Live edge bar carts, cut from natural-edge slabs and rolled onto iron.
Natural-edge acacia, sheesham, mango and reclaimed-wood tiers on powder-coated wrought-iron or solid-wood trolleys — kiln-dried, castered, compliance-documented and container-ready for importers, retailers and hospitality buyers worldwide.
The tree's own edge, on wheels.
A live edge bar cart takes the two defining ideas — a mobile serving trolley and a natural-edge slab — and fuses them. Instead of a squared, machine-cut shelf, each tier keeps the undulating contour of the tree, so the figure, grain flow and organic edge become the design while the cart still rolls from kitchen to lounge. We treat it as a genuine solid-wood product: kiln-dried hardwood tiers, a real hardwood or powder-coated iron frame, lockable castered wheels, and working barware storage — bottle rails, stemware holders and, on request, a lower slab shelf or small drawer. Stock our catalogue range, or have us build to your exact slab, frame and brand.

A shelf that is its own showpiece
Because no two slabs are alike, every cart is unique — a genuine point of difference on a crowded shelf or in a boutique bar. The organic edge, book-matched figure and deep grain photograph well and justify a premium price point, which is exactly what retail and private-label buyers want from a hero SKU that still flat-packs efficiently.
Built to stay flat on the move
A cart is handled, pushed and loaded daily, so we engineer for it. Tiers are kiln-dried to export moisture levels, natural checks are locked with butterfly (bow-tie) keys, and the iron or hardwood frame carries the structural load while slotted brackets let the timber move seasonally. Welded or mortise-and-tenon joints keep the trolley rigid under a full load of bottles and glassware.
Mobility that works
The defining feature of a cart is that it moves. We fit lockable, non-marking castered wheels rated for loaded use, plus bottle rails, stemware/glass holders and optional rails or a towel bar — so the trolley rolls smoothly from back-bar to table and locks in place for service.
Finished for a real bar surface
Tiers are sealed with CARB / TSCA Title VI-compliant lacquer or a natural penetrating oil, chosen to resist spills and condensation rings while keeping the wood's tactile edge. You choose the sheen — matte, satin or a protective film build for heavy hospitality use — and the iron frame is powder-coated against scuffs and corrosion.
One natural-edge idea, built for every channel.
Finishes
Natural oil, clear matte or satin lacquer, light stain to deepen figure, and smoke or distressed treatments for a vintage read. Iron frames are powder-coated black or bronze; brass hardware, handles and glass-holder rails are available.
Formats
Two-tier rolling cart, three-tier trolley, a tall narrow cart for tight bars, and a wood-and-iron industrial cart with a reclaimed or acacia natural-edge top tier and a lower storage slab.
Use cases
Statement home bars and lounges, boutique-hotel suites and roving service, restaurant and café drinks and coffee stations, event and banquet use, and private-label retail ranges that need a one-of-a-kind hero SKU.

Natural-edge slabs that clear customs, not sit at the port.
Live edge carts are often cut in sheesham — a Dalbergia species under CITES scrutiny and squarely within the EU Deforestation Regulation — or in acacia, mango and reclaimed wood. We handle the paperwork before you ask: geolocated, deforestation-free, Vriksh-verified timber with FSC chain-of-custody, Lacey Act declaration support and UK Timber Regulation coverage, documented per shipment.

How to keep a natural-edge trolley looking its best.
Finish & surface
Wipe spills promptly and use coasters under bottles and chilled glasses; keep the cart out of direct sun and off heat sources so the solid-wood tiers stay stable. Oiled tiers can be refreshed with a compatible penetrating oil; lacquered tiers need only a soft, damp cloth. Keep castor wheels clean and the locks engaged during service, and avoid overloading the natural-edge shelf.
Retail-ready documentation
Each shipment carries care guidance you can pass to your own customers, plus the compliance file your customs broker needs. Branded, retail-ready and Amazon-FBA-ready packaging is available so carts arrive shelf- or dropship-ready, with assembly guidance for flat-pack builds.
Live edge bar cart sourcing questions, answered.
What is a live edge bar cart?
A live edge bar cart is a mobile, usually two-tier serving trolley whose shelves keep the natural, uncut contour of the tree rather than being squared off. We cut each tier from a single kiln-dried hardwood slab, mount them on a powder-coated wrought-iron or solid-wood frame, and fit lockable castered wheels, bottle rails and stemware holders so the cart rolls from bar to table while the organic slab edge stays the hero of the piece.
Which woods do you use for live edge bar carts?
We cut natural-edge tiers from solid acacia, sheesham (Indian rosewood), mango, teak and reclaimed old wood. Acacia and sheesham carry the boldest grain and figure for a statement shelf; mango suits lighter and two-tone ranges; reclaimed wood gives a deforestation-free character story. Every tier has a solid-wood core — we do not supply plywood or veneer-only shelving.
How do you keep a narrow live edge cart shelf from cracking or warping?
Slabs are kiln-dried to export moisture levels, stabilised with butterfly (bow-tie) keys across any natural checks, and fixed to the frame with slotted brackets that let the wood move seasonally without splitting. On an iron trolley the metal frame takes the structural load, so the natural-edge timber is free to stay flat. The method is standard on our live edge program and documented for your QC team.
Can you make live edge bar carts to our own size, finish and brand?
Yes. As an ODM and OEM manufacturer we build to your drawings — tier length and thickness, edge profile, cart height, number of tiers, castor type, rail and holder layout, and finish — and to your private-label or retail-ready packaging. We also do custom CNC detailing and branded or Amazon-FBA-ready cartons for online sellers.
Are your live edge bar carts compliant for import into the US and EU?
Yes. We document FSC chain-of-custody and Vriksh timber-legality, handle sheesham to CITES norms, and are EUDR-ready with geolocation and deforestation-free due diligence. We support US Lacey Act declarations, UK Timber Regulation, CARB / TSCA Title VI finishes and ISPM-15 heat-treated export packing. Certificate numbers are shared directly with serious buyers.
Do live edge bar carts ship assembled or flat-pack?
Both. Because a cart is an open trolley, the natural-edge tiers and the iron or wood frame knock down efficiently — flat-pack / RTA builds raise container density and cut transit breakage for large importers and online sellers. Assembled carts suit hospitality and showroom delivery, and we advise the best option per market and channel.
