What it is
A marble top console table is a narrow, tall table designed to sit against a wall — in an entryway, a hallway, behind a sofa, or along a hotel corridor — where the surface is seen and used at close range. The natural-stone top does the visual work: cool to the touch, subtly veined, and resistant to the scuffs a painted surface shows. The base does the structural work, which is why we build it from solid timber or solid metal rather than panel board.
Because the two halves come from different crafts, we consolidate them in one compliant container: solid-wood and iron bases from our core Jodhpur cluster, and hand-finished marble and stone tops from the Jaipur/Rajasthan stone-carving tradition. One supplier, one QC regime, one set of export papers.
Materials & properties
White, grey-veined, green, black and beige marbles, with granite and other stone on request. Natural slabs, so veining is unique per piece — we match to a swatch or your sample and record the selection for repeats. Edges honed, bevelled or bull-nosed to your spec.
Sheesham (Indian rosewood / Dalbergia sissoo) for dense, dark grain; mango and acacia for warm, lighter tones; reclaimed/old wood for character. Kiln-controlled and finished in CARB / TSCA-compliant stains, oils or lacquers.
Powder-coated steel and wrought iron for a slim, modern or industrial line — hairpin, X-frame, slab-leg and bespoke geometries. Can be mixed with a wood stretcher or shelf for a two-material look.
Every base carries at least one solid-wood or solid-metal structural component. We do not build on plywood or particleboard — read how we work our sheesham (Indian rosewood) or pair it with wrought iron.

Care & handling
Marble is a natural, porous stone. We can supply tops pre-sealed; buyers should re-seal periodically in service and wipe spills promptly, since acidic liquids can etch an unsealed surface. Clean with a soft cloth and pH-neutral cleaner — avoid vinegar, citrus and abrasive pads. The solid-wood base takes a standard furniture wax or oil refresh; the powder-coated iron base needs only a dry wipe. Because every slab is natural, minor variation in veining and tone is a feature of the material, not a defect — we document this for your listings so end customers know what to expect.

A trial or sample order can ship LCL. For best competitive pricing we ask for one 20ft FCL minimum thereafter, and you can mix consoles with other categories in the same compliant container. Typical lead time is 30–45 days.
