Live edge bar cabinets, cut from natural-edge slabs and built to export.
Natural-edge acacia, sheesham, mango and reclaimed-wood tops on solid-wood or wrought-iron bodies — kiln-dried, compliance-documented and container-ready for importers, retailers and hospitality buyers worldwide.
The tree's own edge, kept — not squared off.
A live edge bar cabinet keeps the natural, undulating contour of the slab instead of cutting it to a straight line. The result is a one-of-a-kind serving surface where the figure, grain flow and organic edge become the design. We treat it as a genuine solid-wood product: a single kiln-dried hardwood top, a real hardwood or powder-coated iron carcass, and working drinks storage below — bottle slots, stemware racks, dovetailed drawers and adjustable shelves. Stock our catalogue range, or have us build to your exact slab, body and brand.

A top that is its own showpiece
Because no two slabs are alike, every cabinet is unique — a genuine point of difference on a crowded shelf or in a boutique bar. The organic edge, book-matched figure and deep grain photograph well and justify a premium price point, which is exactly what retail and private-label buyers want from a hero piece.
Built to stay flat and stable
Wide solid slabs move, so we engineer for it: timber is kiln-dried to export moisture levels, natural checks are locked with butterfly (bow-tie) keys, and the top is attached with slotted fittings that allow seasonal movement without splitting. The body is mortise-and-tenon or welded steel — rigid enough to carry a loaded bar.
Working drinks storage
A live edge top does not mean compromised function. Below it we fit bottle dividers, stemware/glass racks, dovetailed drawers, adjustable shelves and lockable doors to order — a serving surface above, organised storage within.
Finished for a real bar surface
Tops are sealed with CARB / TSCA Title VI-compliant lacquer or natural penetrating oil, chosen to resist spills and condensation rings while keeping the wood's tactile edge. You choose the sheen — matte, satin or a protective film build for heavy hospitality use.
One natural-edge idea, built for every channel.
Finishes
Natural oil, clear matte or satin lacquer, light stain to deepen figure, and smoke or distressed treatments for a vintage read. Iron bodies are powder-coated black or bronze; brass hardware and cane-front doors available.
Formats
Tall live edge drinks cabinet, live edge sideboard bar unit, console-height bar, and a live edge bar-cart style on an iron base — each with the natural edge on the serving top and, on request, the doors.
Use cases
Statement home bars and lounges, boutique-hotel suites and back-bars, restaurant and café service stations, designer fit-outs and private-label retail ranges that need a one-of-a-kind hero SKU.

Natural-edge slabs that clear customs, not sit at the port.
Live edge bar cabinets are often cut in sheesham — a Dalbergia species under CITES scrutiny and squarely within the EU Deforestation Regulation — or in acacia and reclaimed wood. We handle the paperwork before you ask: geolocated, deforestation-free, Vriksh-verified timber with FSC chain-of-custody, Lacey Act declaration support and UK Timber Regulation coverage, documented per shipment.

How to keep a natural-edge top looking its best.
Finish & surface
Wipe spills promptly and use coasters under bottles and chilled glasses; keep the cabinet out of direct sun and off heat sources so the solid-wood slab stays stable. Oiled tops can be refreshed with a compatible penetrating oil; lacquered tops need only a soft, damp cloth. The natural edge is sealed but should not be knocked or loaded with weight.
Retail-ready documentation
Each shipment carries care guidance you can pass to your own customers, plus the compliance file your customs broker needs. Branded, retail-ready and Amazon-FBA-ready packaging is available so cabinets arrive shelf- or dropship-ready.
Live edge bar cabinet sourcing questions, answered.
What is a live edge bar cabinet?
A live edge bar cabinet is a drinks cabinet whose serving top — and sometimes its door fronts — keep the natural, uncut contour of the tree, so the organic edge of the slab is preserved and finished rather than squared off. We build the top from a single kiln-dried hardwood slab and mount it on a solid-wood or wrought-iron body with bottle, stemware and shelf storage underneath.
Which woods do you use for live edge bar cabinets?
We cut natural-edge tops from solid acacia, sheesham (Indian rosewood), mango, teak and reclaimed old wood. Acacia and sheesham carry the boldest grain and figure for a statement top; mango suits lighter, painted or two-tone ranges; reclaimed wood gives a deforestation-free character story. Every slab has a solid-wood core — we do not supply plywood or veneer-only units.
Can you make live edge bar cabinets to our own size, finish and brand?
Yes. As an ODM and OEM manufacturer we build to your drawings — slab length, thickness and edge profile, body height, storage layout, hardware and finish — and to your private-label or retail-ready packaging. We also do custom CNC detailing, hospitality back-bar sizing and branded or Amazon-FBA-ready cartons.
How do you stop a wide live edge slab from cracking or warping?
Slabs are kiln-dried to export moisture levels, then stabilised with butterfly (bow-tie) keys across any natural checks and fixed to the body with slotted fittings that let the wood move seasonally. This is standard on our live edge program and documented so your QC team can verify it before shipment.
Are your live edge bar cabinets compliant for import into the US and EU?
Yes. We document FSC chain-of-custody and Vriksh timber-legality, handle sheesham to CITES norms, and are EUDR-ready with geolocation and deforestation-free due diligence. We support US Lacey Act declarations, UK Timber Regulation, CARB / TSCA Title VI finishes and ISPM-15 heat-treated export packing.
Can live edge bar cabinets ship flat-pack to cut freight?
Often, yes. Where the design allows, the slab top and a detachable base or legs pack down to raise container density and reduce transit breakage — useful for large importers and online sellers. Fully assembled builds are available where the one-piece look is preferred.
Send a drawing or a reference — we'll quote by the container.
Request a sample to approve the slab, edge and finish, or get an FOB/CIF quote with MOQs and lead times. Compare the full material range on the bar cabinets hub, or bring your spec for a hospitality fit-out or private-label range and we'll build to it.
