Rosewood nesting tables — dense, dark-grained sets that stack smart and ship flat.
Solid Indian rosewood — sheesham, with Dalbergia latifolia for the top grades — cut into graduated two- and three-piece sets with deep colour and dramatic figure. Manufacturer-exporter pricing, CITES-compliant legality paperwork, and a flat-pack build that fills a container and survives the retail floor.
The richest figure you can sell, in a footprint that ships efficiently.
Nesting tables are a high-turnover accent line because they solve a real problem — flexible surfaces in small rooms — and a rosewood set lets you position that line at the premium tier. The timber is Indian rosewood / sheesham (Dalbergia sissoo), with the denser Dalbergia latifolia for the finest grades: deep brown-to-reddish tones and strong dark streaking that make each graduated top unique while the set still reads as a matched family. It is a close-grained hardwood with natural oils that resist wear and insects, so the surfaces that take the most daily contact are also the most durable you can stock. And because the set collapses to a compact stack, it is one of the most freight-efficient rosewood pieces you can load.
What rosewood gives your nesting-table program.
Hardness that lasts
Among the hardest furniture timbers — Indian rosewood around 2,400 lbf Janka, sheesham around 1,660 lbf, both well above oak. Nesting tops shrug off the rings, scuffs and knocks an accent table collects as it moves around a room.
Matched depth of figure
Deep brown-to-purple heartwood with dramatic dark streaking. We grain-match across the set so the two or three tables look deliberate, and oil or wax finishes make the figure glow — a genuinely premium look no veneer can imitate.
Carving, detail & slim legs
The density that makes rosewood hard also lets us turn slim legs, crisp edges and CNC or hand-carved detail that stay strong at a nesting table's lighter proportions — fretwork aprons, tapered legs and inlay on bespoke sets.

Rosewood legality handled before your container is booked.
Rosewood draws the sharpest scrutiny of any furniture timber at the EU and US border because Dalbergia is CITES-listed. We build the paperwork around every order — CITES-compliant sheesham handling, Vriksh timber-legality and FSC chain-of-custody, with ISO, SGS and SEDEX/SMETA behind it — so your load clears while others wait. Numbers go directly to serious buyers; we never publish them.

Finished to last, with care guidance you can pass to customers.
Our rosewood tops are kiln-dried to export moisture levels so they resist cracking and warping in dry heated or air-conditioned rooms. Rosewood takes oil, wax, matte lacquer and hand-rubbed finishes beautifully, and we apply CARB/TSCA-compliant, low-formaldehyde products that tolerate daily use. Because nesting tables move around a room, we pay particular attention to leg joints and, on flat-pack sets, to robust bolt-on fixings. Keep the set out of prolonged direct sun to preserve its deep colour, wipe with a soft dry or barely damp cloth, use coasters under hot or wet items, and re-oil or wax hand-finished tops periodically; avoid soaking and harsh solvents. Wrought-iron frames are powder-coated or lacquered against corrosion. We can supply care cards under your branding for retail or e-commerce. What buyers ask before they place the order.
What wood are your rosewood nesting tables made from?
We build rosewood nesting tables principally from Indian rosewood — sheesham, botanically Dalbergia sissoo — with the denser, darker Dalbergia latifolia used for premium grades. It is a close-grained hardwood with deep brown-to-reddish tones and dramatic dark streaking, so each table in the set carries unique figure while the graduated tops read as one coordinated family.
Do rosewood nesting tables come as a set of two or three?
Both. Our standard configurations are a two-piece or three-piece set, with each table built to a graduated width so it tucks neatly beneath the next. As an OEM manufacturer we also build four-piece sets or single accent tables to your spec, with matched grain and finish across the set.
Is rosewood CITES-controlled, and can you export the tables legally?
Yes. Dalbergia species are listed on CITES Appendix II, so rosewood must be sourced and shipped with proper legality paperwork — which is exactly what we provide. We handle sheesham on a CITES-compliant basis, backed by Vriksh timber-legality verification, FSC chain-of-custody and EUDR-ready geolocation and deforestation-free due diligence, with US Lacey Act and UK Timber Regulation support. Certificates go directly to serious buyers to keep shipments clearing cleanly.
Can rosewood nesting tables ship flat-pack to save freight?
Yes. Because nesting sets stack to a compact footprint and many of our designs use bolt-on legs or a knock-down metal frame, they ship flat-pack (RTA) exceptionally well — lower freight per set, less breakage and far higher container density. That makes them one of the most efficient rosewood lines to consolidate for importers and online sellers.
What sizes do you build rosewood nesting tables in?
A typical three-piece set runs roughly 45–65 cm tall with graduated top widths of about 35–55 cm so each table nests under the next; a two-piece set follows the same stepped logic. All dimensions, top thickness, edge profile and base are made to your spec — send a drawing or reference and we cut to it.
What is your minimum order for rosewood nesting tables?
A trial or sample set can ship LCL (part-container) so you approve the wood, finish and build first. For best wholesale pricing thereafter, one 20ft full container load is our standard minimum, and we consolidate rosewood nesting tables with coffee, side and dining tables plus décor in a single mixed container. Typical lead time is 30–45 days, quoted FOB or CIF from Mundra or Nhava Sheva.
