Resin beds — epoxy-river headboards fusing solid wood and colour.
A resin headboard turns the bed into a centrepiece: a river of clear or coloured epoxy poured between natural-edge solid-wood slabs. We cast, cure and hand-polish these headboards in Jodhpur, in international sizes, with the pour matched to your palette — shipped from a single trial order up to repeat container volumes.
Where the grain meets a river of colour.
A resin, or epoxy-river, headboard is the most dramatic thing you can put at the head of a bed. Two natural-edge solid-wood slabs are set with a channel between them, and that channel is filled with a cast pour of epoxy — clear as glass, or tinted to look like water, smoke or jewel-toned colour. The contrast is the appeal: warm timber grain on either side of a cool, luminous band that catches the light. Each pour is unique, so every headboard is a genuine one-off, which is exactly what designers and premium retail want. The wood gives warmth and structure; the resin, once cured, is a hard, non-porous, wipe-clean surface that shrugs off everyday use. It is an indoor statement material — a headboard that anchors a signature bedroom and carries a premium shelf price because the craft and the material are both visible at a glance.

Wood-and-resin, documented for every market.
A resin bed pairs a cast epoxy river with solid-wood slabs, and we document the timber for a clean customs entry. Every headboard ships with FSC chain-of-custody on request, Vriksh timber-legality verification, and EUDR-ready geolocation and deforestation-free due diligence. We provide US Lacey Act declaration support, UK Timber Regulation coverage and CARB / TSCA formaldehyde-compliant finishes, with social and quality assurance under SEDEX / SMETA, ISO and SGS inspection, and ISPM-15 heat-treated export packing. Where sheesham slabs are used, Dalbergia sissoo is handled under CITES-compliant procedures. We use quality casting epoxy, fully cured before finishing. Certificate references go directly to serious buyers — never published.

A cured surface that stays easy to live with.
Once cured, epoxy resin is a hard, non-porous surface that is one of the easiest materials to maintain: wipe it clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth, avoiding abrasive pads that could scratch the polish. The surrounding timber is kiln-dried and finished on both faces so the slab stays flat, and natural checks are stabilised before the pour. Keep the headboard out of prolonged direct sunlight, since UV can slowly amber some resins — for bright, sun-facing rooms we specify a UV-stable formulation that resists yellowing. Avoid placing the bed hard against a radiator or in the direct path of underfloor heating, which stresses any wood-and-resin composite. With this light routine a resin headboard holds its clarity and its contrast for many years. Full care and finish guidance ships with every order so your retail and hospitality customers get consistent advice.
Resin bed sourcing, answered.
What is a resin or epoxy-river bed?
It is a bed whose headboard fuses solid wood with a cast epoxy-resin channel — the "river" — poured between two natural-edge slabs. The resin can be clear, translucent, pearlescent or solid-colour, lit beautifully by the grain beside it. We cast, cure and hand-polish each headboard, so the wood provides warmth and structure while the resin adds a jewel-like band of colour unique to that piece.
What colours and effects can you pour?
We pour clear glass-like channels, translucent blues, teals and greens that mimic water, smoky greys, metallic and pearlescent tints, and solid opaque colours matched to your brief. Effects include graduated depth, suspended metallic flake and layered tones. For OEM ranges we match the resin to your palette and can develop a signature colour exclusive to your brand.
Is the resin durable and safe?
Cured epoxy is a hard, stable, non-porous surface that resists moisture and everyday knocks and wipes clean easily. We use quality casting epoxy, fully cured before finishing, and apply CARB / TSCA Title VI formaldehyde-compliant finishes to the surrounding timber. Keep the headboard out of prolonged direct sunlight, which can amber some resins over time; we advise on UV-stable formulations for bright rooms.
What sizes do you make resin beds in?
We build to international mattress standards — US Twin, Full, Queen, King and California King; UK Single, Double, King and Super King; and EU 140, 160 and 180 cm. Headboard height, slab pairing and river placement are all specifiable, and we manufacture to your exact drawing for designer and boutique-hotel projects.
What is your minimum order for resin beds?
Because each headboard is cast and polished by hand, a trial order can ship LCL so you can assess the pour and finish before committing. For best wholesale pricing thereafter, one 20ft full container load is our standard minimum, and we consolidate resin beds with matching resin tables, nightstands and other categories into a single mixed, compliance-documented container.
Can you make resin beds to our own design and brand?
Yes. We work as ODM (our catalogue designs) and OEM (your drawings, slab selection, resin colour and effect, base style, finishes and private-label or retail-ready packaging), including full-headboard river pours, accent inlays and matching resin bedroom pieces produced as a coordinated collection.
Approve the pour and finish, then ship from one container up.
Sign off the resin colour, effect and slab pairing on a physical sample, then scale from a trial order to repeat container volumes on a 30–45 day lead time — QC-governed and documented for your market. Read the full profile on the resin material guide, or compare sizes and styles on the beds hub.
