Marble top dining tables with a live edge — stone set on natural-edge wood.

The stone answer to a live edge table: a sealed Rajasthani marble top carried on a natural-edge sheesham, mango or acacia base. It keeps the raw, organic line buyers want from a slab, with a cool premium surface that stands up to full dining service — shipped by the container, with the import paperwork already done.

Marble, in the live-edge idiom

The drama of a slab table — with a stone surface.

A live edge table sells on one thing: the raw, organic line of the natural material. Most buyers get that line from a wood slab. This is the marble version of the same idea. We carry a sealed Rajasthani marble top on a natural-edge solid-wood base and apron that keeps the tree's own edge, and where a buyer wants the stone itself to read live-edge, we cut the marble top with a natural raw edge rather than a machined straight line. The result keeps the sculptural, one-of-a-kind character of our slab program while swapping the top for a surface that shrugs off the heat, wine rings and daily wiping that scar an oiled wood table over time. The marble is the dining surface; the natural-edge wood is the structure — and the signature. We do not supply plywood or panel look-alikes.

Natural-edge character

The solid-wood base keeps the raw organic edge of the plank, and marble tops can be cut with a natural raw edge — no two tables alike.

Premium stone surface

Cool veined marble reads genuinely high-end on a retail floor or a restaurant setting, and photographs beautifully for a product page.

Built for service

A sealed top resists heat, spills and ring-marks that mark a wood slab, so the table survives daily dining use in homes and venues.

Single-source range

Mix marble-top statement tables with wood-slab live edge tables, benches and consoles in one compliant container.

Which stone, and why

Rajasthan's own quarries, cut to your table.

White & grey marble

Bright, softly veined tops from the Makrana marble belt — the classic premium look for mid-century, farmhouse and Scandinavian ranges, polished or honed to your preference.

Green & black marble

Deeper, dramatic stone for boutique interiors and restaurant dining rooms, where the top becomes the feature of the whole setting rather than the backdrop.

Granite & sandstone

Harder, lower-maintenance stone alternatives for high-traffic hospitality and contract projects, when a venue wants maximum durability over marble's softer character.

Marble is spill-resistant and heat-tolerant, so a sealed top outlasts a wood surface under daily dining service, and natural veining means every table looks hand-selected. Because marble is porous, we seal each top before shipment and send re-seal guidance so it keeps its stain resistance in service. Bases, edges, shapes & seating

Round, rectangular or natural-edge — matched to the room and the cover count.

Dining tops sit at a standard 74–76 cm (29–30 in) height; allow roughly 60 cm of table edge per diner and keep at least 90–105 cm of clearance from the table edge to the nearest wall so chairs pull out. Every dimension below is a standard starting point; we build to your exact seat count, footprint and edge profile for contract and private-label programmes.

Natural-edge bases

Solid sheesham, mango or acacia pedestals, trestles and slab aprons that keep the raw plank edge; powder-coated wrought-iron, hairpin or geometric metal frames; antique or polished brass accents. Double-pedestal and twin-trestle bases free the leg room a long table needs.

Marble & metal finishes

Marble polished or honed and sealed, with a straight or natural raw edge; wood in natural, stained, distressed, painted or two-tone looks; metal raw, lacquered, antiqued or powder-coated — all wood and coating finishes CARB / TSCA Title VI formaldehyde-compliant.

Packing & freight

Marble crated separately with foam and corner protection; base assembled or knockdown / flat-pack (RTA) to raise container density on a bulky item and cut breakage, with carton, retail-ready, Amazon-FBA-ready or branded packaging for online sellers.

The compliance edge

The marble is the easy part — the wood is where import rules bite.

Customs scrutiny falls on the timber, not the stone. A natural-edge base is often cut from sheesham — a Dalbergia species under CITES and squarely within the EU Deforestation Regulation. We handle that before you ask: geolocated, deforestation-free, Vriksh-verified timber with FSC chain-of-custody, US Lacey Act declaration support and UK Timber Regulation coverage, documented per shipment so your container clears while others' sit at the port. Certificate references go directly to serious buyers — never published.

Care & handling note

Keep the marble beautiful, keep the base solid.

The stone top

Marble is sealed before dispatch; wipe spills promptly, avoid acidic cleaners and letting citrus, wine or vinegar pool, and use trivets under hot cookware and coasters under glasses. Re-seal the top periodically to maintain stain resistance, and keep it out of prolonged direct sun. Granite and sandstone tops are more forgiving where a buyer wants lower upkeep across a busy service area.

The natural-edge base

Bases are kiln-dried to export moisture levels and built with mortise-and-tenon or dowelled joinery that stays tight under daily loading and chair movement; wide slab aprons use slotted fixings so the wood can move without splitting. Finishes are CARB / TSCA Title VI compliant and iron frames are powder-coated against corrosion. Each shipment carries care guidance you can pass to your own customers, plus the compliance file your customs broker needs.

Frequently asked

Marble top live edge dining table sourcing questions, answered.

What is a marble top live edge dining table?

It is the stone version of a live edge table: a sealed marble top carried on a natural-edge solid-wood base or apron that keeps the raw, organic line of the plank, rather than a wood slab on a plain frame. We also cut marble tops with a natural raw edge so the stone itself reads live-edge. The marble is the dining surface; the natural-edge sheesham, mango or acacia is the structure and the signature. It gives a buyer the live-edge drama with a cool, premium stone surface that resists heat and ring-marks a wood top would show.

What marble do you use, and is it durable for daily and restaurant use?

We cut tops from Rajasthan's own quarries — bright white and grey Makrana-belt marble with natural veining, dramatic green and black marble, and harder, lower-maintenance stone such as granite and sandstone. A sealed marble top takes the hot plates, drink rings and constant wiping of a working dining table far better than an oiled slab, and its weight and sheen read premium on a retail floor or a restaurant setting. Marble is porous, so we seal every top before dispatch and send re-seal guidance; granite and sandstone are even more forgiving for high-traffic venues.

What sizes and seating do your marble top live edge tables come in?

Round tops typically run 90–120 cm (36–48 in) diameter seating 4–6, rectangular and natural-edge tops 150–220 cm (59–87 in) long seating 6–10, all at a standard 74–76 cm (29–30 in) dining height. Allow about 60 cm of table edge per diner. Because the wood base and any raw stone edge are natural, no two tables are identical. As an OEM manufacturer we build to your exact length, width, seat count and edge profile.

How do you ship a marble top without breakage, and can it go flat-pack?

Yes, it ships knockdown. The marble top is crated separately in ISPM-15 heat-treated timber with foam and corner protection, and the natural-edge wood base detaches and packs flat, so the heavy stone travels flat rather than mounted. This cuts transit breakage, raises container density on a bulky item, and lets your customer fit the top on arrival. Fully assembled tables are available where a buyer prefers delivery ready to place.

Are these tables compliant for import into the US and EU?

Yes. The solid-wood base carries FSC chain-of-custody, Vriksh timber-legality and CITES-compliant sheesham handling, with ISO, SGS and SEDEX / SMETA audits. We are EUDR-ready with geolocation and deforestation-free due diligence, and we support US Lacey Act declarations, UK Timber Regulation, CARB / TSCA finishes and ISPM-15 export packing. The marble is the easy part — we handle the timber paperwork that customs actually scrutinises.

What is the minimum order and lead time?

A trial or sample table can ship LCL so you approve the marble, wood and finish first. For best wholesale pricing thereafter, one 20ft full container load is our standard minimum, consolidated with other live edge tables, benches, consoles and categories into a single compliant container. Typical lead time is 30–45 days after sample approval; urgent orders at a premium.
