Live edge shoe racks — natural-edge slab shelves, no two alike.
A live edge shoe rack keeps the tree's own contour along every shelf — an organic, sculptural line that factory-straight racks can't fake. We cut slab shelves from solid mango, acacia, sheesham, teak and reclaimed wood, set them on wood or wrought-iron frames, and ship from a trial order up to repeat container volumes, documented for your market.
A practical entryway piece that reads like a slab of the tree.
The shoe rack is a high-rotation, container-filling staple — and the live edge version turns that everyday piece into something buyers can sell on character. Instead of ripping the long edge of each shelf straight, we keep the natural outer contour of the log — the organic, slightly wavy line — then clean off the bark and smooth it so the real shape of the tree runs along every tier. Because each slab carries its own grain, figure, knots and edge, no two racks are ever identical; your customer takes home individuality, not a repeated SKU. It is a look that works hard across ranges: raw and warm in a rustic or farmhouse mudroom, clean and architectural on matte-black iron legs in a modern or industrial entryway. We cut shelves from solid mango, acacia, sheesham, teak and reclaimed wood, leave natural voids raw or fill them with clear or tinted resin, and set the tiers on matching wood legs or powder-coated iron frames. It is slab craft that plays directly to our solid-wood strength in Jodhpur.

Because slabs are natural, exact edge line, grain and knot pattern vary from piece to piece — that variation is the product. Request a live-edge shoe rack sample and we will send slab-wood, frame and finish references, or photograph specific boards for your order.

Natural slabs, fully documented timber.
A live-edge shoe rack is built from solid-wood slabs, which puts it squarely inside the timber regulations tightening across your markets — so we built the documentation around them. Every rack ships with FSC chain-of-custody on request, Vriksh timber-legality verification, CITES-compliant handling of sheesham, and EUDR-ready geolocation and deforestation-free due diligence. We provide US Lacey Act declaration support, UK Timber Regulation coverage, and CARB / TSCA formaldehyde-compliant finishes, with social and quality assurance under SEDEX / SMETA, ISO and SGS inspection, and ISPM-15 heat-treated export packing. Certificate references go directly to serious buyers — never published.

A solid slab, built and finished for the entryway.
A live-edge shelf is a thick solid slab, so it is inherently robust — and the entryway is exactly where that matters, against grit, damp soles and daily knocks. We kiln-dry every slab to a stable moisture level before machining, which controls the natural movement and checking that unseasoned slabs suffer, and we seal end grain and natural voids so the shelf settles cleanly into heated or air-conditioned interiors. Oiled shelves show the grain beautifully and can be refreshed with a wipe of furniture oil once or twice a year; lacquered shelves wipe clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth and suit café, hotel and contract use. Resin-filled voids are inert and simply wipe clean. Angled tiers shed water and let shoes breathe, and wrought-iron frames are powder-coated to resist scuffing where the vacuum and the boots meet them. Full care, assembly and finish guidance ships with every flat-pack carton so your end customers get it right first time. Compare slab woods on our mango wood and reclaimed wood pages.
Live edge shoe rack sourcing, answered.
What is a live edge shoe rack?
A live edge shoe rack is an entryway rack whose shelves keep the natural, uncut outer contour of the tree along their long edge — the organic wavy line, cleaned of bark and smoothed, rather than ripped straight. Each tier is a single solid-wood slab, usually set on a wood or wrought-iron frame, so the rack carries the real grain, knots and edge of the log it came from. No two racks are identical, which is the individuality buyers are selling.
What woods and frames do you use for live edge shoe racks?
We cut live-edge slab shelves from solid mango, acacia, sheesham, teak and reclaimed wood. Mango and acacia give lively, varied grain at a value price; sheesham brings rich dark figure; reclaimed slabs add weathered character. Shelves sit on matching solid-wood legs or on powder-coated wrought-iron or hairpin frames in black, antique, satin or your specified colour, with tier count and spacing built to your drawing.
What is your minimum order for live edge shoe racks?
Because slabs are natural, a trial or sample order can ship LCL (part-container) so you can approve wood, finish and frame first. For best wholesale pricing thereafter, one 20ft full container load is our standard minimum, and we consolidate live-edge shoe racks with live-edge benches, consoles, coat racks and other entryway lines into a single mixed container.
Do you supply live edge shoe racks flat-pack?
Yes. Open-tier live-edge racks and bench units are offered as knockdown / flat-pack (RTA) — slab shelves and frame ship boxed and bolt together on arrival, which cuts freight and breakage and maximizes container density. Assembled units are available where your channel needs them.
Are your live edge shoe racks compliant for US and EU import?
Yes. A live-edge shelf is solid timber, so we document FSC chain-of-custody and Vriksh timber-legality on request, handle sheesham (Dalbergia sissoo) CITES-compliantly, and are EUDR-ready with geolocation and deforestation-free due diligence. We support US Lacey Act declarations, UK Timber Regulation, CARB / TSCA-compliant finishes and ISPM-15 heat-treated export packing.
Can you make live edge shoe racks to our own design and brand?
Yes. We work as ODM from our catalogue and as OEM to your drawings — slab wood, shelf length and thickness, edge treatment, resin fill, tier count and spacing, frame type and finish, plus private-label and retail-ready or Amazon-FBA-ready packaging. Because each slab is unique, we can photograph and reserve specific boards for a buyer's order.
Sample the slab and frame, then ship from one container up.
Approve the slab wood, finish and frame on a physical sample, then scale from a trial order to repeat container volumes on a 30–45 day lead time — QC-governed and documented for your market.
