Solid mango wood writing desks, built for export buyers.
A warm, close-grained hardwood with real character in every board — manufactured to your sizes and finishes in Jodhpur, documented for customs, and shipped from a single trial order up to repeat container volumes.
A workhorse hardwood that still looks hand-made.
Mango (Mangifera indica) is a fast-growing tropical hardwood with a density close to that of ash and oak. It cuts and machines cleanly, holds screws and mortise-and-tenon joinery firmly, and its interlocked grain resists the splitting that undoes cheaper panel desks — which is why it carries drawers, a work surface and years of daily use without complaint.
Character grain
Warm honey-to-chocolate tones with occasional streaks of pink and green, so no two desks are identical — a genuine point of difference on a retail shelf or a product page.
Built to work
Thick solid tops, dovetailed or screwed drawer boxes and solid legs — not veneered particleboard. A sealed finish shrugs off everyday spills, laptops and coffee cups.
Responsibly sourced
Mango is a plantation tree, harvested once it stops fruiting, which makes it one of the more sustainable hardwoods to specify — and straightforward to document for import.

One desk, many channels.
A mango wood writing desk sits comfortably in a home office, a boutique hotel room, a co-working suite or a study-furniture range. We tune the size, storage and finish to the channel — a compact single-drawer desk for apartment retail, a wider executive build for contract projects, a sturdier edition for schools and libraries.
Retail & online
Flat-pack, FBA-ready editions with character-grade grain that photographs well and reviews well.
Interior designers
Custom dimensions and bespoke finishes in small, project-sized runs.
Hospitality & contract
Robust writing and desk pieces for hotel rooms, resorts and co-working floors.
Private label & OEM
Your drawings, your brand, your packaging — we are the manufacturer behind the look.
Finished to survive the shipping lane and the office.
Solid mango is kiln-seasoned and moisture-balanced before we build, so desks arrive stable across climates. A sealed top wipes clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth; we advise buyers to keep desks out of direct sun and off radiators and to refresh the surface periodically with a wood wax or oil. We supply the handling and care notes your QC and retail teams need.

Mango wood writing desks — FAQs.
Is mango wood good for a writing desk?
Yes. Mango (Mangifera indica) is a dense, close-grained hardwood that machines cleanly and takes screws and joinery well, so it holds up to daily desk use. A sealed, hand-finished solid mango top resists everyday knocks and spills, and its warm honey-to-chocolate grain gives each desk a distinct character that retails well.
What sizes and configurations do you make?
We manufacture to your spec. Common writing-desk footprints run roughly 100–140 cm wide and 50–60 cm deep at 75–78 cm working height, with single or two-drawer storage, cable ports and optional metal or hairpin legs. OEM drawings, custom dimensions and private-label finishes are welcome.
What finishes are available and are they US/EU compliant?
Natural, honey, walnut, dark-chocolate and distressed finishes in matte, satin or open-grain. We use CARB / TSCA Title VI formaldehyde-compliant adhesives and finishes so desks clear into the US and EU without issue.
What is the minimum order and lead time?
A sample or trial order can ship LCL (part-container). For best wholesale pricing, one 20ft full container load is our standard minimum thereafter, and desks can share a mixed container with other furniture or décor. Typical lead time is 30–45 days.
Can you supply mango wood desks flat-pack?
Yes. We build knockdown / flat-pack (RTA) versions that cut freight cost and transit breakage — ideal for large importers and online sellers. Assembled builds are also available where your channel needs them.
Is the mango wood sustainably and legally sourced?
Yes. Mango is a plantation hardwood harvested at the end of its fruiting life, and we document FSC chain-of-custody and Vriksh timber-legality, with EUDR-ready geolocation due diligence and US Lacey Act declaration support.
