Coastal floating shelves, manufactured for export — whitewash, driftwood & limewash solid wood.
The light, breezy wall shelf that defines beach-house, Hamptons and nautical ranges. We make coastal floating shelves in whitewashed and driftwood-grey solid wood, with concealed brackets, moisture-ready sealing and your exact tone — import paperwork done before you ask.
Light wood, soft finish, clean line — the look buyers search for by name.
"Coastal" is a finish and a tone, not a cheaper build. We start with genuine light-grained solid wood, then take it to the bleached, sun-washed palette that beach, Hamptons and nautical interiors are built on. The board is lightly sanded or wire-brushed so the grain reads soft and airy; the edge is pared back and simple; the bracket disappears into the wall. The result is a shelf that photographs bright, sells as a lifestyle piece, and still carries real weight because it is solid timber, not veneered panel.

Rope & raw-iron accents
Jute-rope hangers and raw or black-iron brackets add the nautical detail that lifts a plain board into a themed range.
Jute & natural-fibre accentsThe coastal palette, matched to your sample.
Whitewash & soft white
A thin white wash that lets the grain show through — the brightest, most photographed coastal finish for retail and e-commerce.
Driftwood grey
Bleached, salt-aged greys on reclaimed or brushed boards for the weathered beach-house and nautical look.
Limewash & sand matte
Chalky limewash and warm sand-matte tones for a calmer, Hamptons-leaning palette that pairs with linen and rattan.
Natural bleached oil
A barely-there oiled finish that keeps the wood pale and tactile — coastal without a painted look.
All coastal finishes use CARB / TSCA-compliant low-formaldehyde coatings and are sealed for the destination climate. Pair any tone with concealed floating brackets for a clean wall line, or exposed raw-iron and rope hangers for a themed range. Sourcing for importersA bright finish that holds up in bright, humid rooms.
Coastal interiors are often the most demanding — sun, salt air and bathroom humidity all work on a shelf. Because these are solid timber boards, they wear gracefully and can be refreshed rather than replaced, and we seal every coastal finish for its destination climate.
- Dust with a dry or barely-damp cloth; wipe spills promptly and avoid soaking the board.
- Keep clear of prolonged direct sun to limit fading and movement in natural pale timber.
- In bathrooms and seaside rooms, our moisture-resistant seal and corrosion-resistant hardware do the heavy lifting.
- Fix into studs or use the supplied anchors and respect the stated load on the shelf.
Coastal floating shelves — the detail that matters for import.
What makes a floating shelf "coastal"?
The coastal look is driven by finish and wood tone, not a different build. We take light-grained solid woods — acacia, mango, reclaimed/old wood and pine — and finish them in whitewash, bleached driftwood-grey, soft limewash and sand-matte tones, with lightly sanded or wire-brushed grain and clean, pared-back edges. Concealed brackets keep the wall line simple, and jute-rope or raw-iron accents can be added for a nautical, Hamptons or beach-house range. Every coastal finish uses CARB / TSCA-compliant low-formaldehyde coatings.
Are coastal floating shelves suitable for bathrooms and humid, seaside rooms?
Yes. Because these are solid timber boards rather than veneered panel, they tolerate humidity far better than MDF or particleboard shelves, and we seal and finish them for the destination climate. For bathrooms, poolside and seaside interiors we specify moisture-resistant sealing and corrosion-resistant hardware, so the shelves hold up in the exact rooms the coastal look is sold into.
What is the minimum order for wholesale coastal floating shelves?
A trial or sample order can ship LCL (part-container). For best wholesale pricing thereafter, one 20ft full container load (FCL) is our standard minimum, and coastal shelves consolidate well into mixed-category containers alongside other furniture and décor. Flat-pack and knock-down options raise container density and cut freight per unit.
Can you match a specific whitewash or driftwood tone to our sample?
Yes. We work as both ODM (our ready coastal designs) and OEM — send a physical sample, a Pantone reference or a finished board and we match the whitewash, limewash or driftwood-grey, the grain treatment and the edge profile across the run. That includes custom CNC detailing, your logo on the product or packaging, and retail-ready, branded or Amazon-FBA-ready boxes.
Are the shelves compliant for import into the US and EU?
Yes. We document FSC chain-of-custody, Vriksh timber-legality and EUDR-ready geolocation and deforestation-free due diligence, and we support US Lacey Act declarations, UK Timber Regulation, CARB / TSCA finishes and ISPM-15 heat-treated export packing — so your coastal range clears customs cleanly.
What sizes do coastal floating shelves come in?
Lengths typically run 300–1200 mm, depths 150–250 mm and board thickness 20–40 mm, with corner, set-of-three and shallow picture-ledge variants that suit coastal styling. These are starting points — length, depth, thickness, edge and bracket are all made to your specification for container orders.
Sample one whitewash, then scale to the container.
Send a reference, a finished board or your target price and we'll quote FOB or CIF from Mundra / Nhava Sheva, with MOQ, finish options and a 30–45 day lead time. Request a sample to approve the wood, the coastal tone and the build before you commit.
