Teak benches — weather-proof hardwood for garden, patio and indoor seating.
Teak is the wood buyers reach for when a bench has to live outdoors and still look premium. We manufacture teak garden, park, patio and dining benches in Jodhpur — legally sourced, FSC and EUDR-ready, finished to your spec and shipped from a single trial order up to repeat container volumes.
The one wood you can leave outdoors, year-round, and forget about.
An outdoor bench takes everything the weather delivers — sun, driving rain, frost, humidity, salt air — often with no cover at all. Most woods fail that test within a few seasons. Teak (Tectona grandis) is the exception, and it is why teak has been the default for garden and park seating for generations. It carries a high level of natural oils and silica inside the grain, which repel water, resist rot and fungal decay and deter insects — the same chemistry that keeps teak on ship decks and verandahs with no coating at all. That makes teak uniquely suited to fully exposed garden, patio and park benches where acacia or mango would swell, split or grey badly. Teak is also dimensionally stable, so mortise-and-tenon joints stay tight through humidity swings, and its warm golden-brown grain reads as genuinely premium in a hotel courtyard or on a retail floor. It is a premium timber — and outdoors, it is the one that earns the premium.

Colour, figure and exact grade vary by teak log, so we recommend approving a physical bench before production. Request a teak sample and we will send grain and finish references for your range. For the full species profile, see the teak wood material guide.

Teak benches that clear customs as cleanly as they sit.
Teak is a tropical timber, which puts it squarely inside the regulations tightening across your markets — so we built the documentation around them. Every teak bench ships with FSC chain-of-custody on request, Vriksh timber-legality verification, and EUDR-ready geolocation and deforestation-free due diligence. We provide US Lacey Act declaration support, UK Timber Regulation coverage, and CARB / TSCA formaldehyde-compliant finishes, with social and quality assurance under SEDEX / SMETA, ISO and SGS inspection, and ISPM-15 heat-treated export packing. Certificate references go directly to serious buyers — never published. Your container clears while others' sit at the port.

Finished to your brief, built to take years of weather.
Teak seats and frames are kiln-dried to stable moisture levels before joinery, so they hold firm under the heavy, repeated loading a bench demands — and teak's natural oils mean no sealing is required even in fully exposed positions. For indoor benches, wipe clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth and avoid soaking and harsh solvents. Outdoor benches can be left to weather to a silver-grey patina with nothing more than an occasional wash, or re-oiled once or twice a year to keep the warm golden tone — the choice is purely cosmetic, since teak's durability does not depend on a finish. Wrought-iron frames are powder-coated against rust and scuffing. Full care and finish guidance ships with every order so your retail and hospitality customers get consistent advice.
Teak bench sourcing, answered.
Are teak benches good for the garden and outdoors?
Teak is the benchmark wood for outdoor benches. Its naturally high oil and silica content resists water, rot, insects and fungal decay, so a teak garden, park or patio bench survives sun, rain, humidity, frost and salt air — fully exposed, year-round — without a protective finish. Left untreated it weathers to a soft silver-grey; oiled, it keeps its warm golden-brown tone.
How long does a teak bench last outdoors?
Properly built from mature teak, an outdoor bench will give decades of service. Teak's durability comes from the oils inside the grain rather than any coating, so it does not rely on re-sealing to survive weather. We kiln-dry and use mortise-and-tenon and dowelled joinery so frames stay tight through seasonal humidity and temperature swings.
What sizes of teak bench do you make?
We build garden and park benches at roughly 48–72 in (122–183 cm), backed and backless patio benches, dining benches to pair with our tables, and slimmer entryway benches. Standard seat height is 17–18 in (43–46 cm). As an OEM manufacturer we also build to your exact drawings, dimensions and finish for hospitality and contract projects.
Why are teak benches more expensive than other woods?
Teak is a premium tropical timber and its price reflects genuine outdoor performance: natural oils and silica give it weather resistance and dimensional stability that mango, acacia and sheesham cannot match in exposed conditions, plus a warm grain that reads as high-end. We advise teak where weather resistance or prestige justify the spend, and a value wood where they do not.
How do you care for a teak bench?
Indoor teak needs only a wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Outdoor teak can be left to silver naturally with an occasional wash, or re-oiled once or twice a year to keep the golden tone. Teak's natural oils mean no sealing is required even in wet, exposed positions. Full care and finish guidance ships with every order.
What is your minimum order for teak benches?
A trial or sample order can ship LCL (part-container). For best wholesale pricing thereafter, one 20ft full container load is our standard minimum, and we consolidate teak benches with teak tables, outdoor ranges, décor and other categories into a single mixed container.
Sample the wood and finish, then ship from one container up.
Approve the grain and finish on a physical sample, then scale from a trial order to repeat container volumes on a 30–45 day lead time — QC-governed and documented for your market. Read the full species profile on the teak wood material guide, or compare woods and builds on the benches hub.
