low media console with cable ports and ventilation — carved, clean-lined mid-century, colonial, Scandinavian or rustic, re-proportioned to suit your range.
Working storage interior
Dovetailed drawers, adjustable shelves, cutlery trays and a 2–4 door mix, with an optional marble or stone top for premium dining and reception pieces — specified to your market.
Metal & mixed detail
Pair teak with powder-coated wrought-iron bases, brass hardware, mesh doors and gallery rails for an industrial or luxe look — the solid-wood heart stays teak so the cabinet survives the floor.
For indoor pieces we apply CARB / TSCA-compliant low-emission lacquers in matt, satin, natural or oiled tones; for outdoor and wet-area credenzas we leave teak natural or lightly teak-oiled and specify corrosion-resistant fittings. Every build ships assembled or knockdown / flat-pack (RTA) for container density.
Indicative specs — every dimension, finish and interior is made to your order.
Figures below are typical ranges for reference. We manufacture to your exact drawings and market requirements, so cabinet size, carving, interior fit-out and finish are all specified at the quote stage. Teak grade varies by log; material and lot traceability is documented where applicable.

Made for retail, contract & outdoor service
Teak's durability and prestige both matter on a commercial floor, and its weather resistance opens up settings closed to other woods — resort terrace buffets, conservatory lounges, poolside service credenzas and boutique reception cabinets. We build the carcass to commercial-use expectations and QC each lot. See the full range we make for hotels, restaurants and bars.
Import-ready & easy to care for
Indoor teak needs only a wipe with a soft cloth and, for a golden tone, periodic teak-oil; outdoor teak needs occasional cleaning and silvers on its own with no finish required. Solid wood lives with humidity, so we kiln-dry to export moisture levels and seal every piece. Care-and-assembly guidance ships with each order. On the paperwork side, the timber and the container clear with FSC, Vriksh, EUDR-ready and CARB/TSCA documentation — see every certification we hold.
Teak sideboards — wholesale & export FAQ
What is a teak sideboard?
A teak sideboard is a low storage cabinet — the dining-room buffet, living-room credenza or media console — built in solid teak (Tectona grandis), with the carcass, doors, shelves and dovetailed drawers in teak. Teak is chosen because its natural oils and silica resist moisture, rot and insects, so the piece holds its shape in humid rooms, conservatories and covered terraces where thirstier hardwoods swell and warp. Freshly worked teak is a warm golden-brown; left outdoors untreated it weathers to a silver-grey patina. Every piece we build carries at least one solid-wood component — we do not supply plywood-only or panel units.
Can a teak sideboard be used outdoors or in a conservatory?
Yes — this is teak's signature advantage over sheesham, mango or painted sideboards. Its high oil and silica content lets it survive humidity, sun and salt air without a protective coating, which makes it the right wood for conservatory credenzas, covered-terrace buffets, poolside service cabinets and resort outdoor lounges. Left natural it silvers gracefully; kept lightly teak-oiled it holds its golden tone. For weather-exposed pieces we specify corrosion-resistant hardware and a drainage-friendly interior.
What are standard teak sideboard sizes and can you build to our drawings?
Common widths run roughly 120, 140, 160 and 180 cm, about 40–45 cm deep and 75–85 cm high, with 2–4 doors or a door-and-drawer mix. These are starting points, not limits — as an OEM manufacturer we re-size, re-configure and re-finish every teak sideboard to your drawings, hardware and private-label requirements, including low, long media-console proportions.
What is the minimum order for wholesale teak sideboards?
A trial or sample order can ship LCL (part-container) so you can approve the teak grade, finish and build first. For best wholesale pricing thereafter, one 20ft full container load is our standard minimum, and we consolidate teak sideboards with console tables, outdoor furniture, décor and metalware into a single mixed container.
Are your teak sideboards compliant for US and EU import?
Yes. Teak is a tropical timber that sits squarely inside the regulations tightening across your markets, so we document FSC chain-of-custody, Vriksh timber-legality and EUDR-ready due diligence with geolocation and deforestation-free sourcing records. We support US Lacey Act declarations and UK Timber Regulation, apply CARB / TSCA-compliant finishes to indoor pieces, add SEDEX/SMETA, ISO and SGS, and pack in ISPM-15 heat-treated export cartons.
Can teak sideboards ship flat-pack, and what is the lead time?
Yes — we offer knockdown / flat-pack (RTA) teak sideboards with removable legs and bolt-on tops to cut freight cost and transit breakage, as well as fully assembled pieces for contract fit-outs. Typical production is 30–45 days after sample approval, with urgent orders at a premium, shipped FOB or CIF from Mundra or Nhava Sheva.
Send a reference or your catalogue — we'll quote, sample and ship.
Tell us the style, finish, interior, quantity and market — and whether the piece is for indoor or outdoor service. We confirm the teak grade, build, fit-out, MOQ and a FOB/CIF price, produce a sample for approval, then manufacture and pack to your standard on a 30–45 day lead time.
