Industrial accent chairs — solid wood on wrought iron, built for export.
Reclaimed and solid-wood seats on powder-coated wrought-iron frames — the loft-and-café look importers, retailers and hospitality buyers keep asking for. Manufacturer-direct, compliance-documented, and shipped knock-down to fill the container.
Honest wood, exposed iron — the piece that anchors a loft, a café or a lobby corner.
The industrial accent chair is a mixed-material seat: a solid-wood seat and back carried on a frame of wrought iron, with visible bolts, flat-bar or tubular steel and an unfussy, workshop-honest line. It is the accent buyers reach for to finish a reclaimed-and-steel scheme — a reading corner, a brewery, a hotel guest room, a home office. We build it as a genuine solid-wood product on a welded metal frame, not a particleboard shell, so it survives commercial use and reads as craft on the shelf.
Solid wood for warmth and wear. Wrought iron for strength and line.
The wood seat
Seats and backs are cut from solid sheesham (Indian rosewood), mango, acacia or reclaimed/old wood — dense hardwoods that take a knock, hold a finish and bring real grain to an otherwise hard, metallic piece. Reclaimed wood is the signature industrial choice: visible history, saw marks and colour variation, with a deforestation-free, FSC-aligned sustainability story your buyers can sell.
The iron frame
Frames are hand-welded from wrought iron — flat bar, square or round tube — then de-scaled, primed and powder-coated for a hard, even, rust-resistant surface. The metal does the structural work, so the chair stays rigid under commercial use, and the frame bolts to the seat, which is exactly what lets it ship flat.
Indicative specs — every dimension, finish and frame profile is made to your order.

One seat, every room with an industrial edge.
Cafés, bars & breweries
Steel-and-wood seating built and QC-checked for commercial wear — the backbone of the industrial-hospitality look. Accent chairs for hospitality & contract.
Lofts, lobbies & retail floors
A finishing accent for exposed-brick apartments, hotel lobbies and boutique corners — high-margin and easy to merchandise.
Home office & reading nooks
The honest-material chair that pairs with a reclaimed-wood desk and holds up to daily use at home.
Built to ship flat.
Because the iron frame bolts to the wood seat, the industrial accent chair is a natural knock-down (RTA) product — stacking more units per container, cutting breakage in transit and lowering landed cost per chair for large importers and online sellers. Assembled and part-assembled builds are available where a design or buyer prefers them. How our flat-pack and knock-down shipping works.
Keeps selling for years.
Solid wood moves with climate; a stable indoor environment and a soft dry wipe keep seats sound, while occasional wood wax protects the finish. The powder-coated iron frame needs only a dry wipe; a raw or distressed finish can be given a light oil to hold its patina. We finish wood with CARB/TSCA-compliant lacquers chosen for commercial wear and share care guidance with every order.
Paperwork your customs broker will thank you for.
Our wood-and-iron accent chairs ship with FSC chain-of-custody, Vriksh timber-legality and CITES-compliant handling of sheesham, backed by ISO, SGS and SEDEX/SMETA audits. We are EUDR-ready with geolocation and deforestation-free due diligence, and we support US Lacey Act declarations, UK Timber Regulation, CARB/TSCA finishes and ISPM-15 export packing — so your seating clears the port instead of sitting in it.

Industrial accent chairs — wholesale & export FAQ
What is an industrial accent chair made of?
An industrial accent chair pairs a solid-wood seat and back — sheesham, mango, acacia or reclaimed/old wood — with a frame of powder-coated or raw-finish wrought iron. The look is honest material and visible joinery: tubular or flat-bar steel, exposed bolts, aged timber. Every chair carries at least one solid-wood component; we do not supply plywood-only or panel seating.
Can industrial accent chairs ship knock-down to save on freight?
Yes. Because the wrought-iron frame bolts to the wood seat, most of our industrial accent chairs ship knock-down (RTA) — the single biggest lever for container density, lower breakage and cheaper freight. We also offer fully assembled and part-assembled builds where the design or buyer prefers it.
What finishes are available on the iron and the wood?
Iron is powder-coated (matt black is the volume seller), raw sealed, antique bronze, gunmetal or distressed; wood is natural, stained, dark walnut, honey or distressed, in matt or satin lacquer. All wood finishes are CARB/TSCA formaldehyde-compliant. Finish, seat wood and frame profile are all confirmed at the quote stage.
Are these chairs strong enough for café and restaurant use?
Yes. The steel frame and solid-wood seat make the industrial accent chair a natural contract piece for cafés, bars, breweries, lofts and hotel lobbies. We QC-check every chair, specify frame gauge to your load needs, and build to your market's commercial-use expectations.
What is the minimum order and lead time for industrial accent chairs?
A trial or sample order can ship LCL so you approve wood, finish and build first. For best wholesale pricing thereafter, one 20ft full container load is our standard minimum, and we consolidate with other furniture, metalware and décor into a mixed container. Typical production is 30–45 days after sample approval; urgent orders at a premium.
Can you make industrial accent chairs to our own design or brand?
Yes — we work as both ODM (our catalogue designs) and OEM, manufacturing to your drawings, dimensions, frame profile, finish and private-label branding, with retail-ready or Amazon-FBA packaging. Send a reference image or spec and we prototype to it.
Send a reference or your catalogue — we'll quote, sample and ship.
Tell us the style, quantity and market. We confirm wood species, iron finish, MOQ and a FOB/CIF price, produce a sample for approval, then manufacture and pack to your standard on a 30–45 day lead time.
