Concealed-bracket shelves hide a steel rod inside the board, so their capacity is limited by what the hidden pins can carry. A wrought iron floating shelf does the opposite — the forged bracket is bolted straight into the wall studs and the board rests on it, so the strength is right there in the metal. That makes this the range buyers reach for when a shelf has to carry stacked books, crockery, planters or small appliances, and the exposed black ironwork reads as deliberate industrial-farmhouse design rather than a compromise.

The iron
Brackets are hand-forged from solid flat and square bar in our Jodhpur metal shops — the same craft behind our wider wrought iron furniture range. Right-angle, triangular, pipe-and-flange and scrolled profiles are all standard, each weld dressed smooth before finishing. Iron is finished in matte-black powder-coat, antique or distressed iron, or a sealed raw look, with custom RAL colours available on OEM runs.
The wood
Boards are cut from kiln-dried solid timber — sheesham (Indian rosewood), mango, acacia, reclaimed old wood, teak or pine — so every shelf has real grain, not veneer over board. Live edges, square edges, chamfers and chunky 35–45 mm slabs are all available, finished in natural oil, wax, matte lacquer or a stain to your reference.

Installation
Each shelf ships with a drilling template, the correct bolts and spacers for the bracket, and a fitting guide. Brackets are designed to land on wall studs or masonry anchors so the rated load transfers into the wall, not the fixings alone.
Care
Wipe the powder-coated iron with a dry or barely-damp cloth — no solvents. Re-oil or re-wax oiled boards as needed; lacquered boards need only a soft cloth. Sealed finishes keep both metal and timber stable across humid shipping and dry retail interiors.

Yes. We are ODM and OEM — order from our catalogue profiles or send drawings, a reference image or a physical sample and we forge the bracket and cut the boards to your spec. What is the minimum order and lead time?
A trial or sample order can ship LCL. For best wholesale pricing thereafter, one 20ft full container load is our standard minimum, and we consolidate wrought iron shelves with other furniture, metalware and décor into a mixed container. Typical lead time is 30–45 days, quoted FOB or CIF from Mundra / Nhava Sheva.
Are the shelves export-compliant for the US and EU?
Yes. We document FSC chain-of-custody and Vriksh timber-legality on the wood, are EUDR-ready with geolocation and deforestation-free due diligence, and support US Lacey Act declarations and UK Timber Regulation. Export packing is ISPM-15 heat-treated, and the iron is packed to arrive rust-free and un-chipped.
