Resin bar stools — cast epoxy-and-wood seats on solid frames, built for export.

A resin seat turns an ordinary bar stool into a statement: a glassy, waterproof surface of clear or tinted epoxy poured into real wood, set on a solid-wood or wrought-iron base. We manufacture resin bar stools in Jodhpur as wood-and-resin pieces, document them for import, and ship from a single trial order up to repeat container volumes.

Why resin on a bar stool

The seat that survives a wet bar top and still turns heads.

A bar stool takes more abuse than almost any seat in a room — constant climbing on and off, dragged legs, spilt drinks and wiped-down tops. A cast epoxy seat answers the hardest part of that: once cured it is a hard, non-porous, fully waterproof surface, so a wet bar top, a knocked glass or a sticky ring wipes straight off rather than soaking into open grain. On top of that, resin is a design language. Clear "water" pours over figured wood, smoked and oceanic-blue tints, inky black, metallic shimmer — each one makes a stool read as individually crafted rather than mass-produced, which is exactly what a retail shelf or a hotel bar wants. We never cast resin on its own: every stool is built on a genuine solid-wood seat or frame, so you get the modern surface and the warmth, strength and legality of real Jodhpur joinery underneath.

Grain, tint and pour vary piece to piece — that is the appeal of a cast seat, but it means we recommend approving a physical stool first. Request a resin bar stool sample and we will send wood, colour and height references for your range, or read the full material story on our resin furniture material guide.

Heights & sizing

Counter, bar and spectator — matched to your top.

Match stool seat height to the surface it serves: allow roughly 10–12 in (25–30 cm) between the seat and the underside of the top for comfortable legroom. Every dimension below is a standard starting point — we build resin stools to your exact specification for contract projects.

Build options

Round, saddle or square seats; backless, low-back or high-back; fixed or swivel; integral footrests. Choose a full resin-river seat over a live-edge slab, a tinted edge-fill, or a resin inlay set into solid wood — on a wood or wrought-iron base.

Resin & finishes

Clear, smoked, oceanic blue, black, metallic or a custom tint matched to your palette, sealed with a protective topcoat. Exposed wood is oiled, waxed or lacquered in CARB / TSCA Title VI formaldehyde-compliant formulations for the US and EU.

Packing & shipping

Assembled or knockdown (flat-pack / RTA) to cut freight and breakage, with carton, retail-ready, Amazon-FBA-ready or branded packaging. ISPM-15 heat-treated export packing, shipped FOB or CIF from Mundra / Nhava Sheva.

Epoxy vs polyester

Which resin for a seat that gets sat on.

Epoxy resin

Our standard for seats and tops. It cures crystal-clear, bonds strongly to wood, shrinks very little and pours in thick layers, so colour and clarity hold across a seat that is handled every day. It is the hard, stable surface a bar stool needs.

Polyester resin

Cures faster and costs less, but shrinks more, can yellow and suits small decorative castings better than a load-bearing seat. We specify it only where it genuinely fits, and guide you to the system that matches your market and price point.

Import-ready compliance

The resin is modern. The wood is fully documented.

A resin bar stool is only as import-ready as the timber inside it. The solid wood in every stool carries FSC chain-of-custody and Vriksh timber-legality documentation, with CITES-compliant handling of sheesham. We are EUDR-ready — geolocated and deforestation-free — and we provide US Lacey Act declaration support, UK Timber Regulation coverage and CARB / TSCA formaldehyde-compliant finishes, with social and quality assurance under SEDEX / SMETA, ISO and SGS inspection, and ISPM-15 heat-treated export packing. We give you the paperwork, not just the claim, so your resin container clears like any other compliant load.

Care & durability

A sealed seat that stays looking new.

A cured resin seat is low-maintenance by design. Wipe it with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap; avoid abrasive pads and harsh solvents, and keep stools out of prolonged direct sunlight so the colour clarity holds over the years. The sealed surface needs no re-oiling — buff light scuffs out with a fine polish. The wood underneath is kiln-dried to stable moisture levels before joinery, so seats and frames hold firm under the heavy, repeated loading a bar demands; refresh any exposed oiled wood once or twice a year to feed the grain, and powder-coated wrought-iron frames resist scuffing in high-wear venues. Full care and finish guidance ships with every order so your retail and hospitality customers get consistent advice.

Questions buyers ask

Resin bar stool sourcing, answered.

What is a resin bar stool?

A resin bar stool pairs a cast casting resin — usually a furniture-grade epoxy — with a solid-wood seat or frame. We pour clear or tinted epoxy into live-edge wood, over a stabilised offcut, or as a seat inlay, then set that seat on a solid-wood or powder-coated wrought-iron base. The resin gives a hard, non-porous, waterproof sitting surface; the wood carries the structure and warmth. We build resin bar stools as wood-and-resin pieces, never as moulded resin alone.

Are epoxy resin bar stools durable enough for commercial bars?

Yes. A fully cured epoxy seat is hard, water-resistant and resistant to everyday stains, rings and spills, so it wipes clean on a busy bar top and shrugs off the drinks and dragging a bar stool takes. Durability comes down to resin quality, correct pour thickness, a full cure and a protective topcoat, plus a kiln-dried, properly jointed wood frame — all of which we control and QC on every stool before it ships.

What seat heights do your resin bar stools come in?

We build three standard heights: counter stools at roughly 24–26 in (61–66 cm) for 35–37 in counters, bar stools at roughly 29–31 in (74–79 cm) for 40–42 in bar tops, and spectator or extra-tall stools at 33–36 in (84–91 cm) for raised bars. We also manufacture to your exact seat height for contract and hospitality projects.

Can you make resin bar stools in custom resin colours, wood species and branding?

Yes. Resin is one of the easiest surfaces to build a private-label range around. You choose the wood — sheesham, acacia, mango or reclaimed wood — the resin tint (clear, smoked, oceanic blue, black, metallic or a custom match), the seat form, and the base in solid wood or wrought iron. We work as ODM from our designs and OEM from your drawings, with retail-ready, branded or Amazon-FBA-ready packaging.

Is the wood in your resin bar stools responsibly sourced and import-compliant?

Yes. The solid wood in every resin stool is backed by FSC chain-of-custody and Vriksh timber-legality documentation, with CITES-compliant handling of sheesham. We are EUDR-ready with geolocation and deforestation-free due diligence, and we support US Lacey Act declarations, UK Timber Regulation and CARB / TSCA formaldehyde-compliant finishes, packed to ISPM-15.

What is your minimum order and lead time for resin bar stools?

A trial or sample order can ship LCL (part-container). For best wholesale pricing thereafter, one 20ft full container load is our standard minimum, and we consolidate resin bar stools with tables, décor and other categories into a single mixed container. Typical lead time is 30–45 days, including cure and finishing, with urgent orders available at a premium.
