Vintage floating shelves — reclaimed solid-wood boards with real age, patina and character.
The vintage floating shelf resells on character alone — and buyers can tell real age from a sprayed-on effect. We manufacture ours from solid reclaimed wood, sheesham, mango and teak, finished with antique, distressed and smoked tones, mounted on hidden rods or aged iron, with import paperwork done before you ask.
Real age you can feel — not a printed effect on a new board.
Vintage is defined by depth of age in the timber itself: mellow patina, darkened end-grain, softened edges and the honest marks a board earns over years. We build ours from genuine solid wood — much of it reclaimed/old timber that already carries that history — so the character is structural and not a film sprayed over fresh panel. The payoff for your customer is a shelf with real weight that can be sanded and refinished rather than replaced, and a story worth telling. A concealed bracket keeps the wall line clean, so the aged timber is the whole statement.

Reclaimed & old-wood boards
Salvaged planks with genuine patina, nail holes and saw marks — the most authentic vintage look and the sustainability story buyers want to tell.
Reclaimed wood shelves
Sheesham & teak in antique stain
Dense, close-grained hardwoods that take a deep antique and smoked stain beautifully — the richer, heirloom-grade vintage look.
Sheesham wood shelves
Concealed or aged-iron mounts
Hidden rod or blind cleat for the clean look, or aged black-iron and pipe brackets for the industrial-vintage profile.
All floating-shelf stylesAntique, distressed, smoked — matched to your range.
Antique & dark aged stain
Deep, mellowed tones over the grain for the classic heirloom-vintage look that pairs with traditional and transitional interiors.
Hand-distressed & wire-brushed
Softened edges, raised grain and gentle wear applied by hand so the board reads as genuinely used, not uniformly machined.
Smoked, fumed & weathered
Cool, aged patina tones and smoked finishes for industrial-vintage and reclaimed palettes, kept warm rather than grey-flat.
Natural oil over patina
A raw oiled finish that seals and feeds reclaimed timber while letting its original age show — all low-formaldehyde CARB / TSCA coatings.
Every finish is available on any of our vintage woods and on any mount, flat-packed or assembled. Because these are solid boards, the surface can be sanded and refinished down the line rather than discarded — a longevity and sustainability argument your retail and hospitality customers value.

Solid wood that keeps its character for years.
Because vintage shelves are solid timber boards rather than veneered panel, they age gracefully and can be refinished rather than replaced. We seal and finish for the destination climate and supply care guidance your customer can follow.
- Dust with a dry or barely-damp cloth; wipe spills promptly and avoid soaking the surface.
- Keep clear of direct heat and prolonged direct sun to limit movement in natural timber.
- Refresh oiled and antique finishes periodically; sealed boards need only occasional cleaning.
- Fix into studs or use the supplied anchors and respect the stated load on each shelf.
Genuine age, with the paperwork importers need.

FSC chain-of-custody, Vriksh timber-legality and EUDR-ready due diligence — documented per shipment, with Lacey, UKTR, CARB / TSCA and ISPM-15 covered. Reclaimed-wood lines carry a genuine sustainability story.

Vintage floating shelves — the detail that matters for import.
What makes a floating shelf vintage?
A vintage floating shelf reads as genuinely old: the board shows depth of age — mellow patina, darkened grain, worn edges and small honest marks — rather than a flat new surface. We build ours from solid reclaimed/old wood, sheesham, mango, acacia or teak, then finish with antique, distressed and dark aged stains or a natural oil over existing patina. Paired with a concealed mount or an aged-iron bracket, the timber itself carries the whole vintage story.
What woods and finishes do you use for vintage floating shelves?
We work in solid reclaimed/old wood, sheesham (Indian rosewood), mango, acacia and teak — never veneered panel, so the age is real wood and not a printed effect. Signature vintage finishes are antique dark stain, hand-distressed and wire-brushed surfaces, weathered patina, smoked and fumed tones, and natural oil that lets the original grain speak — all in CARB / TSCA-compliant low-formaldehyde coatings. We also match a custom aged stain to your reference sample for container orders.
Are reclaimed-wood vintage shelves sustainable and import-compliant?
Yes. Reclaimed/old wood gives a second life to timber already harvested, which is a genuine sustainability story for your buyers, and we back every shipment with FSC chain-of-custody and Vriksh timber-legality documentation. We are EUDR-ready with geolocation and deforestation-free due diligence, and support US Lacey Act declarations, UK Timber Regulation, CARB / TSCA finishes and ISPM-15 heat-treated export packing.
Do vintage floating shelves come with brackets?
Yes. Our standard mount is a concealed steel rod or blind cleat set into the back of the board, so the wall line stays clean and the shelf appears to float. For the industrial-vintage look we also fit aged black-iron and wrought-iron brackets, pipe brackets and L-brackets. Fixings, wall plugs and fitting instructions are packed in, and the hardware kit can be private-labelled.
What sizes do you offer for vintage floating shelves?
Typical lengths run 400–1200 mm, depths 150–250 mm and board thickness 25–45 mm, with corner units and sets of three available as a single SKU. These are starting points — length, depth, thickness, edge profile, bracket and finish are all made to your drawing or physical sample for container orders.
What is the minimum order for wholesale vintage floating shelves?
A trial or sample order can ship LCL (part-container). For best wholesale pricing thereafter, one 20ft full container load (FCL) is our standard minimum. Vintage shelves flat-pack well and consolidate into a mixed container alongside other furniture and décor, so you can fill a load from a single compliant source.
Sample one finish, then scale to the container.
