Live edge wine racks, cut from natural-edge slabs and built to hold bottles.
Natural-edge acacia, sheesham, mango and reclaimed-wood slabs on powder-coated wrought-iron or solid-wood supports — kiln-dried, snug-drilled, compliance-documented and container-ready for importers, retailers and hospitality buyers worldwide.
The tree's own edge, holding the bottles.
A live edge wine rack takes a working storage piece and makes the timber the hero. Instead of a squared, machine-cut board, the body or back panel keeps the undulating contour of the tree, so the figure, grain flow and organic edge become the design while the rack still cradles wine the way the trade expects. We treat it as a genuine solid-wood product: a kiln-dried hardwood slab, snug bottle apertures or angled cradles, optional stemware rails and shelves, and iron or hardwood supports that keep the piece true under a full load. Stock our catalogue range, or have us build to your exact slab, format and brand.

Reclaimed wood for live edgeWhy a natural-edge rack sells — and how we build it to hold for years.
A rack that is its own showpiece
Because no two slabs are alike, every rack is unique — a genuine point of difference on a crowded shelf or behind a boutique bar. The organic edge, book-matched figure and deep grain photograph well and justify a premium price point, which is exactly what retail and private-label buyers want from a hero SKU that still ships compactly.
Bottles held snug, not loose
A wine rack earns its keep by the hold. We drill apertures with the grain and size them for a firm, non-rattling cradle, or angle the slots slightly so corks stay moist on horizontal storage. Iron or hardwood uprights take the structural load while slotted fixings let the slab move seasonally, so a loaded rack stays square and quiet.
Built to stay flat under load
Tiers and panels are kiln-dried to export moisture levels and natural checks are locked with butterfly (bow-tie) keys, so the slab resists splitting even when fully loaded. Welded iron frames or mortise-and-tenon joinery keep floor units rigid, and wall units carry concealed cleats and the right fixings for the bottle weight they bear.
Finished for a real bar surface
Slabs are sealed with CARB / TSCA Title VI-compliant lacquer or a natural penetrating oil, chosen to resist spills, drips and condensation rings while keeping the wood's tactile edge. You choose the sheen — matte, satin or a protective film build for heavy hospitality use — and iron supports are powder-coated against scuffs and corrosion.
One natural-edge idea, built for every channel.
Finishes
Natural oil, clear matte or satin lacquer, light stain to deepen figure, and smoke or distressed treatments for a vintage read. Iron supports are powder-coated black or bronze; brass hardware, hooks and stemware rails are available.
Formats
Wall-mount slab rack, countertop tabletop rack, freestanding floor tower, a wood-and-iron industrial unit with a reclaimed or acacia natural-edge panel, and modular bays that gang together for larger displays — many with an integrated stemware rail or shelf.
Use cases
Statement home bars and kitchens, boutique-hotel suites and lobby displays, restaurant, café and wine-bar service walls, tasting rooms and cellars, and private-label retail ranges that need a one-of-a-kind hero SKU.

Natural-edge slabs that clear customs, not sit at the port.
Live edge wine racks are often cut in sheesham — a Dalbergia species under CITES scrutiny and squarely within the EU Deforestation Regulation — or in acacia, mango and reclaimed wood. We handle the paperwork before you ask: geolocated, deforestation-free, Vriksh-verified timber with FSC chain-of-custody, Lacey Act declaration support and UK Timber Regulation coverage, documented per shipment.
| Requirement | Our standard |
|---|---|
| Timber legality | Vriksh verified · CITES-compliant sheesham |
| Sustainability | FSC chain-of-custody · reclaimed-wood lines |
| EU market | EUDR-ready · geolocation · UKTR |
| US market | Lacey Act support · CARB / TSCA finishes |
| Social audit | SEDEX / SMETA · ISO · SGS inspection |
| Export packing | ISPM-15 heat-treated · flat-pack options |
How to keep a natural-edge rack looking its best.
Finish & surface
Wipe spills and drips promptly and keep the rack out of direct sun and off heat sources so the solid-wood slab stays stable. Oiled bodies can be refreshed with a compatible penetrating oil; lacquered bodies need only a soft, damp cloth. Check wall fixings and floor-unit joints periodically, and keep bottle apertures clear so corks seat cleanly.
Retail-ready documentation
Each shipment carries care guidance you can pass to your own customers, plus the compliance file your customs broker needs. Branded, retail-ready and Amazon-FBA-ready packaging is available so racks arrive shelf- or dropship-ready, with assembly guidance for flat-pack builds.
Live edge wine rack sourcing questions, answered.
What is a live edge wine rack?
A live edge wine rack is a bottle-storage piece whose timber keeps the natural, uncut contour of the tree rather than a squared machine edge. We cut the body or back panel from a single kiln-dried hardwood slab, drill or slot it for horizontal bottle storage, and add stemware rails and shelves as needed. The organic edge becomes the design while the rack still cradles and displays wine the way the trade expects — on a wall, a countertop or a freestanding floor unit.
Which woods do you use for live edge wine racks?
We cut natural-edge bodies from solid acacia, sheesham (Indian rosewood), mango, teak and reclaimed old wood. Acacia and sheesham carry the boldest grain and figure for a statement rack; mango suits lighter and two-tone ranges; reclaimed wood gives a deforestation-free character story. Every piece has a solid-wood core — we do not supply plywood or veneer-only racks.
How do you stop a live edge wine rack slab from cracking or warping?
Slabs are kiln-dried to export moisture levels, stabilised with butterfly (bow-tie) keys across any natural checks, and mounted so the wood can move seasonally without splitting. Bottle apertures are drilled with the grain and sized for a snug, non-rattling hold, and iron or hardwood supports take the structural load. The method is standard on our live edge program and documented for your QC team.
Can you make live edge wine racks to our own size, finish and brand?
Yes. As an ODM and OEM manufacturer we build to your drawings — slab length and thickness, edge profile, bottle count and spacing, wall, countertop or floor format, stemware and shelf layout, and finish — and to your private-label or retail-ready packaging. We also do custom CNC detailing and branded or Amazon-FBA-ready cartons for online sellers.
Are your live edge wine racks compliant for import into the US and EU?
Yes. We document FSC chain-of-custody and Vriksh timber-legality, handle sheesham to CITES norms, and are EUDR-ready with geolocation and deforestation-free due diligence. We support US Lacey Act declarations, UK Timber Regulation, CARB / TSCA Title VI finishes and ISPM-15 heat-treated export packing. Certificate numbers are shared directly with serious buyers.
Do live edge wine racks ship assembled or flat-pack?
Both. Wall-mount and countertop racks ship compactly, and larger floor units knock down into slab, uprights and shelves — flat-pack / RTA builds raise container density and cut transit breakage for large importers and online sellers. Assembled racks suit hospitality and showroom delivery, and we advise the best option per market and channel.
