Wrought iron beds — hand-forged, powder-coated frames built to last.

A wrought iron bed does not swell, creak or go out of square — it is the most rigid, hard-wearing frame on the floor, and it ships flat. We hand-forge iron platform, scrolled, four-poster and canopy beds in Jodhpur, powder-coated to your colour and finished to your spec, from a single trial order up to repeat container volumes.

Why wrought iron for a bed

The one frame that never loosens, swells or creaks.

Every problem a timber bed can develop over time — a joint working loose, rails swelling in humidity, a slow creak under load — comes down to wood movement. A wrought iron bed sidesteps all of it. The frame is fully welded, so its junctions are permanent, and heavy-gauge solid bar carries sleeper loads with no flex and no sound, year after year, which is why iron beds are a mainstay of hotels, hostels and hard-use rentals. Jodhpur's metalworking tradition runs deep, and our forgers shape iron into everything from slim modern platforms to scrolled traditional heads, industrial flat-bar frames and tall canopy and four-poster designs for drapes. A baked-on powder-coat finish seals the steel against rust and scuffing and comes in any colour from matte black to antique bronze or white. And because the whole frame breaks down flat, it is one of the most freight-efficient beds you can ship.

Import-ready compliance

Metalware made to an audited, documented standard.

An iron bed sits outside timber regulation, but it still has to meet the quality, safety and ethical-sourcing standards your markets demand — and we document all of them. Our metalworking is covered by ISO quality management, SGS third-party inspection, and SEDEX / SMETA ethical and social audit, so your compliance team sees a verified supply chain. Powder-coat finishes are selected to meet relevant chemical-compliance requirements, and any solid-wood headboard or rail components are covered by FSC chain-of-custody, Vriksh timber-legality and EUDR-ready documentation on request. Export packing is ISPM-15 heat-treated where timber packaging is used. Certificate references go directly to serious buyers — never published.

Care & durability

Forged to outlast the room it stands in.

A wrought iron bed is about as low-maintenance as a bed gets. The welded frame cannot loosen, and the baked powder-coat shrugs off scuffs and keeps its colour, so routine care is nothing more than a wipe with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive pads and harsh solvents that could mar the coating, and in very humid or coastal settings keep the frame dry and specify our heavier anti-corrosion priming at order stage. Bolt-through rail connectors let the bed be dismantled and reassembled across house moves without weakening, and any small coating chip can be touched in with matched paint rather than refinished. Welded steel-mesh or slat supports carry the mattress evenly. Full care and finish guidance ships with every order so your retail and hospitality customers get consistent advice.

Questions buyers ask

Wrought iron bed sourcing, answered.

Are wrought iron beds strong and stable?

Very. Hand-forged iron is one of the strongest bed materials there is — the welded frame does not loosen, swell or creak the way timber joints can, and a well-built iron bed carries full sleeper loads for decades. We use heavy-gauge solid bar and tube, fully welded junctions, and bolt-through rail connectors so the frame stays rigid and silent even in demanding hospitality use.

Will a wrought iron bed rust?

Not with our finish. Every frame is shot-blasted or cleaned, primed, and powder-coated — a baked-on finish far tougher than wet paint — which seals the steel against moisture and scuffing for normal indoor and covered use. For coastal or humid markets we specify heavier anti-corrosion priming. The result is a hard-wearing, chip-resistant surface that keeps its colour for years.

What styles of iron bed do you export?

We hand-forge a wide range: slim modern platform frames, scrolled and traditional heads and footboards, four-poster and canopy frames for drapes, and industrial flat-bar designs. Finishes run from matte black and antique bronze to white and custom powder-coat colours, so the same frame suits boho, farmhouse, industrial or classic interiors.

What bed sizes do you make in wrought iron?

We build US twin to king, UK single to super-king and EU 90–180 cm widths, with head- and footboard height, scroll detail and canopy height made to your specification. Mattress support is a welded steel mesh or a slat system to your preference.

What is your minimum order for wrought iron beds?

A trial or sample bed can ship LCL (part-container). For best wholesale pricing thereafter, one 20ft full container load is our standard minimum. Iron beds knock down flat, so a container holds a high unit count — and we consolidate them with wood furniture, metalware and décor into mixed containers.

Do wrought iron beds ship flat-packed?

Yes, and they are among the most freight-efficient beds we make. Heads, footboards and rails separate and nest flat, with bolt-through connectors for fast assembly, which cuts container volume and transit damage sharply. We supply carton, retail-ready and Amazon-FBA-ready packaging for online and wholesale channels.
