Rosewood takes oil, wax, matte lacquer and hand-rubbed finishes beautifully, and we apply CARB/TSCA-compliant, low-formaldehyde products that tolerate daily work. Keep the desk out of prolonged direct sun to preserve its deep colour, wipe with a soft dry or barely damp cloth, use a pad under hot drinks and lay nothing wet on the surface, and re-oil or wax hand-finished tops periodically; avoid soaking and harsh solvents.
