Terrazzo furniture — composite stone tops, built on solid-wood and iron.

Terrazzo gives you the speckled, continuous-surface look that fills café floors and retail shelves — hard, sealable and endlessly patternable. We manufacture it the export-grade way: terrazzo tops cast and polished to your chip mix, mounted on solid-wood or wrought-iron bases engineered to travel and to last.

What terrazzo is

A composite surface — stone and glass chips set in a binder, ground flat and polished.

Terrazzo is not a single stone. It is a man-made composite: chips of marble, granite, quartz, recycled glass, brass or mother-of-pearl are cast into a binder, then ground and polished to a smooth, seamless plane. Because the aggregate and background are chosen by you, every top is in effect a custom pattern — the material's defining commercial advantage over a fixed natural stone.

Cement-bound terrazzo

The classic. A cementitious binder gives a matte, tactile, slightly cooler surface and the heavier heft buyers associate with "real" terrazzo. Best for muted, earthy palettes and larger-chip looks. More porous, so sealing and pH-neutral care matter more.

Resin-bound terrazzo

A resin binder yields a denser, less porous, lighter top with brighter aggregate colours and crisper chip definition — ideal for retail and café ranges where colour pops and shipping weight counts. Takes a higher-gloss polish.

What we make from it

Terrazzo tops, engineered bases, one compliant container.

Because every piece we export carries at least one solid-wood or metal component, terrazzo sits naturally in our range as a surface — paired with bases we build and QC ourselves. That means a single supplier for the top, the base and the paperwork.

Café & bar tables

Round and square terrazzo tops on cast-iron or solid-wood pedestals — a hospitality and contract staple built for daily commercial use.

Coffee & side tables

Terrazzo tops on sheesham, mango or iron frames for living-room and retail ranges, in your chip and colour spec.

Vanity & console tops

Sealed terrazzo surfaces for bathroom vanities and entryway consoles, cut to your basin and fixing layout.

Dining tables

Larger terrazzo tops on solid-wood or steel understructures, crated with edge protection for container transit.

Trays, plinths & décor

High-margin, container-filling terrazzo accessories that pair with our wider décor & accessories range.

Care & compliance

Sealed, documented, and packed to arrive whole.

A terrazzo top is only as good as its care and its crating. We seal every surface, ship a care and re-sealing guide, and pack tops knockdown with corner and edge protection. Where a piece carries a solid-wood base, the timber side of the order runs on our full export compliance — the terrazzo surface itself is finished to formaldehyde-compliant norms.

Buyer questions

Terrazzo furniture — frequently asked.

What is terrazzo and what is it made of?

Terrazzo is a composite surface made by setting chips of marble, granite, quartz, glass or mother-of-pearl into a binder, then grinding and polishing it flat. We use both cement-bound terrazzo (classic, matte, heavy) and resin-bound terrazzo (lighter, denser, with brighter aggregate colours). The chip mix, chip size and background colour are all specifiable, so each top is effectively a made-to-order pattern.

Is terrazzo furniture durable and suitable for commercial use?

Yes. A sealed terrazzo top is hard, dense and highly scratch- and impact-resistant, which is why it has been used on floors and counters for decades. For hospitality and contract projects we build terrazzo tops onto solid-wood or wrought-iron bases engineered for daily commercial use, and we document lot traceability and third-party SGS inspection on request.

Can you supply terrazzo tables in custom sizes, colours and chip patterns?

Yes — this is OEM work. Send your dimensions, edge profile, base style, background colour and desired aggregate (marble, recycled glass, brass flecks, mother-of-pearl) and we sample to spec before production. We also hold ready ODM designs for round café tables, coffee tables, side tables and vanity tops.

How do you pack and ship terrazzo furniture so it arrives intact?

Terrazzo tops are heavy and brittle at the edges, so we crate them with corner protection and foam, and ship most ranges knockdown — top separated from base — to cut breakage and raise container density. Wood bases and crating use ISPM-15 heat-treated timber, and we ship FOB or CIF from Mundra or Nhava Sheva.

How do I care for a terrazzo tabletop?

Wipe with a soft cloth and a pH-neutral cleaner; avoid acidic cleaners, bleach and abrasive pads, especially on cement-bound terrazzo. Re-seal periodically to keep the surface stain-resistant, use coasters under alcohol and oils, and lift rather than drag heavy objects across the top. We supply a care and re-sealing guide with every order.

What is the minimum order for terrazzo furniture?

A trial or sample order can ship LCL so you can assess the surface and finish first. For best wholesale pricing thereafter, our standard minimum is one 20ft full container load, and terrazzo pieces can be consolidated with solid-wood furniture, metalware and décor in a single mixed container.
