Solid teak is kiln-seasoned and moisture-balanced before we build, so desks arrive stable across climates. A sealed or oiled top wipes clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth; we advise keeping desks out of prolonged direct sun and refreshing an oiled surface periodically with teak oil to hold its golden tone — left untreated, teak can be allowed to mellow naturally. What finishes are available and are they US and EU compliant?
Natural, teak-oiled, honey, walnut and dark-chocolate tones in matte, satin or open-grain. For indoor desks we use CARB / TSCA Title VI formaldehyde-compliant adhesives and coatings so pieces clear into the US and EU without issue. Teak's own oils mean many buyers choose a light oil or wax finish that lets the grain show.
What is the minimum order and lead time for teak desks?
A sample or trial order can ship LCL (part-container). For best wholesale pricing, one 20ft full container load is our standard minimum thereafter, and desks can share a mixed container with other furniture or décor. Typical lead time is 30–45 days, with urgent orders handled at a premium.
