Carved wooden mandirs, handcrafted in Jodhpur for the world's buyers.
A mandir is the heart of a Hindu home — the temple where a family keeps its deities and prays each day. We manufacture that shrine as a true export product: solid sheesham and mango, hand-carved and CNC-precise, compliant for customs, and container-ready for diaspora retailers, importers and online sellers across the USA, UK, Europe, Australia and the Gulf.
The temple families pray to — built to sell on your shelves.
Mandirs are among the most searched Indian craft products in the diaspora, and the most unforgiving to make: the carving must read as devotional, not decorative, and the build must survive an ocean crossing and years of daily use. We carve them in the Jodhpur and Saharanpur traditions, in solid wood rather than veneer, and back every piece with the compliance and logistics that let a serious buyer place a repeat container order with confidence.

Solid wood, never veneer
Carved in solid sheesham (Indian rosewood) and mango — the timbers Jodhpur and Saharanpur artisans carve best. Read how we work each on the sheesham wood material page and the mango wood material page.
Finishes & accents
Teak-tone, walnut, honey and natural stains with hand-rubbed or matte-lacquer finishes, plus optional brass bells, pillars, kalash and jali inserts — all CARB / TSCA-compliant, low-emission coatings suited to enclosed homes.
Custom carving & CNC
Reproduce a specific dome, jali pattern, pillar profile or regional diaspora style with custom CNC carving plus hand-finishing — your drawings (OEM) or our ready designs (ODM), sampled before any bulk run.

Sample first
A trial order of floor, wall or tabletop mandirs ships LCL so you can approve carving, finish and build quality before committing to volume.
Flat-pack & consolidate
Most mandirs knock down into flat-pack — lower freight, less breakage — and consolidate with furniture and décor in one 20ft FCL for best pricing. See our flat-pack and knockdown approach.

Wooden mandirs — the details.
What is a mandir and what do you make?
A mandir is a home temple — a carved wooden shrine or pooja cabinet where a Hindu household keeps its deities and performs daily prayer. We manufacture the full range: freestanding floor temples, wall-mounted and corner mandirs, tabletop and cabinet-style units with drawers and doors, and dome or shikhar-topped temples, in solid sheesham and mango wood with optional brass fittings.
What wood are your mandirs made from?
Our mandirs are made from solid sheesham (Indian rosewood, Dalbergia sissoo) and mango wood, the two timbers Jodhpur and Saharanpur carvers work best. Sheesham gives dense, deeply carvable grain for temple architraves and jali screens; mango offers a lighter, cost-advantaged body for larger units. We also finish in teak-tone, walnut, honey and natural stains, with brass bells, pillars and kalash accents on request.
Can you make a custom mandir to our own design, size or brand?
Yes. We work as both ODM — producing our own ready temple designs — and OEM, manufacturing to your drawings, dimensions, carving motifs and private-label requirements. Custom CNC carving and hand-finishing let us reproduce specific domes, jali patterns, pillars or diaspora regional styles, and we sample every new design before a bulk run.
Are your sheesham mandirs compliant for US and EU import?
Yes. Sheesham (Dalbergia sissoo) is handled CITES-compliant, with Vriksh timber-legality verification and FSC chain-of-custody, and our due diligence is EUDR-ready with geolocation and deforestation-free sourcing. We support US Lacey Act declarations, UK Timber Regulation, CARB / TSCA finishes and ISPM-15 heat-treated export packing.
What is the minimum order for wooden mandirs?
A trial or sample order can ship LCL as part of a shared container. For best wholesale pricing thereafter, one 20ft full container load is our standard minimum. Mandirs knock down into flat-pack for freight efficiency and consolidate well with other furniture and décor in a mixed-category container.
How are wooden mandirs packed and shipped for export?
Most mandirs are engineered as knockdown / flat-pack to cut freight and breakage, with carved panels, domes and bases individually protected. Packing is ISPM-15 heat-treated, and we offer custom, branded, retail-ready and gift packaging for diaspora retailers and online sellers. We ship FOB or CIF from Mundra / Nhava Sheva on a 30–45 day lead time.
