Vintage bathroom vanities — carved, patinated solid-wood cabinets built for export.

The vintage look sells because it adds age and story to a room that is otherwise all tile and chrome. We manufacture vintage-style vanities in Jodhpur — turned legs, framed panel doors, aged-brass pulls and hand-distressed finishes over solid mango, sheesham, reclaimed wood or teak — built to your sizes and basin layout, legally sourced, FSC and EUDR-ready, from a single trial unit up to repeat container volumes.

Why vintage for a bathroom vanity

A washstand that looks collected over decades — built new, to your spec.

Vintage is a styling language, not a single wood. It borrows from Victorian washstands, colonial campaign chests and early-century apothecary cabinets: furniture-like legs rather than a plinth, framed and fielded panel doors, visible dovetails, and warm metalwork in aged brass or blackened iron. We build that language into a modern, plumbing-ready cabinet. The character comes from the finish — layered stains, hand-rubbed edges where a century of hands would have worn them, and a soft waxed sheen — so a brand-new unit reads as a piece with history. Because every cabinet is made to order, you get the romance of a salvaged washstand with none of the compromises: consistent sizing across a range, repeatable finishes container to container, and cut-outs matched to the exact basins and taps your project specifies.

A vintage finish should never mean a vague supply chain. We provide US Lacey Act declaration support, UK Timber Regulation coverage, and CARB / TSCA Title VI formaldehyde-compliant finishes, with social and quality assurance under SEDEX / SMETA, ISO and SGS inspection, and ISPM-15 heat-treated export packing. Care & durability

A distressed finish that wears gracefully, not badly.

Vintage vanities are built to live in a bathroom, not just look the part. Carcass and doors are kiln-dried before joinery so panels stay flat through humidity swings, and splash-exposed surfaces are sealed with moisture-resistant finishes. A hand-distressed surface has a real advantage here: minor knocks and water marks blend into the intended patina rather than standing out as damage, so these units age well in high-traffic hotel and rental bathrooms. Wipe clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth, avoid soaking and harsh solvents, and re-wax a waxed top occasionally to refresh the sheen. Natural-stone tops should be sealed on a normal maintenance cycle. Aged-brass hardware is meant to deepen with time; leave it to patina or polish it to taste. Full care and finish guidance ships with every order so your retail and hospitality customers get consistent advice.

Questions buyers ask

Vintage vanity sourcing, answered.

What makes a bathroom vanity look vintage rather than just old?

A vintage vanity reads as a considered period piece, not merely worn. We achieve the look with turned or carved legs, framed panel doors, exposed dovetails, cup or ring pulls in aged brass, and multi-step hand-distressed finishes — layered stain, gentle edge wear and a waxed patina. The result is a cabinet that looks collected over decades while being newly built to your exact dimensions, plumbing cut-outs and finish standard.

Which woods and tops do you use for vintage vanities?

We build the carcass and doors in solid mango, sheesham (Indian rosewood), reclaimed/old wood or teak, chosen for grain character and how they take a distressed finish. Tops are offered in matching solid wood sealed for splash areas, or in natural marble and other stone for a classic washstand look. Antique-brass or wrought-iron hardware and optional cane door panels complete the period styling.

Can you build vintage vanities to our sizes and basin configuration?

Yes. As an OEM manufacturer we build to your drawings — single or double basin, wall-hung or freestanding, with vessel-sink cut-outs or undermount recesses, pre-bored tap and waste holes, and back panels notched for your plumbing. Give us widths, heights and the basin and tap models and we return a production drawing for sign-off before tooling.

Are these vanities suitable for a humid bathroom?

Timber is kiln-dried to a stable moisture content before joinery, and splash-exposed surfaces are sealed with moisture-resistant, CARB / TSCA Title VI formaldehyde-compliant finishes. We recommend standard bathroom ventilation and sealing any stone top. Solid-wood vanities handle normal bathroom humidity well; we advise against installations with standing water contact or no extraction.

What is your minimum order and lead time for vintage vanities?

A trial or sample unit can ship LCL (part-container). For best wholesale pricing thereafter, one 20ft full container load is our standard minimum, and we consolidate vanities with mirrors, stools and other categories into one mixed container. Typical lead time is 30–45 days after sample approval; urgent orders can be run at a premium.

Do you supply vintage vanities flat-pack and retail-ready?

Yes. We ship assembled or as knockdown (flat-pack / RTA) to cut freight and breakage, with legs, tops and hardware packed for on-site fitting. Packaging can be plain carton, retail-ready, Amazon-FBA-ready or fully branded with your labels and fitting instructions for distributors and online sellers.
