Avoid abrasive or acidic cleaners. Wood and metal bases are finished in low-VOC, CARB / TSCA-compliant lacquer or powder-coat to your brief. Re-sealing every year or two keeps a top stain-resistant through heavy retail and hospitality use.

Is a marble top durable enough for hotel and contract use?
Yes. Marble is dense, heat-tolerant and hard-wearing, which is why it suits hospitality lobbies, guest rooms and restaurant floors. It is porous, so we seal every top and advise coasters under glasses, because acidic drinks can etch an unsealed surface. For high-traffic contract specs we recommend a honed finish, which hides micro-wear better than a high polish.
