Export & Logistics · Packaging

Furniture packaging for export, engineered to arrive intact and shelf-ready.

Good furniture can still arrive as a claim. We package solid-wood furniture for the realities of ocean freight — flat-pack to cut freight and breakage, ISPM-15 export packing to clear quarantine, and custom retail-ready or Amazon-FBA-ready cartons so goods move straight to your shelf or fulfilment centre.

Why packaging is a sourcing decision

Packaging decides your landed cost, your damage rate and your shelf speed.

For wood furniture crossing an ocean, the box is not an afterthought — it sets how many units fit a container, how many survive the journey, and how much handling you pay for on arrival. We treat packaging as part of the product: specified up front, matched to your channel, and documented in the packing list.

Lower freight per unit

Flat-pack and knockdown construction collapses bulky items into dense cartons, so more sellable units fit each 20ft or 40ft container — your single biggest lever on landed cost.

Fewer claims

Corner guards, foam and honeycomb inserts, moisture barriers and block-and-brace loading protect finishes and joints through port handling and weeks at sea.

Straight to shelf

Retail-ready and FBA-ready cartons — your branding, barcodes and carton counts — mean no re-boxing at your distribution centre or marketplace inbound dock.

The export packing standard

Compliant packaging, not just a sturdy box.

Timber packaging crossing borders has its own rulebook. Every pallet, crate and piece of dunnage we use is ISPM-15 heat-treated or fumigated and stamped — the condition for wood packaging to enter the US, EU, UK, Australia and the Gulf without being held or destroyed. The finishes inside meet CARB / TSCA Title VI formaldehyde norms, and the timber-legality paperwork — FSC, Vriksh, EUDR-ready, Lacey Act and UKTR — travels with the goods.

How we pack & load

From finished piece to sealed container, in five steps.

01

Spec the pack

On your quote we agree flat-pack or assembled, branding, labels and destination rules — before production, not after.

02

Protect the piece

Each item is edge-guarded, foam-wrapped and boxed in moisture-resistant, double-wall export cartons.

03

Label & palletise

Cartons are marked with your barcodes and carton counts, then strapped or ISPM-15 palletised where needed.

04

Block, brace & load

Cartons are loaded for density and stability so nothing shifts — mixed categories consolidated into one container.

05

Document & seal

A consolidated packing list plus the timber-legality and compliance file travel with the sealed container, shipped FOB or CIF from Mundra / Nhava Sheva.

Packaging FAQs

What buyers ask about export packaging.

What kind of packaging do you use for export furniture?

Every piece is wrapped and boxed for a long ocean voyage: foam edge and corner protectors, moisture-resistant film, and double-wall export cartons, strapped and palletised where needed. Timber packaging, pallets and crating are ISPM-15 heat-treated so your container clears plant-quarantine inspection on arrival.

Do you offer flat-pack or knockdown packaging?

Yes. Many ranges ship as flat-pack, knockdown (RTA) furniture with fittings and instructions included. Flat-pack lowers breakage, raises container density and reduces your per-unit freight — ideal for large importers and online sellers. Assembled packing is available where a piece can't be broken down.

Can you make retail-ready or Amazon-FBA-ready packaging?

Yes. We produce custom, retail-ready, Amazon-FBA-ready, branded and gift packaging — your logo, barcodes, FNSKU labels, polybags, care cards and master-carton counts to your marketplace or distribution-centre spec, so goods move straight to shelf or fulfilment without re-boxing.

How do you stop furniture being damaged in transit?

We protect at the piece, carton and container level — corner guards, foam and honeycomb inserts, moisture barriers and desiccant on sensitive items, then block-and-brace loading so nothing shifts at sea. Finishes are CARB/TSCA formaldehyde-compliant, and flat-pack construction removes the vulnerable joints that break in assembled freight.

Does your packaging meet import and plant-quarantine rules?

Yes. Wooden pallets, crates and dunnage are ISPM-15 heat-treated or fumigated and stamped, which is required for timber packaging entering the US, EU, UK, Australia and the Gulf. We also provide the EUDR, Lacey Act and UKTR documentation that accompanies the goods inside.

Can you consolidate mixed products into one packed container?

Yes. Furniture, metalware, marble and décor can be packed and loaded into a single mixed container, each category protected to its own requirement, with a consolidated packing list — one compliant shipment instead of several.
