Vintage coffee tables — aged-character solid wood, built new to order.

The vintage coffee table sells on feeling: a top that looks handled for decades, a base with honest wear, hardware gone soft and golden with age. We manufacture that look in Jodhpur on new, kiln-dried solid wood and reclaimed timber — hand-distressed and antique-finished to your exact reference, legally sourced, FSC and EUDR-ready, and shipped from a trial order up to repeat container volumes.

What makes the vintage look

The charm of an heirloom, with the consistency of new production.

Vintage is a visual language built from deliberate imperfection. The silhouette leans traditional — turned, reeded or tapered legs, gently bowed aprons, sometimes a lower shelf or drawer with a small aged-brass knob. The surface is where the story lives: edges softened as if a thousand hands rounded them, layered antique stains that pool darker in the grain, a wax or satin finish rubbed back to a low sheen, and controlled distressing — dents, worm-hole detail, a hint of crackle. On reclaimed timber the age is real: original saw marks, nail holes and sun-faded colour carry straight into the piece. We build this on new, kiln-dried stock so moisture is controlled, joints stay tight and every table in the run matches — the romance of an antique market find, produced to a spec you can repeat container after container.

Because distressing and patina vary by hand and by log, we recommend approving a physical table before production. Request a vintage coffee table sample and we will send finish, distressing-level and hardware references for your range, or browse builds and other looks on the coffee tables hub.

A vintage finish does not change what regulators check — the timber beneath it must be legal and the coatings low-emission. We build the documentation to match. Every vintage coffee table ships with FSC chain-of-custody on request, Vriksh timber-legality verification, and EUDR-ready geolocation and deforestation-free due diligence. Reclaimed and old-wood pieces carry their own salvage-sourcing records. We provide US Lacey Act declaration support, UK Timber Regulation coverage, and CARB / TSCA Title VI formaldehyde-compliant antique finishes, with social and quality assurance under SEDEX / SMETA, ISO and SGS inspection, and ISPM-15 heat-treated export packing. Certificate references go directly to serious buyers — never published.

Care & durability

A finish that ages gracefully, on a frame that does not loosen.

The pleasure of a vintage finish is that further wear only adds to it — small marks blend into the existing patina rather than standing out, which makes these tables forgiving in busy cafés and lounges. Wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry; avoid soaking and harsh solvents that can lift a wax finish. Waxed tops can be refreshed with a clear furniture wax once or twice a year to deepen the glow, and a touch-up kit can be supplied for retail customers. Underneath the aged look, the engineering is modern: kiln-dried solid wood, mortise-and-tenon and dowelled joinery and reinforced leg mounts hold firm through seasonal humidity swings. Distressed iron bases are sealed or powder-coated against rust, and felt pads protect floors. Full care and finish guidance ships with every order so your customers get consistent advice.

Questions buyers ask

Vintage coffee table sourcing, answered.

What makes a coffee table 'vintage' if it is newly made?

Vintage here is a design language, not an age claim. We build new tables that read as decades old: hand-distressed surfaces, softened edges, antique and layered stains, waxed or lightly crackled finishes, turned or reeded legs, and aged brass or iron hardware. You get the worn, collected-over-time look with the structural integrity, moisture control and repeatability of new, kiln-dried solid wood.

Which woods do you use for vintage coffee tables?

Mango and sheesham (Indian rosewood) take antique stains and distressing beautifully, while reclaimed and old wood give genuine age, nail holes and saw marks for the most authentic patina. We also build vintage looks on acacia and teak. Each table can combine a solid-wood top with wrought-iron or aged-brass bases for an industrial-vintage feel.

Can you match a specific vintage finish or colour to our range?

Yes. We work to a physical reference or Pantone/RAL target and build a sample for sign-off before production — antique walnut, aged honey, distressed white, ebonised, two-tone and lime-washed tones are all routine. Distressing level, from a light rubbed edge to heavy worn character, is specified per your brief so every container is consistent.

What is your minimum order for vintage coffee tables?

A trial or sample order can ship LCL (part-container). For best wholesale pricing thereafter, one 20ft full container load is our standard minimum, and we consolidate vintage coffee tables with side tables, consoles, cabinets and other categories into a single mixed container.

Do vintage finishes meet import compliance for the US and EU?

Yes. Our antique stains, waxes and lacquers are specified in CARB / TSCA Title VI formaldehyde-compliant formulations, and timber ships with FSC chain-of-custody on request, Vriksh timber-legality verification and EUDR-ready due diligence, with Lacey Act and UK Timber Regulation documentation support.

Can you supply vintage coffee tables flat-pack for lower freight?

Many vintage designs with bolt-on or screw-in legs ship knockdown (flat-pack / RTA) to cut freight and transit breakage, with retail-ready, Amazon-FBA-ready or branded packaging. Heavier one-piece plank tops ship assembled with reinforced corner protection and ISPM-15 heat-treated crating.
